PART 1

OPERATING YOUR CS-900TM ELECTROSTATIC SPRAY SYSTEM

  1. Before operating your CS-900TM Electrostatic Spray System follow the instructions listed on the ES-120TM Unpacking and Assembly Protocol to prepare the sprayer for operation.

  2. Before operation read through the CS-900TM Electrostatic Spray System Instruction Manual and view the included Training Video to acquaint the operator with basic operations and maintenance protocol.
NOTE: It is required that any and all operators are provided with a copy of the Instruction Manual and must view the training video before operating the equipment.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure all operators are properly trained and have reviewed the educational manuals and training video.

  3. Before connecting the tank, the tank should be oriented with the ByoPlanet shield facing outwards towards the operator, and the tank handle should be near the frame of the Electrostatic Spray System, otherwise the tank quick connects will not fit on to the plugs.

  4. Connect the tank quick connects to the tank plugs by pulling up on the col-lar and pushing the quick connect down onto the plugs. Attaching the quick connects

  5. Connect your ES-120TM Electrostatic Sprayer to the appropriate fittings on the hose from the reel. Refer to the ES-120TM Unpacking and Assembly Protocol.

  6. Attach the correct voltage extension cord (220v or 110v) to the electrical plug near the top handle of your CS-900TM Electrostatic Spray System.

  7. The power switch should be in the off position before plugging the extension cord into a wall outlet.

  8. The CS-900TM Electrostatic Spray System must be grounded and requires its extension cord to be grounded otherwise the equipment will not function.
A grounded 110v extension cord or adapter will have a three-prong plug rather than two.
Never use an extension cord or an adapter with only two prongs, unless the unit operates on 220v (CS-940TM Electrostatic Spray System).

PART 2

READ THIS FIRST
Before continuing with the operation of your CS-900TM Electrostatic Spray System, review the provided instructional literature and the training video to ensure proper understanding and operation.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure all operators are properly trained and have reviewed the instructional literature and training video. ByoPlanetTM International LLC is not responsible for the improper use of chemicals. Operators should be familiar with the chemical product label and should be acquainted with first aid procedures in case of harmful contact. Operators should also be familiar with the proper personal protective equipment required for chemical use by the operators and other parties in the targeted areas.

  1. Insure that the CS-900TM is turned off prior to filling the tank.

  2. Remove the tank lid. The tank lid can be removed by lifting up on the latch and rotating the tank lid 90 degrees in either direction. Once the lid has been rotated it can be removed from the tank entirely. Reverse the steps to reattach the tank lid.
If the tank lid has resistance it is likely that the tank is still pressurized. At this point, pull the key ring of the pressure relief valve (located on the tank lid) to depressurize the tank and to allow the lid to be removed.

  3. Carefully pour an approved chemical into the tank.
Chemical should not be poured into the tank while the tank lid is still present. Any spilled chemicals should be dealt with according to the instructions on the manufactures label. Chemicals spilled on the CS-900TM Electrostatic Spray System should be wiped off with a cloth dampen with warm water.
Check that the tank lid o-ring is still attached to the tank lid and has not fallen into the tank or been misplaced. Absence of the o-ring will result in the tank not maintaining its pressure.
Replace the tank lid and depress the latch.

  4. Power on the unit by flipping the power switch up.
Your CS-900TM Electrostatic Spray System is now ready for operation.

POST-OPERATION MAINTENANCE FOR YOUR CS-900TM ELECTROSTATIC SPRAY SYSTEM:

  1. After operation, it is very important to remove all unused chemical from the tank. Therefore, it is recommended that the amount of chemical put into the tank is appropriate for the amount of chemical required for the job.
  2. It is strongly recommended that the tank be rinsed with warm water and that the water is run through the CS-900TM Electrostatic Spray System and ES-120TM Electrostatic Sprayer to clear the chemical from the hose line and sprayer. Failure to routinely flush the system of chemical will result in damage to the equipment. This damage will not be covered by your warranty.
  3. While the CS-900TM Electrostatic Spray System is still on, remove the smaller hose quick connect from the sprayer handle by pulling down on the quick connect collar and pulling the quick connect away from the handle. Continue to depress the trigger to clear the remaining chemical from the ES-120TM Electrostatic Sprayer. Spray until liquid no longer flows through the sprayer.
The outside of the CS-900TM Electrostatic Spray System should be wiped clean with a cloth dampen with warm water at the end of every workday.
