Airdopes 121 V2 comes with Bluetooth v5.0 and Insta wake n’ pair technology that automatically pairs with your device as soon as the earbuds are out of the case.
Its 380mAh carry cum charging case offers an additional playtime of up to 10.5 hours.
With a battery capacity of 380mAh for each earbud, indulge in a blissful audio experience for up to 3.5 hours per charge. The TWS Airdopes 121v2 comes equipped with 8mm drivers that pump out immersive sound.

Charging

How can I charge the earbuds?​
To charge the earbuds, put the earbuds into the charging case in their correct orientation.
A Red Led on the earbuds will indicate that they are being charged.
This LED will turn Blue once the earbuds get fully charged.
When both the earbuds are fully charged, the carrying case will turn off to power saving mode.

How to charge the case?​
To charge the case, plug in the provided micro USB cable into the charging case and connect it to any USB port, for eg- a wall adapter or computer.
The display inside the charging case indicates the charge/battery status percentage.

What to do if the charging case is not charging?
1. Check if the stickers on the charging points of the ear pods are removed or not. If not then it is to be removed and the ear pods will start charging once put inside the charging case.
2. Check if the charging cable connected to the case is not broken, use other charging cable and also ensure that the charger being used is not of 9V or 12V as that will damage the case. The LED lights located on the charging case indicate the battery status of the case.
3. Check if the type-C port on the case is damaged or not.

What to do if the earbuds are not charging?

  1. Ensure that the earphone case is charged for charging the earbuds.
  2. Check to see if the earbuds have been put inside the case in the right orientation, and a white light on the earbuds will indicate they are still being charged. This light will go off once the earbud’s have been completely charged.
  3. Clean the magnetic connector pins on the case and connector place on the earbuds with a clean cloth with mild alcohol and check the charging of the earbuds again.
  4. After cleaning, put the left earbud into the case in desired orientation and close the lid.
  5. After cleaning, put the right earbud into the case in desired orientation and close the lid.
  6. Once both the earbuds are charged, the LED on the case will go off.

​What to do if earbuds not charging while inside the charging case even when the case is charged?

  1. Check if the charging pins of the case are clear and there is no obstruction.
  2. Check if the charging pin of the earbuds are clear and there is no obstruction.
  3. Check if the orientation of the earbuds inside the case is correct and they have been properly inserted inside the case.
  4. Theck if the pogo pins are clean. You may do so by gently cleaning it cotton swabs with alcohol.
Device Controls

How to Switch ON the Earbuds?
Step 1: Take out the earbuds from the charging case, the earbuds will power ON automatically. OR
If they are already outside the case then you can long press the MFB (Multifunction Button) on both the earbuds for 3 seconds to manually switch them ON.
Step 2: Please wait for a few seconds while both the earbuds automatically pair with each other and go into the connection mode.

Note:

  1. Both the earbuds are master earbuds.
  2. Pairing mode lasts for 5 minutes. If the pairing time is missed then you will need to reconnect the earbuds and follow the above mentioned procedure.
  3. Airdopes 121 V2 remembers the previously connected devices. Once switched ON, the earbuds automatically reconnect with the previously paired device.​

How to Switch OFF (Smart Power OFF) the Earbuds?

Step 1: After usage, remove both the earbuds from your ears.
Step 2: Place the earbuds back into the charging case in correct orientation.
Step 3: The earbuds will automatically switch OFF and enter into the charging mode.

How to switch OFF the earbuds manually?​
Step 1: Long press the MFB for 5 seconds.
Step 2: Once the earbuds get turned OFF, place them back inside the case and close the lid.

How Do I factory reset my earbud?

Step 1: Place both the earbuds inside the charging case in their correct orientation.
Step 2: Triple tap the MFB on both earbuds to perform the factory reset. Once done, it gets indicated by alternate red and blue LED flashes.
Step 3: Shut the lid of the case and then reopen it again.
Step 4: Once you take the earbuds out from the case they automatically restart
Congratulations! Your Airdopes 121 V2 has been reset.

How can I use a single earbud (Mono mode) at a time?
Both the earbuds can be used in “Mono Mode”

Step 1: At this stage your earbuds are in stereo mode and connected to Bluetooth device.
Step 2: Simply remove left/right earbud from your ear.
Step 3: Place the earbud back inside the charging case.
Step 4: Congratulations! You are now using mono mode.

NOTE:

  1. To switch to Stereo Mode, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power ON and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling stereo usage.
  2. You cannot skip tracks or return to the previous tracks in Mono Mode.

How to activate Voice Assistant?
Long press the MFB on either earbuds for 2 seconds to activate the voice assistant.

How to answer/end calls?
Single press the MFB on either earbud to answer any incoming call and once again to hang up once done talking.

How to reject calls?
Press and hold the MFB on either earbud for 1.5 seconds to reject an incoming call.

How to play/pause music?
Single press the MFB on either earbud to play/pause music at your convenience.

How to change tracks in Airdopes?
Next Track: When playing music, double tap the right MFB to skip to the next song.
Previous Track: When playing music, double tap the left MFB to return to the previous song.

​How to adjust the volume?
Volume cannot be changed from earbuds. It can only be changed from the media device connected with the Airdopes 121 V2.

Poor Sound Quality

What to do if the sound is distorted/low volume/low bass/low quality?

  1. Check if connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied.
  2. Check if the problem still occurs if the device is moved closer and all obstacles in the middle are removed.
  3. Check if the distortion or quality lowers at all volumes or only at high volumes.
  4. Check the sound on different media players and different devices and if the distortion happens on all devices or only on specific ones.
  5. Check if the problem occurs at all levels of charging or only at low charging levels.
  6. Check if the earbuds do not have water droplets, in case they do, use the blow dryer to dry out any water from a distance.
  7. Check if the earbuds are clogged with ear wax, simply clear the earbuds to restore the original sound.

What to do if the sound output is muffled?

  1. Check if connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied.

Bluetooth Connectivity

What to do if the device is not connecting via Bluetooth?

  1. Check if the device is in pairing mode and indicating that by alternating green and red LED flashes on either earbud.
  2. Check if the device is in the range of Bluetooth (usually 10m) and if there are any obstructions in between.
  3. Check if the device being connected to supports Bluetooth connections or not.
  4. Check if it is a passcode issue and if so enter 0000 / 1234.
  5. Check if the device being connected to does have any software issues or not – Check to forget the device on Bluetooth, update the mobile software, if it still does not work try factory resetting the device.

What to do if the device is not entering stereo mode / is stuck in mono?

  1. Check when both the earbuds are taken out of the charging case, the earbuds will enter into the Connection Mode, indicated by light blue LED flashes.
  2. If one of them fails to smart power on, to manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch the CTC for 3 seconds on both Left and Right earbuds for switching them on until the LED light begins to flash in red and white colours.
  3. Place the earbuds in the charging case and then try using them again. Check if itconnects automatically.
  4. Check and see if hard resetting the device work as desired or not.
  5. Check if the earbuds are charging or not. If not then clean the earbuds and the charging case specially the charging pins and connectors with mild alcohol swab and see if it goes in charging mode or not.

What to do if the device occasionally disconnects/ the right earbud keeps disconnecting?

  1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.
  2. Check if the same problem happens for different devices and media players.
  3. Check if there are any obstructions between the earbuds and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earbuds and see if it still affects it.
  4. Try factory-resetting the device.

Why is one side of my earbud not working?
​Simply the earbuds back in to the case and take them out or perform the factory reset.

What to do if the device does not turn ON?

  1. Check to see if the device has been properly charged first or not. A blue light on the earbuds will indicate they are still being charged. This light will go off once the earbud’s have been completely charged.
  2. Check if the voltage of the charger is correct for the charging case and if the lights on the bottom are glowing to indicate the charge level.
  3. Check by switching the earbuds on manually, press and hold the capacitive touch control for 2 seconds until the LED begins to flash in blue.
  4. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire.
  5. Check if the charging pins of the case and earbuds have some dirt accumulation or corrosion and clean them with alcohol swab and then put them back in the case for charge and the earbuds should start charging.

What to do if the in-built controls (CTC) of the device are not working?

  1. Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device
  2. Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if the controls do not function on call or other media players
  3. Check if the controls have been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards.
  4. Check if the control area has some sweat and oil as that might interfere with the capacitive touch control and clean the control area to remove any oil or sweat and the touch control should start working.

What to do if Insta Wake & Pair (IWP) is not working for my Airdopes?

  1. Make sure that you have paired the Airdopes at least once to the device you are trying to use IWP with before.
  2. Check if Bluetooth is turned on for your media device and it has the Airdopes in the list of paired devices.
  3. Try factory-resetting the device.
  4. Check if your Airdopes battery case has battery in it to have IWP functioning.
Microphone Functionality

What to do if the voice is muffled during calls/ Microphone has muffled input?

  • Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.
  • Check if dust or ear wax as accumulated near or inside the microphone port, there is no blockage on the microphone.
  • Check if sweat or water has gone inside the microphone.
  • Check if there are any obstructions between the earbuds and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earbuds and see if it still affects it.

General FAQs

Product Functionality

What is Insta Wake N’ Pair (IWP) technology?
Our IWP technology allows the earbuds to connect to your phone if they have already been paired before instantaneously upon opening the case.

Simply open the case and ensure that the Bluetooth is turned on for your media device, the buds will connect as soon as the case is opened without the need to take them out of the case first.

How to enable IWP for my earbuds?
There is no special process to enable IWP, simply follow the steps to pair your Airdopes to your media device first, then upon subsequent usage the IWP tech will be enabled automatically and the Airdopes will pair automatically to your previously paired media device if Bluetooth is turned on your media device.

Why is the IN-Ear Detection/ Touch not responding?
After long usage, residual stains and perspiration can affect the In-Ear Detection area or Touch control area. Please use a clean cloth to wipe those areas softly.

Does the Airdopes 121 V2 support ENx Technology?
No. Airdopes121 V2 does not support ENx Technology.

Can I charge my earphones with a mobile charger?
Yes, Airdopes 121 V2 supports Micro USB charging. If your mobile charger comes with Micro USB charging support then you can easily charge your device using your mobile charger.

Does it support Fast Charging?
No. Airdopes 121 V2 does not support Fast Charging.

What to do if there are other exceptions occurring during usage?
Place the earbuds back in to the charging case and try using them again or perform Factory Reset.

Can I lower the volume of the voice prompts/turn them off?
No, the voice prompts are integrated inside the earbuds and as of now there is no feature to turn them off or lower their volume.

Can I control the volume of the earbuds through integrated controls?
No, the earbuds do not have any integrated volume control on them, the volume has to be controlled using your connected Bluetooth device.
Ensure that in the Bluetooth settings of your media device, you have enabled syncing of Bluetooth and phone volume levels otherwise you may not be able to fully control the volume of the earbuds as intended.

Water/Dust Protection

Are my Airdopes 121 v2 waterproof and sweat resistant?
No, Airdopes 121 v2 does not have Dust and Water resistance.
