Introduction

Safety Instructions

This device can be used by children aged 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the device in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
There are no user-serviceable parts inside the device. Refer to an authorized dealer for service and/or spare parts.
Do not immerse the device in any liquid. Keep away from high heat and fire.

Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.

Operation

The HQM407C regenerates the incoming HD signal by decoding and re-encoding it to a new standard HD signal, so it can extend the transmission range without degradation.
Using the HQM407C is very easy as it is plug-and-play. Connect the HDMI® source signal, e.g. a DVD player, to the HDMI® input.

Connect the HDMI® output to the VGA device.

Maintenance

Occasionally wipe with a damp cloth to keep it looking new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents.
