General information

  • Read the instructions for use carefully and keep them safe. If you give this device to other people, please also pass on this manual.
  • Only use this device in accordance with the instructions in this user manual.
  • This device is intended for domestic or similar use, not for professional use.
  • WARNING! Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may become dangerous playing material for children. Risk of suffocation!
  • DANGER because small parts may be swallowed. The cleaning brush is a small part that could be swallowed. Keep this away from children under the age of 36 months.

General Safety information and instructions

  • Only use the device for its intended purpose.
  • Improper use of the device could damage the product.
  • The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
  • Keep children under strict supervision to prevent them from using the device as a toy.
  • Do not allow unsupervised children to clean or maintain this device.
  • Prior to use, check the device for visible external damage. Never operate the device if it is damaged.
  • Do not place the device under any mechanical stress.
  • Please handle the device carefully. Jolts, impacts or falls, even from a low height, can damage the device.
  • Do not use or store the device in an environment subject to strong static electricity or magnetic fields.
  • Do not use the device in the vicinity of flammable materials.
  • Do not use the device in the immediate vicinity of heat sources such as naked flames (hobs, for example).
  • Do not expose the device to direct sunlight, heat sources, excessive humidity or corrosive environments.
  • Do not use the device near or in water.
  • Do not use the device if it has fallen into water or any other liquid; if liquid has been spilled or if it has been exposed to rain or moisture.
  • The warranty will expire immediately if the device is damaged as a result of not observing this user manual. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by non-compliance with the user manual, or negligent use or use that does not comply with the conditions of this user manual.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the device.
  • Do not use foreign objects to clean the device.
  • Do not use the device if there are visible signs of damage.
  • Do not use the device if it has been dropped or does not operate normally.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device or modify it in any manner.
  • The device does not contain any parts which can be serviced by the user.
  • Only allow repairs to be carried out by a qualified service center. Qualified service center: after-sales department of the manufacturer or store, which is recognized and authorized to carry out such repairs, so that potential hazards can be prevented. If problems are encountered with the device, please return it to this department.
  • WARNING! To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen to high volumes for long periods.
  • Use the device with caution, as it will impair your ability to hear surrounding sounds.
  • If you have a pacemaker or any other electrical medical device, consult your physician before using this device.
  • WARNING! The device contains magnets that may interfere with medical devices.

Batteries, electricity & heat

  • The device’s rechargeable battery should be charged for ± 1.5 hours before using the device for the first time.
  • Make sure your hands are dry before touching the device or charging cable.
  • When plugging in the charging cable, make sure people cannot accidentally pull it out or trip over it.
  • Never leave the device to charge unattended.
  • Regularly check the charging cable for damage.
  • Do not charge the device if the charging cable shows signs of damage.
  • Make sure the charging cable cannot be trodden on or pinched.
  • Do not allow the charging cable to hang over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects and naked flames.
  • Remove the charging cable from the device and the power adapter from the electrical outlet during lightning and storms.
  • Make sure that the device and charging cable do not come into contact with heat sources, such as hotplates or naked flames.
  • Once charging has been completed, always disconnect the charging cable from the device.
  • The use of an extension cable is not recommended.
  • Do not attempt to charge the device when the battery is damaged.
  • Close the charging case when you store or charge the earphones.
  • To reduce or prevent the risk of personal injury, electrical shock, fire or damage to the device, never insert metal objects in any opening of the USB charging port or any other openings or ports.
  • The rechargeable batteries are built into the device and cannot be replaced.
  • **WARNING!** Do not open the casing as this may result in electric shock!
  • WARNING! To avoid the risk of electric shocks, never immerse the device in water or any other liquid. And do not use it again if this happens.
  • Do not crush, puncture or dismantle the device; this might damage the battery.
  • WARNING! Damaging the casing and/or piercing the device, can lead to an explosion or fire!
  • WARNING! To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, protect the device from dripping or splashing water and keep away from objects filled with liquids, such as vases. Such objects should not be placed on or near the device.
  • Do not use the device in temperatures that fall below -10 °C or exceed 40 °C.
  • Battery cells can leak under extreme conditions. Wear protective gloves when handling leaked batteries and dispose of the gloves after use. If the battery leaks, do not allow any battery fluid to come into contact with your skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
  • WARNING! Do not throw the device into a fire, as it may explode!
  • Do not dispose of the device in your household waste. Take it to your local recycling station. Contact your local government offices for details.
  • WARNING! Never cover the power adapter, charging cable or device with cloths, curtains or any other material in order to prevent overheating and potential fire hazards.

Before use
Open the packaging carefully before taking out the device. Make sure the device is complete and undamaged. If any components are missing or damaged, contact the vendor and do not use the product. Retain the packaging or recycle it in accordance with local regulations.
Before use, it is advised to clean the device thoroughly with a soft dry cloth.

Charging the earphones:

  • Carefully plug the USB type-c connector of the charging cable into the device’s charging port A.
  • Plug the USB connector of the charging cable into the USB port of your computer or USB charger.
  • The charging LED indicator C flashes when the device is charging.
  • Once charging is completed, the charging LED indicator C lights up and the device automatically stops charging.
  • Unplug the charging cable from the device, which is now ready for use.
  • If the battery level is low, the bottom light of the charging LED indicator B will flash blue, indicating the battery needs to be recharged.
  • The charging LED indicator C has 4 lights. Each light represents 25% of the battery.

Charging the earphones

  • Put earphones D into charging case B, respecting the L and R markings on the earphones and charging case. The magnetic charging ports H will make contact automatically and earphones D will start charging.
  • When charging, the earphone LED indicators E light up red. Once the earphones are fully charged, the earphone LED indicators E switch off and stop charging automatically.
  • If the earphones’ battery is low, you will hear a ‘tone’ and the earphone LED indicator E will flash red.

Powering the device ON/OFF

  • Once you take earphones D out of the charging case B, they will automatically power ON.
  • When the earphones do not have a BT connection for ± 3 minutes, they will automatically switch OFF.
  • You can power the earphones back ON, by briefly putting them back in the charging case and taking them out again.
  • You can also manually switch the earphones ON by touching and holding the touch button G for ± 2 seconds.
  • Once powered ON, you will hear a ‘tone’ & the earphone LED, indicator E will flash blue/red alternately, indicating that the device is in pairing mode.
  • In case the device has already been paired, it will connect automatically to the BT-enabled appliance, and the earphones. LED indicator E will flash blue slowly.
  • To power OFF the earphones, put them back in the charging case. You can also manually switch OFF the earphones by touching and holding the touch button G for ± 5 seconds. You will hear a ‘tone’ & the earphone LED indicator E will light red and then turn off.

Making a BT connection (BT pairing):

  • Take the earphones out of the charging case, they will automatically power ON.
  • A ‘tone’ will be heard and the earphone LED indicators E will flash blue/red alternately. The devices are now in pairing mode.
  • Keep the device and your BT-enabled appliance within 1 meter (3 ft) of each other during the BT pairing process.
  • Make your mobile phone, tablet or other BT-enabled appliance to search for compatible BT devices. (Make sure the BT function is turned ON).
  • When your BT-enabled appliance finds the device, select ”DOSV-TWS04” from the list of found devices.
  • A ‘tone’ will sound to indicate successful pairing. The earphone LED indicator light E will stop flashing blue/red alternately. and will flash blue slowly.
  • If a paired BT-enabled appliance is in range, the device will connect automatically.
  • The two earphones will pair automatically with each other.
  • You cannot pair the earphones when they are placed in the charging case.
  • When the earphones do not have a BT connection for ± 3 minutes, they will automatically switch OFF
  • You can power them back ON, by briefly putting them back in the charging case.
  • You can also manually switch the earphones ON by touching and holding the “touch button” G for ± 2 seconds on BOTH earphones.

NOTE!
If you would like to connect the device to another BT-enabled appliance, you must first disconnect it from the active paired BT-enabled appliance. Go to your BT-enabled appliance’s BT settings, select “DO-SV-TWS04”, and select “disconnect” or “unpair”. You can also simply switch off the BT function. When the device has been unpaired and/or does not have an active paired BT connection, repeat the pairing process with the (new) BT-enabled appliance you want to connect to the device.

NOTE!
The left & right earphones are already paired successfully, by default. When you use the device, just take them out of the charging case and they will turn ON and pair (left and
right) automatically.

Controls
Listening to music:
If you want to play and/or pause music from your connected BT-enabled appliance, open your media player and press play/ pause.
Control the play/pause, volume up/down, previous track/next track functions on your BT-enabled appliance or with the “touch button” G of the device.

  • Touch the “touch button” G once: play/pause (for both earphones).
  • Touch the “touch button” G twice: LEFT earphone for volume down & RIGHT earphone for volume up.
  • Touch the “touch button” G three times: LEFT earphone for the previous track & RIGHT earphone for the next track.
  • Touch the “touch button” G for 3 seconds: wake up voice commands (for both earphones). (“Hey Google” or “Siri”, etc).

Calling
Incoming and ongoing calls can be controlled as normal on your mobile phone or with the “touch button” G of the device.

Note! If you were listening to music, the music will stop playing when receiving an incoming call. When you end the call, the music will resume automatically.
Note! The device does support the functions of cellular calls. It does not automatically support calling/video applications.

Exchanging the ear tips
If the original ear tips do not fit your ear properly, you can exchange them with the extra ear tip set (small or large). To exchange, carefully remove the ear tips from the earphones. Respecting the shape of the ear tips and earphones, place the ear tip over the earbud and push down to secure in place properly.
Note! Only use the ear tips provided with the device.

Troubleshooting:

“My left & right earphones do not connect automatically with each other”

  • Put the 2 earphones back in the charging case. Take the earphones out of the charging case again so they will pair automatically with each other.
  • Make sure both earphones are charged before use.
  • Please note that when the earphones do not have a BT connection for ± 3 minutes, they automatically switch OFF.

“My BT-enabled appliance is not able to pair with the device”

  • Make sure the device is turned ON before beginning the BT pairing process.
  • Keep the device and your BT-enabled appliance within 1 M (3 ft) of each other during the BT pairing process.
  • Make sure the BT feature on your BT-enabled appliance is activated.
  • Make sure no other BT-enabled appliance is connected to the device.

“I can pair my BT-enabled appliance with the device, but I cannot hear any music”

  • Activate the volume on your connected BT-enabled appliance.
  • Make sure your BT-enabled appliance supports the BT A2DP profile.

“I cannot get the device into BT pairing mode”

  • Make sure the device is turned “ON” before beginning the BTpairing process.
  • Repeat the steps described in detail under “Making a BT connection (BT Pairing)”

Cleaning the device
Proper and regular cleaning will ensure safe operation and extend the lifespan of the device.

  • Use a damp cloth to remove dirt from the device and dry with a dry cloth.
  • Do not clean the device with strong chemicals – or alkali-based, abrasive, or disinfecting agents – because they could damage the surface of the product.
  • Do not immerse the device in water or any other liquids.
  • Store in a dry place.
