Homeylux 497467 Wifi Smart Led Strip RGBWW

Please read these instructions and retain them for future reference.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Make sure that your smart device is connected to the same WiFi network. If you do not have a 2.4G Wifi network set up, or don’t know if your router is set up in 2.4G or 5G, press the “Common router setting method” button to recieve help in setting up a 2.4G WiFi network. The Homeylux app is compatible with Android 4.0 or higher and iOS 8.1 or higher.

1. Download HomeyLux App – Scan the QR code on the right to download the HomeyLux App. You can also search “HomeyLux” in either Apple App Store or Google Play to install the App.
2. Register a HomeyLux account and sign in the App – You will be prompted to enter your mobile number or email address to register. The system automatically recognises your country / area. You can also select your country code. Note: If you use a Mobile number you will be sent a text message with your confirmation code to complete your account registration.
3. Add lamp to HomeyLux App – Tap the icon “+” on the top right corner of “Home” page, choose ‘Lighting’ and your device type – Strip Lights (Wi-Fi), then follow the instructions to connect the LED Strip. The LED Strip needs to be set to flash rapidly. Please follow Step A and B below:
4. .Select a 2.4G WiFi network, enter your password and connect. Make sure your router, mobile an LED Strip are as close as possible.
5. After connection, the LED Strip will appear in your list and you can control it from anywhere in the world. You can also rename the Led Strip and group more LED Strips

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Remove all components of the Smart LED Strip from their respective packaging. Unroll the Smart LED Strip completely before starting with the installation.
2. Connect the AC adapter to the smart controller unit.
3. Connect the Smart LED Strip to the square connection port of the smart controller unit. Be sure that the black arrow on the Smart LED Strip is pointing at the white arrow on the square connection port of the smart controller unit (img. 1).
4. Long press the function button (round button) on the smart controller unit (img. 2) until the Smart LED Strip starts blinking.
5. To connect a remote controller to the Smart LED Strip, first remove the plastic tab from the battery compartment of the remote controller. While the Smart LED Strip is blinking, press one of the group buttons (img. 3) on the remote to pair the remote controller to the Smart LED Strip.
6. To pair the Smart LED Strip to the Homeylux app, select the “Strip Lights (Wi-Fi)” for the Lighting category and follow the instructions given in the Homeylux app.

WIRING DIAGRAM

IMPORTANT

1. Do not put any metal objects around the WiFi controller. These could block the incomming WiFi signal.
2. Unfold the LED strip to avoid the over heating issues.
3. Ensure that the power supply and WiFi controller are connected correctly.
4. The power supply output voltage should be same as the smart LED strip working voltage.
5. Do not cover the surfaces of power supply, WiFi controller and smart LED strip.
6. Ensure that you have a working 2.4G WiFi connection before powering on the smart LED strip.

APP FEATURES INTRODUCTION

With the Homeylux app, the various features of the smart LED strip can be controlled form your smart device.

• Remote control: Control the smart LED strip directly from your smart device, while connected to the same 2.4G WiFi network.
• Timer function: Set timers to automatically turn the smart LED strip on or off.
• Intelligent scene: Define multiple scenes, to easily switch between various lighting atmospheres.
• Group: Group multiple smart LED strips together to easily control your lighting with a single button press.
• Device Sharing: Control the smart LED strip from the Homeylux app on your smart devices or the remote control.

PRODUCT FUNCTIONS

Note: It is possible to control the smart LED strip via the 2.4G controller and WiFi simultaneously.

THE REMOTE CONTROLLER

With the 2.4G remote controller color you can turn the smart LED strip on or off, adjust the color temprature of the light, adjust the color of the light, adjust brightness, adjust speed (in dynamic mode), change lighting modes and group the smart LED strip (or multiple smart LED strips) to the remote controller.

• Power supply solution: 3V button cell.
• Control distance: open conditions 20-30 meters.
• Important: Remove the PVC insulation piece before using.
