Description – the purpose of use

  • This insect killer lamp is an ideal accessory for outdoor stays, i.e. for camping, weekend cottage, fishing, etc.

  • The lamp can be hung on a hook in a tent or on a branch, put on an underlay (table), held in the hand as a portable light source, or simply placed in the grass.

  • The LED lamp has a rubber case with an air cushion for protection against impacts (breakage).

  • The lamp includes a UV light insect killer that can be turned on or off independently of the LED light and thus the lamp can be used exclusively as a mosquito (insect)  killer at night for uninterrupted sleep.

  • Since it is water-tight (IPX6), the lamp can remain outdoors even in the rain and the insects on the insect killer are washed off using the running water.

  • The light intensity can be set to 100% ≥ 180 lm, 50% ≥ 90 lm, or 20% ≥ 30 lm for setting the optimal intensity as required.

  • The lamp is charged via a USB port using the supplied micro-USB cable, which enables multiple ways of charging, since USB ports are available on computers, power banks, USB car chargers, USB power adapters, etc.

Charging the lamp

ATTENTION

  • Prior to charging the lamp, use the control buttons to turn off the LED light and the insect killer since charging the battery during operation reduces its lifetime.

ATTENTION

  • Only charge the product using the prescribed charging method (via a USB port 5 V /1A) in the temperature range of 5-40°C. Using a different charging source may cause a fire or explosion as a result of inappropriate charging parameters.
Charging at an ambient temperature above 40°C may result in a fire or explosion since heat is generated during the charging process.
    1. Take the cover marked „INPUT“of the USB socket and insert the micro-USB connector of the supplied cable into it.
    2. Insert the connector of the USB cable into a USB port on a computer, power bank, or USB power adapter.
    ATTENTION

  • Charge the lamp in a vehicle when the car is running, i.e. while the car‘s engine is running, to prevent the car battery from becoming discharged.

  • The charging process is indicated by a lit red indicator light. When charged, the indicator light is lit green.
    3. After charging the lamp, disconnect the USB cable from the lamp and the USB socket of the power source, and properly seat the rubber cover marked „INPUT“onto it.
    ATTENTION

  • Properly seating the cover of the charging connector (sealing the connector) is essential for using the lamp in the rain and for washing it under running water.

Cleaning and maintenance

  • Wash off the insects on the insect killer under running water. Running water can also be used for washing the rubber case of the LED lamp. Do not use organic solvents for cleaning since they would damage the plastic parts.
