WARRANTY

This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is
responsible for any failures that are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The guarantee is issued with the original till receipt. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty.

If your device breaks down within the 2-year warranty period, you can return the device together with your receipt to the shop where you purchased it.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance may be used by children from the age of 8 and up, and also by persons with a physical or sensorly limitation, as well as mentally limited persons or persons with a lack of experience and knowledge. But only on the condition that these persons have received the necessary instructions on how to use this appliance in a safe way and know the dangers that can occur by using this appliance.

Children cannot be allowed to play with the appliance. Maintenance and cleaning of the appliance may not be done by children, unless they are older than 8 years old and are under supervision. Keep the appliance out of reach of children younger than 8 years old.

This appliance is suitable to be used in a household environment and in similar surroundings such as:

Attention: This appliance cannot be used with an external timer or a separate remote control.

  • Read all instructions before use.
  • Before use, check if the voltage stated on the appliance corresponds with the voltage of the power net at your home.
  • Do not let the cord hang on a hot surface or on the edge of a table or counter top.
  • Never use the appliance when the cord or plug is damaged, after malfunction or when the appliance itself is damaged. In that case, take the appliance to the nearest qualified service center for check-up and repair.

  • All repairs should be carried out by the manufacturer or its after sales service.
  • Never immerse the appliance, the cord or the plug in water or any other liquid.
  • Make sure that children do not touch the cord or appliance.
  • Keep the cord away from sharp edges and hot parts or other heat sources.
  • Before use, remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers.
  • Do not use the hair clipper near a sink or other containers filled with water or an other liquid.
  • Never use the clipper on wet or damp hair.
  • The proximity of water is always a potential risk, even when the clipper is switched off.
  • If the appliance has been dropped in water, immediately unplug the appliance. Be sure not to touch the water!
  • Never use a damaged appliance.
  • Only use the hair clipper for trimming hair.

USE

  1. Check the hair clipper and the cord for possible damage before using the appliance. Do not use the hair clipper when the appliance or the cord is damaged.
  2. Make sure that the on/off button is switched off.
  3. Unwind the cord and insert the plug into the power outlet.
  4. Never use the appliance with wet hands.
  5. Make sure that the hair to be trimmed is dry and clean.
  6. Click the comb attachment of choice onto the shaver head. Make sure that the comb attachment is properly clicked into place before starting to shave.
  7. Switch on the hair clipper by sliding the on/off button to the on position (1).
  8. Tip: Start by shaving a small piece to get used to the comb attachment.
  9. Start with the comb attachment for long hair. Then use shorter combs if necessary.
  10. Shave slowly and against the hair growth direction.
  11. Make sure that the comb attachment is as flat as possible during shaving.
  12. Use the adjusting lever for more flexibility, so you can gradually trim the hair without changing the comb attachment.
  13. Use the hair clipper without comb attachment for fine and detailled trimming.
  14. Immediately switch off the hair clipper after use by sliding the on/off button to the off position.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Switch off the appliance, pull the plug from the power outlet and remove any comb attachment.
  • Use the cleaning brush to remove the remaining hairs from the shaver head.
  • Do not clean the shaver head with water or any other liquid, except medical alcohol.
  • If the appliance is used regularly, it should also be oiled regularly. To do this, you can use the oil bottle that is included. Drip some oil onto the moving part (on the teeth) of the shaver head.
  • Only use acid-free oil.
  • Wipe off any excessive oil with a cloth.
