BLISS TYWE3S EVI Bassinet

INTRODUCTION

Handling a newborn isn’t easy. Between all the diapering, feeding, disturbed sleep schedules, burping, sterilizing boles and whatnot, new parents get totally overwhelmed!
Presenting the Bliss Bassinet, a smart extension of your hands and your newborn’s best friend!
Congratulations on your lile one and welcome to Bliss, your baby’s first smart device. The Bliss Bassinet is an infant bed featuring unique moons that allow you to rock your baby to sleep or pacify her while keeping you totally hands- free.
So, let’s get started. Configuring Bliss is a breeze. Just follow these simple steps and you will be on your way to ‘bliss’!

You will need

  1. Home Wi-Fi connection (2.4 ghz)
  2. An iOS or Android smartphone connected to the Wi-Fi
  3. A smart home device like Amazon Echo or Google Home also connected to the same Wi-Fi
  4. A power connection
  5. Your Bliss Bassinet is assembled and kept right next to your Wi-Fi router. It has to be physically close to the router to establish connection. You can carry the Bassinet back into the nursery once the pairing is done.
  • To operate the Bliss Bassinet using your phone, download and install the ‘Smart Life’ app using the App Store/Play Store. This app will act as a forever link between your Bliss Bassinet and home Wi-Fi connection

  • When you open the app, you will be able to sign up and create your profile. Save your login credentials. You may need them again to be able to control the Bassinet using devices like Amazon Echo or Google Home.

  • Once you are signed in, press the plus ‘+’ sign seen in the top right corner or click on ‘Add Device’. This acon will lead you to a screen, showing a list of various devices available.

  • On the le side of the screen, select ‘Small Home Appliances’. Now scroll down unl you find ‘Crib’ in the ‘Life’ section. Now that you have speed the ‘crib,’ keep your phone nearby. You will need it in a minute.

  • Pick up your phone where your Smart Life app is already open and is showing this screen. Now click on ‘Confirm indicator rapidly blink’.

    Now your Bliss Bassinet, your Wi-Fi and your Smart Life App are all ready to be paired!

  • The next screen will show you a percentage circle denong the progress of the connection. Now sit back and relax as the connection completes automatically without any interven on needed.

  • You may now bring the Bliss Bassinet back to the nursery or wherever you have planned for your lile one to sleep.

  • Once the device is found and the sync is 100% complete, your smart phone is connected to the Bliss Bassinet.

  • Now let’s get into the features of the Bliss Bassinet.
    You will find it listed as a device in your Smart Life app for an easy go-to. You will now see the Control Pad when you open the applicaon.

  • Using the Control Pad is easy and comfortable. You can switch the Bliss Bassinet on and off using the power button at the boom of the screen. The Bassinet lights, music and slider can also be controlled.
    You are now half-way there. All that is le is to configure the Bliss interface within the Smart Life app.

Let’s get to it.
You can control these functions by using the Control Pad.

  1. Switching the Bliss light on and off

  2. Controlling the intensity of the edge lights

  3. Styling of the edge lighting
    A – Stac Light B – Running Light

  4. Controlling the music

  5. Volume controls of music

  6. Auto slider funconing

  7. Controlling the speed of the slider

  8. Power On/Off Device

  9. Scheduler buon

  10. Songs buon

There is a mer seng available in the app to schedule the behavior of the Bliss Bassinet to coincide with your baby’s sleep patterns. For instance, if you know your baby cries as soon as she wakes up after her nap at 4pm every day, scheduling of music for 4pm each day can make your life much easier. Or the mer could be set for switching the Bassinet on or off at fixed mes. Buon number 9 is where you need to go for this fix.
Just choose the me you would like to schedule this for and you are set. There are some more features that may interest you. Aer you set the me:

  1. You can choose to repeat this function at your convenience
  2. Add remarks as required
  3. Receive a noficaon on your phone when the set action is executed
  4. You can choose the specialty features that you want to activate
  5. Total Switch
  6. Light
  7. Music
  8. Shake
  9. Once all sengs are done, click ‘save’ at the top right corner of the screen so that the app remembers your songs.

Your saved scheduler will look like this now.
You can control it with the buon next to this scheduler task.
Repeat the same steps to create a new schedule with the add buon.

Button number 10 will help you rename the various features the way you would like.

Important:

Remember the feature names so that these gestures can be accurately accessed using smart-home devices.
You are good to go using the Bliss Bassinet with the Smart Life app! Now let’s look at using the Bliss Bassinet with devices like Amazon Echo and Google Home.

Configuraon with Amazon Echo
Make sure your Amazon Echo is powered on and connected to the same Wi-Fi as your Bliss Bassinet.

  • At this step you need the Amazon Alexa app on your smart-phone. On the Home screen, click on the hamburger icon which will be in the top le corner. (It is those three stacked lines, the last one being short.)BLISS TYWE3S EVI Bassinet FIG 16

  • Select the Skills & Games opon from the menu items

  • In the top right corner, click on the search opon (magnifying glass icon) and type ‘Smart Life.’ The reason to do this is to use the Bliss interface that you have already saved in your Smart Life profile.

  • As you type the words ‘Smart Life,’ you will see the ‘Smart Life Skill’ option listed in the suggestion menu. Click on it.BLISS TYWE3S EVI Bassinet FIG 19

  • You will be prompted to log in.
    Use the same credentials as you have used to log in to the Smart Life app.

  • Once done logging in, click on ‘Authorize’ and on the next screen on ‘ENABLE TO USE.’ This will authenticate your identity and you can now use the Bliss Bassinet seamlessly using Amazon Echo.BLISS TYWE3S EVI Bassinet FIG 21

  • Your connection with Amazon Echo and the Smart-Life account is now successful.
    With these steps, all the devices listed under the Smart Life apps can be discovered by Amazon Echo.

  • Next, the app will prompt you to ‘Discover Devices.’ Click on it and it will discover the Bliss Bassinet.BLISS TYWE3S EVI Bassinet FIG 23

  • Bingo! Your Bliss Bassinet is now connected and ready. The full stack features like voice commands from the Amazon Echo suite are available.
    Go ahead, try it! Just ask Alexa to switch the edge lights on. And, voila! See the Bliss Bassinet light up!
    Hope you have fun and relaxation, indulging your baby in some gentle sway-a-sway or dazzling her with the any lights running along her bassinet’s edge!

Using your Bliss Bassinet with Google Home

  • Open the Google Home app on your smart phone.

  • Click on the plus icon ‘+’ and select ‘Set up device.’

  • Select the second opon of ‘Have something already set up?’

  • Click on ‘Manage accounts’ and type ‘Smart Life’ and select it.

  • You already have saved your Smart Life login details. Use the same to log in here.

  • Once you get in, click on the small dot opposite the words ‘Smart Life’. Click on ‘Link Now’ and ‘Authorize.’

  • Now your Google Home app will show the Bliss device. Use voice commands to operate it!
    Be it taking a short nap or geng a deck ready for tomorrow’s sales conference, you now have a virtual extension that soothes your baby at the drop of a diaper!
