Introduction

a stereo system with a conventional wired setup that produces fantastic sound. Put those 45s back in the rotation by connecting our excellent two-channel Duetto music system to the analog turntable with a high-quality audio connection. You can hear your music the way the artist meant it thanks to Duetto’s left and right speakers, which produce genuine two-channel stereo, which is how the majority of music is recorded. Great hi-fi sound is guaranteed by the unique DSP, and Duetto’s menu-based tone settings let you modify the sound to your personal preferences. The quality Ortofon cartridge and stylus are included on the Como Audio belt-driven analog turntable, which also has a thick steel platter and a speed control button. It’s never been better for your records.

Use a premium audio cable to connect the Duetto to the Turntable. This connection should be made of high-grade oxygen-free copper and use dual twisted pair technology with foil shielding to produce balanced sound with less distortion. Utilize the free Como Control app to group additional Como Audio models and play your recordings throughout your entire house!

NFC (TOP OF CABINET):

If your Android smartphone has NFC, make sure it is switched on in your device and be sure the display on your device is unlocked. Change the source to Bluetooth. Touch the NFC area of your smartphone to the NFC logo on the top of the cabinet. You may need to adjust your smartphone’s position around the cabinet’s NFC logo until it locates the signal. If your smartphone is in a case, the case might reduce the NFC signal. Once NFC is established, follow the instructions displayed on your smartphone to establish the Bluetooth connection.

Touch your smartphone to the cabinet’s NFC logo again to disconnect from Bluetooth. If your smart device does not support NFC, see the section marked “Bluetooth”.

SET UP WIZARD

After turning Duetto on for the first time, the Como Audio logo will be displayed, followed by the Set Up Wizard. Follow the on-screen instructions for each step. Rotate the Menu knob and push in briefly to select, or use the Up/Down arrow and Play (which doubles as “Select”) keys on the included remote control.

If your WiFi network requires a password, select “skip WPS” when prompted and use the keypad to enter your password, then select “OK” on the right side. You may find the remote keys handier for entering your password than using the Menu knob.

When prompted, we highly recommend you choose “keep the network connected” to maintain accurate time, receive prompt notification of software updates, and to access Spotify Connect.

If you make a mistake and need to start over again from the beginning, press and hold the Menu knob, select System Settings, Network, and Network Wizard. If your WiFi network is not shown, press and holds the Menu knob, select System Settings, then Factory Reset, and start the Set Up Wizard again.

ALARMS

Press and hold the Menu knob. Select Main Menu, then Alarms, then select Alarm 1 or 2. Set each category as desired and be sure to select “Save” when you are done or else none of your settings will be saved and the alarm will not be set. If you choose to wake to one of the Aux inputs, you must have your Aux device playing, such as an MP3 player, as Duetto cannot activate your source device.

To Snooze, press the Menu knob or the Snooze key on the remote. Snooze will re-set each time it is pressed. To stop the alarm, press the power button or the Alarm key on the remote.

BLUETOOTH

Rotate the source knob to Bluetooth and push in briefly to select. Open Bluetooth on your device and search/scan for the “Como Duetto” name, then pair and connect. Once you’ve paired and connected you shouldn’t need to do it again. If your device prompts you to enter a passcode, enter “0000”.

MY MUSIC: UPNP

If you have music on other devices on your WiFi network you wish to stream to Duetto (most commonly using Windows Media Player (WMP), open Windows Media Player on your device and make it the default player. Under the “Stream” tab, select “Turn on media streaming”, and next to “CA Duetto”, tic “Allowed”. On your Duetto, Press and hold the menu knob and select System Settings, then select Music player, and Shared media. Be sure your device and Duetto are both connected to the same WiFi network. Duetto will scan your network and present a list of device names. Select the device you wish to play music from. Use the track and play/pause keys on the included remote control to control the audio tracks.

NOTE
Duetto’s display cannot play videos or show pictures from another device. If you are streaming from a MAC, you will need to use a third-party UPnP server app.

DLNA
You can stream audio from a DLNA media server.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why do I continuously have to restart my Como Audio system?
Our models have restarted repeatedly as a result of the most recent Eero software update. Our models were operating normally before the firmware update. Regarding other mesh systems or networks, we have not heard of any such reports. As a temporary workaround, you can get your Como Audio system to work again by connecting it to the Guest Network.

  • Why am I receiving a British voice message that keeps repeating?
Due to significant dependability concerns with the prior aggregator, our UK software partner Frontier enabled a new Internet station aggregator in May

  1. The business that brought the premium music streaming services to our Musica model is the one behind our new aggregator (Deezer, Napster, and Amazon Music).
  • I’m experiencing difficulty or am having trouble connecting to an Internet station. What should I do?
Before attempting anything more, we strongly advise you to restart your router and modem (if you have one), as this usually resolves the problem. The router itself should include a reboot/reset button, or you can simply disconnect it for a moment and reconnect it back in.

  • Do I need to be a subscriber to use your products?
No. To utilize most of the capabilities our devices have to offer, you will need Wi-Fi service. Membership is required to use Musica’s premium streaming services, but it is not necessary to use the other features.

  • Is it possible to save presets for many Spotify accounts?
No, you can only save 1 account.

  • What do you suggest in terms of a WiFi configuration?
Any 802.11 2.4/5G b/g/n router can use our products. The ideal broadband connection has a 1Mb download speed.

  • Consider utilizing Apple AirPlay?
Use AirPlay as usual by connecting an audio wire from an Apple AirPort Express audio output to a Como Audio system’s auxiliary input. Ensure that your iOS smartphone and Como Audio system(s) are both linked to the Express network.

  • Will your goods be compatible with apps like Pandora, YouTube, iHeart Radio, TuneIn, and others?
All of our music systems exclusively support Spotify as a music streaming app. Our Musica has further integration for Amazon Music, Deezer, and Napster premium music providers for the optimum streaming experience.

  • Support 24 bit/192 kHz in your products?
    Yes. Auxiliary inputs on both.

  • Is a turntable compatible?
Yes, as long as you have an external preamplifier or your turntable has an inbuilt preamplifier.
