Safety information
Please read the safety instructions carefully before using the product for the first time and keep the instructions for future reference.
- This product is not a toy. Keep it out of reach of children.
- Keep product out of the reach of children and pets to avoid chewing and swallowing.
- Product operating and storage temperature is from O degree Celsius to 40 degree Celsius. Under and over this temperature might affect the function.
- Never open the product. Touching the inside electrics can cause electric shock. Repairs or service should only be performed by qualified personnel.
- Do not expose to heat, water, moisture, direct sunllghtl
- Please protect your ears against loud volume. Loud volume can damage your ears and risk in hearing Joss.
- Bluetooth wireless technology operates within a range of about 10 m (30 feet). The maximum communication distance may vary depending on the presence of obstacles (people, metal objects, walls, etc.) or the electromagnetic environment.
- Microwaves emitting from a Bluetooth device may affect the operation of electronic medical devices.
- The unit is not waterproof. If water or foreign objects enter the unit, it may result in fire or electric shock. If water or a foreign object enters the unit, stop use immediately.
- Only charge with supplied Adaptor. The direct plug-in adapter is used as disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable. So, make sure there is space around the power outlet for easy access.
- Do not use non orlglnal accessories together with the product as this can make the product functionality abnormal.

Volume Knob:
Turn clockwise to increase the volume, turn counter-clockwise to decrease the volume,
press to mute/unmute the sound. -
Sleep /Standby/Button:
Please long press Sleep/standby button to turn on DAB radio.Please long pressSleep/standby button to enter standby. -
Mode Button:
Press to change the mode; press and hold to adjust the display brightness. -
Info/Menu Button:
In any mode, press to display messages. Press and hold to enter the settings menu. -
Remote Receiver Window:
Direct the remote control towards the receiver window. -
LCD Display:
Shows the corresponding content during operation. -
Alarm Button:
Press to enter the alarm settings menu. -
Preset Button:
In DAB/FM mode, press to call out a preset station; press and hold to save a station. -
Back Button:
Press to return to the previous menu level. -
Rotary Knob:
Turn clockwise to skip to NEXT title; tum counter-clockwise to skip to PREVIOUS title; press to use as ENTER / SCAN button. -
Power Switch:
Set to ON position to turn the radio on; set to OFF position to tum the radio off. -
Headphone jack:
Supports standard 3.5 mm jack. -
DC-In:
DC 5V power Input. -
Power indicator:
Lights up red when power is supplied via power adapter. -
Antenna:
Extent carefully when listening to DAB/FM radio.
Remote control
- Short press standby button : Enter inteo mode/standby
- DAB& FM mode: Short press to search station
- Clock setting button :Short press to enter the clock setting interface
- ALARM button: Short press enter into the alann setting state
- MENU button : Short press to enter the menu settings
- INFO button : Short press to show information
- Numeric button: Combined with numeric 0-9 keys, select the station or song serial number
- SKIP• button:
- DAB mode: Short press-Forward moving station FM mode: Short press — Forward fine-tuning
- Long press –Fast forward moving station
- Long press – forward semi-automatic platform search
- Menu mode Short press-Forward moving station
- MUTE button:ON/OFF
- MODE button : Mode switch button for DAB/FM/BT/USB/TF Five modes to switch
- In working mode, Short press to set Sleep: OFF/15/30/45/60/90 minutes
- Snooze button: When the alarm sounds, short press to enter snooze function; in snooze function, short press to select snooze time.
- ENTER key: DAB and FM mode–OK button BT mode-play/pause button In menu mode–conflrm button.
- BACK button Short press level-by-level return; when alarming, Jong press to cancel the Jann
- Brightness key: LCD brightness adjustment key, three-section brightness adjustable;
- VOL+ button: Volume up
- VOL- button: Volume down
- PRESET button : Short press -· to enter the Interface of calllng out radio station Jong press -· to enter the interface of pre-stored radio station
- SKIP+button: DAB mode: Short press • move the radio station backwardLong press-move quickly backwards of the radio station
FM mode : Short press — Fine-tune backward,Long press-Backward semi-automatic search Menu mode: short press – Move forward
Power On/Off
- Carefully extend the telescopic antenna when llstenlng to DAB/FM radio.
- Set the power switch on the back of the radio to ON position to turn the radio on, and set the switch to OFF position to turn it off. The radio automatically enters DAB mode after being turned on.
Setting Alan’s
You can set 2 alanns by following the steps below:
- Press the [ALARM] button (3) to enter the alann settings menu.
- Tum the [ROTARY KNOB] (10) clockwise or counter-clockwise to select alarm 1 or alarm 2 settings.
- Then press the [ROTARY KNOB] to enter and turn the [ROTARY KNOB] (clockwise or counter-clockwise] to select the setting option On/OfffTime/Source/RepeaWolume.
- Alann: Select On or Off.
- Time: Select the time by rotating the [ROTARY KNOB) and press the [ROTARY KNOB] to confinn. Source: Select FM, DAB or Buzzer.
- Repeat: Select Once, Dally, Weekends or Workday.
- Volume: Select the volume by turning the [VOLUME] knob clockwise or counter-clockwise, then press the [ROTARY KNOB) to confirm.
After setting all options, press [INFO/MENU] to exit the alann settings menu.
When the alarm sounds, it gradually increases to the set volume. Tum the [ROTARY KNOB) (10) clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the snooze time and activate the snooze function. When the alann sounds, press the [VOLUME) knob to mute the sound.
System Settings
- In operating mode, press and hold the [INFO/MENU) button to enter the main menu. Tum the [ROTARY KNOB) (10) clockwise or counter <:lockwlse to select the corresponding function and press the [ROTARY KNOB) to enter the function.
DAB Radio

Switch your DAB-48 on, it will automatically enter DAB mode.

When entering DAB mode for the first time, the radio will automatically search for radio stations.
If stations have already been searched, press and hold the [ROTARY KNOB) to activate the automatic station search. -
After searching the stations is completed, turn the [ROTARY KNOB) clockwise or counter-clockwise to cycle through the station list. Press the [ROTARY KNOB] to select a station. Rotate the [VOLUME] knob to adjust the volume; press the [VOLUME) knob to mute the sound and press the [VOLUME] knob again to unmute.

Press [INFO/MENU] to view information with regard to the current station: radio text, signal strength,program type, program name, channel number/frequency, signal error rate, bit rate, time and date are displayed.

Press and hold the [PRESETS) button to enter the radio presets, then rotate the [ROTARY KNOB) to cycle\through the preset stations. Press the [ROTARY KNOB) to save the station under the current preset. To call up a preset station, press the [PRESETS) button and rotate the [ROTARY KNOB) to select the desired preset and press the [ROTARY KNOB] again to select.

Note: A total of 40 preset stations can be stored.

Press and hold the PNFO/MENUJ button to enter the main menu, then rotate the [ROTARY KNOB] to select the corresponding function and press the [ROTARY KNOB] to enter. The following functions are available:

- Station List: Display station list.
- Scan: Automatically search for radio stations.
- Manual Tune: Manually search for radio stations.
- Prune Invalid: Delete stations that have become invalid.
FM Radio

Switch your DAB-48 on. Press the [MODE] button to enter FM mode.

Press and hold the [ROTARY KNOB] to automatically search and save radio stations.Rotate the [ROT ARY KNOB] to select and play the saved radio station.

Rotate the VOLUME knob to adjust the volume; press the VOLUME knob to mute/unmute the sound.

Press (INFO/MENU] to view information with regard to the current radio station: radio text, program type,program name, channel information, time and date are displayed.

Press and hold the [PRESETS) button to enter the radio presets, then rotate the [ROTARY KNOB) to cycle through the preset stations. To call up the preset stations, press the [PRESETS] button and rotate the [ROTARY KNOB] to select the desired preset and press the [ROTARY KNOB] again to select. The preset radio station Is played. Note: A total of 40 stations can be stored.

Press and hold the [INFO/MENU) button to enter the main menu. Rotate the [ROTARY KNOB) to select the corresponding function. Press the [ROTARY KNOB] to enter. The following functions, as above, are available:

Scan: Search settings; select all stations or strong stations.
Bluetooth pairing/playback -
Switch your DAB-48 on and repeatedly press the [MODE] button until BT mode is selected. You will hear a confirmation tone, Indicating that the Bluetooth function has been activated and Is In pairing mode.
The display shows “Disconnected”. -
Activate the Bluetooth function on your external device (e.g. smartphone) and search for the Bluetooth device with the name “DAB-48”. Select to connect with “DAB-48”. After approx. 10 seconds you will hear two confirmation tones and the display shows “Bluetooth Connected” with the name of the connected external device. When turning off or disconnecting the external Bluetooth device, the radio sounds two confirmation tones and the display shows “Disconnected”.

Rotate the [ROTARY KNOB) to skip to the next or previous title, then press the [ROTARY KNOB] to play or pause.

Rotate the [VOLUME] knob to adjust the volume; press the [VOLUME] knob to mute the sound and press the [VOLUME] knob again to unmute.

Press and hold the [ROTARY KNOB) to disconnect from the external device.
