in any case but deactivate the fuse of the respective electrical circuit.
- Never use the machine with a damaged cable.
- Wear protective gloves, protective glasses, earphones, solid shoes and long trousers.
- Any longer shredded material protruding from the machine may get thrown off by impact when being pulled in so keep a safety distance and work carefully.
- Watch the rotating cutting knife. Never put your hands and feet to the opening.
- Make sure bystanders are not hit or injured by thrown-off items.
- Keep bystanders in safe distance from the machine.
Wait until all parts of the machine stop before touching them.

- Never stand on the collection box.
- Never touch in the feeding hopper when the machine is being operated. After switching the machine off, it keeps running for some more seconds.
- Children and persons not familiarized with the machine and persons with limited physical, sensory and mental skills must not operate the machine.
- Before starting the machine, it must be assembled based on the instructions attached.
- Use the FI switch and check it whenever you are going to use it.
- Extension cables protected against spraying water and recommended for outdoor use to be used only.
- Never touch the plug and outlet by damp or wet hands.
- Never run over and jam or jerk or pull the feeder and extension cable. Protect the cable against excess temperatures, oil and sharp edges.

has been damaged, cut or entangled.
Respect the system voltage: The current source voltage must match the details
on the type label of the machine.
An extension cable with a small conductor cross-section significantly reduces
the machine performance. At least 3 x 1.5 mm² for cables with length to 25 m
and at least 2.5 mm² for cables longer than 25 m. Caution! Extension cables
not specified must not be used. The extension cable, plug and coupling must be
watertight and approved for outdoor use.
Cable connections must be dry and must not lie on the ground.
If a cable reel is used, it must be unreeled.
Proceed as follows (pic. 1-2):
- Take the machine out of the package and install the axis, transport wheels and the collection box

Caution! The engine runs down after switching the machine off.
Remove earth from root balls and prevent undesirable items, e.g. stones,
glass, metals, plastic or textile materials from entering the feeding hopper
and subsequently to the machine and cutting cylinder as the machine could get
damaged.
The feeding hopper must be empty.
Switching the machine on:
Press the ON/OFF switch (pic. 5).
Switching the machine off:
Press the ON/OFF switch (pic. 5).
Restart protection
The restart protection prevents accidental machine start after power failure.
Overload protection
If the machine is exposed to a high load (e.g. cutting cylinder is blocked),
it stops after a couple of seconds.
Working Instructions
- Insert only such amount of shredded material that the feeding hopper does not get blocked.
- Do not shred soft waste without any solid consistency but compost it straight away.
- Make sure the shredded material falls to the collection box or collection bag unobstructed –risk of getting blocked!
- Optimum results are achieved when shredding fresh branches shortly after they have been cut.
Never touch in the opening, not even when the engine is off. Knives are sharp! To insert shredded material in the opening, use the feeding help.
