SAFETY INSTRUCTION
SETTING
- If the UPS is brought directly from a cold to a warm environment, allow for an acclimatization time of at least two hours.
- Do not install UPS near water or in a humid environment.
- Do not install the UPS in a place exposed to direct sunlight or near heat sources.
- Do not block ventilation openings in the UPS housing.
INSTALLATION
- Do not connect devices or equipment that might overload the UPS (eg laser printers) to the UPS output socket.
- Connect the UPS to a grounded outlet only.

The UPS has its own internal power source (batteries).
The UPS output receptacles may be energized even if the UPS is not plugged into a building electrical outlet. -
To completely turn off the UPS, first press the Standby switch, then disconnect the power cord.
MAINTENANCE, SERVICE, AND FAULTS
- The UPS is operating at dangerous voltages. Repairs should only be performed by qualified service personnel.
- Attention – the risk of electric shock. Even if the unit is disconnected from the mains (building socket), components inside the UPS are still connected to the battery and are still electrically energized, and are dangerous.
- Only people who are suitably qualified and familiar with the relevant safety precautions are allowed to replace the batteries. Batteries can cause electric shock and have a high short circuit current.

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
DISPLAY PANEL
The UPS power control and operation indicators are located on the front
display panel.
ON/ENTER BUTTON
Turning on the UPS: Press and hold the button for more than 0.5 seconds to
turn on the UPS.
Entering the setting menu: Press this button to enter the setting menu.
Enter: Press this button to confirm the selection in the setup menu.
OFF/ESC BUTTON
Turning off the UPS: Press and hold the button for more than 0.5 seconds to
turn off the UPS.
Esc key: Press this button to exit the settings menu or cancel the settings.
UP BUTTON
Press this button to select the top menu item or the previous page on the
screen or increase the setting value.
DOWN BUTTON
Press this button to select a lower menu item or the next page on the screen
or to decrease a setting value.
