RV Door Lock User Manual
LOCK HOLE OPENING MUST MEASURE:
2.75″ Wide x 3.75″ Tall x 1.50″ Thick
INSTALLING THE BATTERIES
- Remove the 2 screws of the battery cover on the back of the product. Open the battery cover. Put in 4 AA alkaline batteries (see Figure 1). Turn the switch to “ON” at the back of the Kohree Handle. A beep will confirm that the handle has power.
- Note:
When replacing the batteries, install High quality and fully charged alkaline batteries.
When you hear fast beeps before the lock actuates, it means the batteries are low.
It’s better to take the batteries out when you are not in travel season to save battery life.
USB Charger
You can also use the provided USB cable to charge your lock( see fig 2). The
lock is working when the LED indicator turns green.
INSTALLING THE NEW HANDLE

Remove your new lock from the package, and put it on a table.

Slide the Front Handle of your new RV Lock into the opening on the front of the door, while carefully pulling the wires ahead of the lock and through the opening. Then, hold the front handle in place and attach the new strike plate (the edge plate ) included in the package with the 2 shorter screws on the door side. (see fig3)

Remove the 2 screws holding the battery cover and install the 4 AA alkaline batteries.

While holding the RV Lock’s Back Handle, connect the battery wires to the Front Handle that is already in the door(see fig 4). A confirmation beep signifies that the connection is made.

Carefully align and attach the back handle while gently tucking excess wires into the void area. Hold the paddle of the Back Handle closed while inserting the paddle tooth into the Front Handle housing. A NOTE: Make sure not to pinch or cut wires during installation.

Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to install the 4 longer screws. For the moment, only tighten the screws tight enough to keep the lock securely against the door. (see fig 5)

Adjust and straighten the Front Handle in the opening. Once straight, hold it in place while fully tightening the 4 longer
screws of the Back Handle (be careful not to overtighten). -
Replace the old strike plate on the door jamb with the new one included in the package.
• NOTE: If the door is hard to shut or will not close tight, simply adjust the strike plate on the jamb side of the door.
• DO NOT place your mechanical keys inside your trailer. Keep them somewhere outside of the trailer, so they are available when you forget your keypad code.
PROGRAMMING THE KEYPAD

Write down your desired “new” code. The access code should be 4 characters

Press the “8” key for two seconds and then while still keeping the “8” key pressed, also press the “LOCK” key, then release both.
• NOTE: DO NOT press both “8” and “LOCK” keys in the same time from the start. -
Type in default code-1234″ and then press the “LOCK’ button.

Now type in the new code, then press the “LOCK” button.

Confirm the new code again and press “LOCK”. A confirmation beep confirms your new programming.

Double check if your new code is working. Type in your new code and press the lock button, and the keypad should confirm the accepted code by actuating the deadbolt.
Reset the keypad
- When you have the below situations, you can reset the keypad:
- 1. Forget your desired code.
- 2. The keypad does not function correctly
- Just press the “code reset” button (see fig 6) on the Back Handle until you hear a long beep ( 5 seconds). It will reset your keypad code to “1234”. And then you can start again at steps 1 to 6 to programing your new code.
- Kindly note that the keypad will time out after 7 seconds of being idle. If you make a mistake simply press ” code reser and start over at step 1.
DOWNLOAD KOHREE APP
Download the Kohree RV lock App from the App Store (LOS devices running version 10.0 and later versions) or Google play (Android devices running version 5.0 and later versions).1( you can’t find the app in Google Play Store, please scan another QR code to download.
SET UP YOUR APP
- Pair your phone with the Smart Lock via BT. Your phone will search for the Smart Lock’s BT and then connect.
- To set an access code. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process. The access code should be 4 characters.
NOTE: If you already set your keypad new code, then just use the same code to set your app. Remember that always keep the same code for the keypad and the app. Once reset the keypad, all the settings for the app will be erased and need to be reset. Type in default code”1234″ to reset

BASIC OPERATIONS

To Unlock the Door
You can unlock the door using the keypad code, the Kohree app, or the key.
Option 1: Use the access code
1. Press any key to wake up the keypad. The keypad will light on.
2. Enter your access code. If the access code is correct, press the unlcok button. The door will unlock. . -
double short beep will be heard.
If you fail to unlock the door 5 consecutive times using the access code, you can also use your app or the mechanical key to unlock the door. Option 2: Use the app 1. Open Kohree app. The app will search for Smart Lock Bluetooth and connect. 2. Follow the on-screen instructions on the app to unlock the door. Pls, remember to enter your keypad code for the first time using it. Option 3: Use the key If you fail to unlock the door after 5 consecutive times using the access code, use the provided key to unlock the door. -
Lock the Door
Option 1: Use keypad lock button
1. Press any key to wake up the keypad. The keypad will light on. 2. Press and hold the Lock button 2 seconds to lock the door.
Option 2: Use the access code
1. Press any key or tap the touchscreen to wake up the keypad. The keypad will light on.
2. Enter your access code. If the access code is correct, press the lock button. The door will be locked.
Option 3: Use the app
1. Open the app. The app will search for Smart Lock Bluetooth and connect.
2. Follow the onscreen instructions on locking the door.
Option 4: Use the key
OTHER SETTINGS
- ON/OFF Switch: Turn on/off the keypad.
- CODE RESET: Reset the keypad.
- VOLUME: Adjust sound volume.
