WARRANTY

This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures that are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The guarantee is issued with the original till receipt. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty. If your device breaks down within the 2-year warranty period, you can return the device together with your receipt to the shop where you purchased it The guarantee on accessories and components that are liable to wear-and-tear is only 6 months. The guarantee and responsibility of the supplier and manufacturer lapse automatically in the following cases:
- If the instructions in this manual have not been followed.
- In case of incorrect connection, e.g., electrical voltage that is too high.
- In case of incorrect, rough or abnormal use.
- In case of insufficient or incorrect maintenance.
- In case of repairs or alterations to the device by the consumer or non-authorised third parties.
- If the customer used parts or accessories that are not recommended or provided by the supplier / manufacturer.

This appliance may be used by children from the age of 16 and up, and also by persons with a physical or sensorly limitation, as well as mentally limited persons or persons with a lack of experience and knowledge. But only on the condition that these persons have received the necessary instructions on how to use this appliance in a safe way and know the dangers that can occur by using this appliance.

Maintenance and cleaning of the appliance may not be done by children, unless they
are older than 16 years old and are under supervision. Keep the appliance out of reach of children younger than 16 years old. -

Attention : This appliance cannot be used with an external timer or a separate remote control.

Never use the appliance when the cord or plug is damaged, after malfunction or when the appliance itself is damaged. In that case, take the appliance to the nearest qualified service center for check-up and repair.

The use of accessories that are not recommended or sold by the manufacturer can cause fire, electrical shock or injuries.

Unplug the appliance when it is not in use, before assembling or disassembling any parts and before cleaning the appliance. Put all buttons and knobs into the ‘off’ position and unplug the appliance by grasping the plug. Never unplug by pulling the cord.

Never place this appliance near a gas stove or electrical stove or in a place where it may come into contact with a warm appliance.

Only use the appliance for domestic use. The manufacturer can not be held responsible for accidents that result from improper use of the appliance or not following the instructions described in this manual.

All repairs should be carried out by the manufacturer or its aftersales service.

Never immerse the appliance, the cord or the plug in water or any other liquid.

Make sure that children do not touch the cord or appliance.

Keep the cord away from sharp edges and hot parts or other heat sources.

Before use, remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers.

Unwind the cord completely to prevent overheating.

Don’t ever touch the heating belt with wet or moist hands.

Do not use pins, brooches, safety pins or sharp objects on the appliance because these will damage the electrical wiring in the heating element.

When the heating belt is connected:

Don’t place any heavy objects, on it.

Don’t place any heat source, such as a hot water bottle, on the appliance.

Prevent animals from lying on the appliance.
-
Never touch the heating belt with wet or damp hands.
-
Do not use pins, needles, safety pins or other sharp objects on the heating belt, as these will damage the wiring.

When the appliance has been switched on, do not:

Place a large or heavy object on the heating belt.
-
Place a heating source (e.g. a hot-water bottle, a heating cushion) on the heating belt.
-
Avoid animals lying on the heating belt.
-
The electric and magnetic fields submitted from this electric appliance can under certain circumstances interfere the operation of a pacemaker. Therefore it is advisable to enquire of your doctor and the manufacturer of your pacemaker before you use this product.

The heating belt is not suitable for use in hospitals.

The device may not be used for persons who are not sensitive to heat or for infirm persons who are not capable of reacting to over-heating.

USE
- Slide the connection plug into the opening.
- Plug in the appliance. The auto-off indicator light will illuminate shortly and “8” will appear for a while on the display.
- Fasten the heating belt at your back with the Velcro.
- Make sure the power connection is on the outside of the belt.
- Press the on/off button to switch on the appliance. “1” will appear on the display.
- Then, press the temperature setting button to increase the temperature. The temperature will increase each time you push the button. If you push the button once again when you arrive at setting 6, the temperature will drop again to setting 1.
- The appliance will switch off automatically after 1.5 hours. The auto-off indicator light will illuminate. Let the appliance cool down for 10 minutes before turning it on again.
- Press the on/off button if you want to disconnect the appliance. Then unplug the appliance.
Attention!
- Prolonged use on a high temperature setting may cause burns on a sensitive skin.
- Check if the temperature is pleasant with the top of your hand. This zone is more sensitive than the palm of the hand.
- If you use the appliance for several hours at the highest setting, the appliance could overheat.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Let the appliance cool down completely before cleaning it.
- Remove the connection plug.
- The heating belt can then be washed by hand (or in the washing machine) at 30°C max. Washing too frequently can lead to colour changes or abrasion. So only wash the heating belt when it is really necessary.
- Hang the heating belt out to dry. Never tumble dry, dry in the sun or on a heater. Do not use clothes-pegs, but hang the heating belt over a drying rack.
- Never switch the appliance on to dry faster.
- Store the heating belt in a dry place. Make sure the heating belt is rolled up properly. Do not fold the appliance.
