Safety Notice and Precautions

To use your Ring phone safely and effectively, please read the following information before use:

  • Please turn off your phone when you are near a chemical staff, a gas station, and oil depot or other explosives.

  • To ensure safety, please use earphone during driving; otherwise, unless emergency, make a call after parking your car by the roadside.

  • DO NOT use the phone while driving.

  • Do not use your phone while in a plane. Please check whether
    Flight mode is set or not before boarding.

  • Do not use your phone in a hospital to avoid interference with the normal operation of medical equipment which may result in a medical accident. If the phone is near a pacemaker, audio phones and some medical electronic equipment, you should pay special attention because the phone may interfere with these devices.

  • Auxiliaries and accessories not provided by Ring are excluded from the guarantee.

  • Do not disassemble your phone by yourself. In case of a failure, please contact the service center specified by Ring. Only a qualified person may install or repair this product.

  • Do not use your cell phone in the bathroom, under the rain or on high humidity.

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the phone, battery and charger.

  • Please be sure that the phone is not exposed to any liquid. In case this happens, please remove the battery and contact the service center specified by Ring.

  • Please use your phone in the environment which is neither too hot nor too cold, do not expose your phone in strong sunlight and in high-humidity environment

After the SIM card and the phone are successfully unlocked, the phone automatically searches for an available network.
Input methods
This phone provides multiple input methods, including English input in both upper and lower case, and numeric input methods.

Through this function, you can view a list of missed calls, dialed calls and received calls.

  • Contacts
    It can store up to 500 phone numbers.

  • Connectivity
    You can set Network account, Data connection, Network selection mode.

  • Restore Factory Settings
    Use this function to restore factory settings. The preset password is 1234.

  • File Manager
    The phone supports the SD card. You can use the file manager to conveniently manage various directories and files on the SD card.

  • Camera
    Capture photos that will be automatically saved in your device

  • Messages
    Through this function, you can write messages, view inbox, outbox, drafts, sent items and voicemail. If the short message memory is full,a blinking message icon appears on the top of the screen.

  • Profiles
    The phone has multiple user profiles to suit user’s requirements.

  • Display settings
    You can the set wallpaper, idle display, backlight, keypad backlight time and brightness through this function.

Note When you set the Keypad backlight time as “Always on”, this function just works in the evening.

Security settings

  1. PIN PIN code is the personal identification number for SIM card. Default password set by network operator should be 1234. If the PIN code is activated, then you must input the PIN every time you turn on the phone.
  2. Phone lock Secured by phone password, the phone will be protected from other unauthorized users. After activating this function, you should input the password each time you unlock the phone. The default password is 1234.
  3. Privacy protection: In this option, you can put password protection for certain functions. You must input the PIN every time you access the functions that you have selected.
  4. Auto keypad lock: After activating this function, the phone will be locked automatically after the set time.

Phone Settings

  1. Time and date: Set the time and the date and the format
  2. Language: Select the display language for the phone.
  3. Dedicated key: Customize the shortcut functions of the Up, Down, Left, and Right direction keys.
  4. Schedule power on/off: Set the time when the phone will be automatically powered on or off.

Tools

  • Alarm
    You can activate one, or multiple as needed. For each alarm clock, the date and the ringing time can be set.

  • Bluetooth
    With Bluetooth, you can make a wireless connection to other compatible devices, such as mobile phones, computers, headsets and car kits. You can use the Bluetooth to send images, video clips, and audio files.

  • Calculator
    The calculator can add, subtract, multiply and divide.

  • Calendar
    Once you select this function, there is a monthly-view calendar for you to view the date.

  • Torch
    Long press the center key to switch on or off in the standby interface.

  • FM radio
    You can activate radio function that can auto scan channels

  • Games
    This phone includes the game Snakes. For instructions, please refer to ‘help’ option of the game

Do’s and Don’ts for disposal E-waste Dos:

  • Ensure that an authorized person repairs your device.
  • Call the local Authorized Collection Centers to dispose products
  • Always drop your used electronic products, batteries or any accessories thereof after the end of their life at nearest Authorized Collection Point or Collection Center.
  • Separate the packaging material according to responsible waste disposal options and sorting for recycling.
  • Always remove the battery from the phone, when you do not intend to use the product anymore.
  • The Customer should use the same chargers and battery which came in with the original package.
  • Using other chargers or battery will badly impact the device performance that could render it out of warranty.
  • When charging the phone the first time, charge it for at least 3 hours to improve battery efficiency.

Don’ts:

  • Do not dismantle your device on your own.
  • Do not dispose of the mobile device in landfills.
  • Never dump mobile device in garbage bins.
  • Do not dispose of your product at municipal waste bins.
  • Do not throw used batteries into household waste.

Caution:
For Adapter: Shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible. For Battery: Possible risk of explosion battery is replaced by an incorrect type, dispose of used batteries according to the instructions. To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods.

Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) information:
This Mobile Phone meets the government’s requirements for exposure to radio waves. The guidelines are based on standards that were developed by independent scientific organizations through periodic and thorough evaluations of scientific studies. The standards include a substantial safety margin designed to assure the safety of all persons regardless of age or health. FCC RF Exposure Information and Statement The SAR limit of USA (FCC) is 1.6 W/kg averaged Over one gram of tissue. Device types: N120 (FCC ID: 2AWR6-N1 20 ) has also been tested against this SAR limit. The highest SAR value reported under this standard during product certification for use at the ear is o.559 W/kg and when properly worn on the body is o.757W/kg. This device was tested for typical body-worn operations with the back of the handset kept Omm from the body. To maintain compliance with FCC RF exposure requirements, use accessories that maintain a 10mm separation distance between the user’s body and the back of the handset. The use of belt clips, holsters, and similar accessories should not contain metallic components in its assembly. The use of accessories that do not satisfy these requirements may not comply with FCC RF exposure requirements and should be avoided.

Body-Worn Operation

This device was tested tor typical body -orn operations. lo comply with RE exposure requirements, a minimum separation distance of 10mm must be maintained between the user’s body and the handset, including the antenna. Third -party belt-clips, holsters, and similar accessories used by this device should not contain any metallic components. Body-worn accessories that do not meet these requirements may not comply with RF exposure requirements and should be avoided. Use only the supplied or an approved antenna.
