cooler 7L (hereinafter referred to as ‘device’)
Read the user manual carefully before the operation
General information

Carefully read the instructions for use and store them in a safe location. If you give this device to other people, please also pass on this manual.

Do not place the device under any mechanical stress.

Please handle the device carefully. Jolts, impacts, or falls, even from a low height, can damage the device.

Prior to using, check the device for visible external damage. Never operate the device if it is damaged.

Electricity, batteries, and heat

Prior to use, check that the mains voltage is the same as the mains voltage stated on the nameplate of the device.

WARNING! Do not plug anything else into the same electricity circuit or power wall socket. If unsure your home meets this specification, consult a certified electrician prior to the use of this device. Risk of fire, overheating, malfunction, property damage, injury, or even death may result from not adhering to this instruction!

Do not use the device outdoors. Exposure to outdoor elements such as rain, snow, sun, wind, or extreme temperatures may cause the device to become a safety hazard.

WARNING! DO NOT COVER: Do not allow foreign objects to enter or block any ventilation, air inlet, or air outlet, openings and never cover the device with cloths or curtains, or any other material, as this may cause electric shock, overheating fire, or damage to the device.

Make sure your hands are dry before touching the device or power plug.

Do not use the device if it has a damaged power plug, or if it has become faulty, has fallen, or become damaged in any way. Deliver the device to the manufacturer or the closest qualified service centre for inspection or repair.

Only connect the device to an easily accessible power socket, so you can quickly pull the plug out of the power socket in case of emergency.

The device must only be powered by connecting the plug to the power socket.

Do not use any extension cables or socket strips to power the device.

When plugging in the power plug, make sure people cannot accidentally pull it out or trip over it.

Make sure the power cord cannot be trodden on or pinched.

When removing the plug from the power socket, pull the plug itself, not the cable.

Switch OFF the device and disconnect it from the power socket in case you discover any faults during use, find any signs of damage, or if it is not in use or is being cleaned.

Do not crush, puncture or dismantle the device; this might damage the device.

Disconnect the device from the power socket during lightning storms or if it will not be used for long periods of time.

Do not operate the device using an external time switch or a separate remote control system.

Before cleaning the device, always disconnect it from the power socket.

Do not open the casing as this may result in electric shock.

Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid, to avoid the risk of electric shocks.
Do not touch the device if it has fallen into the water. Disconnect the device from the power socket with the device switched OFF and do not use it again. -
Ensure that the device does not come into contact with heat sources, such as a hot hob or naked flame.

WARNING! To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, protect the device from dripping or splashing water, and keep it away from objects filled with liquids such as vases.
Such objects should not be placed on or near the device. -
The battery of the remote control can be replaced.

Do not place the remote control close to products that become hot.
-
If the battery leaks, do not allow any battery fluid to come into contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.

Keep batteries out of reach of children.

Do not short-circuit the contacts inside the battery compartment or any batteries.
-
Do not crush, puncture, or dismantle the device, otherwise, the batteries might get damaged.

Do not dispose of the remote control in a fire because the battery could explode.
-
Do not expose the device, remote control, and batteries to excessive heat sources like fire.
-
Do not dispose of the device remote control in your household waste, as it contains batteries. Batteries can be disposed of by taking them to your local recycling station.
Contact your local government offices for details.
Important information, always follow these instructions for safety
- This device can be used by children aged 8 and over and people with restricted physical, sensory, or mental capacity or a lack of experience and expertise, provided they are under supervision or have been given instructions on the safe use of the device and are aware of the potential hazards. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance must not be done by children unless they are over the age of 8 and under supervision.
- Only use the device indoors, in dry areas, and not in the vicinity of water or any other liquids.
- WARNING! This device is NOT intended to be used in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar humid indoor locations.
- Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid. This can cause a fatal electric shock!
- Switch OFF the device and disconnect it from the power socket when the device is not in use or is being cleaned.
- Check the device regularly for damage.
- Never use the device if the power plug shows signs of damage if the device has fallen to the ground or has any other signs of damage. In such cases, take the device to an expert for inspection and have it repaired if necessary.
- Never allow children to use the device without supervision. Children are unable to judge the hazards associated with incorrectly using electric devices.
- Children in the vicinity of the device must always be supervised by an adult.
- Never leave the device unattended whilst it is in use.
- Keep the device air inlets clean so they cannot become blocked with dust or other particles, thus preventing overheating and malfunction.
INSTALLING AND USING THE DEVICE
First use
Open the packaging carefully before taking out the device. Make sure the
device is complete and undamaged. If any components are missing or damaged,
contact the vendor and do not use the product. Retain the packaging or recycle
it in accordance with local regulations.
- Remove all packaging from the device.
- Clean the device with a damp cloth. Please refer to the ‘cleaning and maintenance section.
- Continue with the procedure in the ‘using the device’ section.
Mounting the castors
Before using the device, the 4 castors need to be mounted on the device.
- Spread a soft cloth or mat on the floor.
- Carefully place the device upside down on the cloth or mat.
- Insert each castor by pushing the pin in the hole of the device.
- Make sure the pins are fully inserted into the device.
Using the device
Place the device on a firm and solid surface, in an area with at least 50 cm
of free space around the device, generating proper air circulation.
Do not operate the device close to walls, curtains, or other objects that
might block the air inlets and air outlets, resulting in bad air
circulation.

Remote control
The remote control has a pre-installed lithium CR2025 battery.
Remove the protective tab to activate the remote control battery.
Inserting/replacing the remote control battery:
- Push the security lock.
- Pull out the battery tray and remove the old battery.
- Place a new CR2025 battery into the battery tray with the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.
- Place the battery tray back in the slot.
Modes
Power ON/OFF
Connect the device to an easily accessible power socket. When connected, the
power LED indicator on the control panel lights up, and a beep sounds.
Press the power ON/OFF button on device 1 or remote control A to switch on the
device. While pressing, a beep sounds.
When the device is powered on, it starts at medium FAN speed, after 3 seconds
it changes to low speed.
When switching on the device it automatically starts in Normal mode.
To switch off the device, press the power ON/OFF button on device 1 or remote
control A again. A beep sounds. The power LED stays illuminated on the control
panel.
FAN mode
You can ventilate your room. In this mode the air is circulated, creating a
‘breeze feeling’, but the room will not be cooled.
Press the FAN button on device 6 or remote control F until the LED indicator
lights up on the control panel.
You can select the required FAN speed as described in “FAN speed”
FAN speed
When the device is powered on, it automatically starts at medium speed, and
after 3 seconds it automatically switches to low speed.
Repeatedly press the fan Speed button on device 4 or remote control B until
the required FAN speed has been selected. There are 3 selectable FAN speeds;
low, medium & high speed.
While pressing, a beep sounds, and the selected FAN speed is indicated on the
control panel.
FAN airflow
The device has 3 selectable mode functions: normal – natural – sleep.
Press the mode button on device 6 or remote control F to select the desired
mode.
- Normal = regular fixed FAN speed (speed is selectable: low – medium – high)
- Natural wind = varying FAN speeds, giving a natural wind breeze with some high-speed breezes.
- Sleeping wind = varying gentle FAN speeds, giving a natural wind breeze between low and medium speed.
While pressing, a beep sounds and the selected airflow LED indicator lights up
on the control panel.
Swing mode
To control the horizontal direction (up/down) of the airflow, adjust the
louver in the air outlet 2 by hand.
To control the vertical (left/right) direction of the airflow, press the Swing
button on device 3 or remote control D . While pressing, a beep sounds and the
swing LED indicator lights up on the control panel.
Cooling mode
Press the Cool button on device 5 or remote control C. While pressing, a beep
sounds and the LED indicator lights up on the control panel.
When using the device in cooling mode, the water tank needs to be filled with
cold water!
To achieve a longer cooling function, fill the ice packs with water and freeze
them before use.
Filling the water tank:
- Switch off the device and disconnect it from the mains electricity supply.
- Turn the lock 9 counterclockwise, making it possible to slide the water tank 8 out of the device.
- Add clean fresh water to the water tank (max 7L).
- Place the frozen ice packs 5 for extended cooling performance.
- Respect the MIN & MAX water levels. There is an indicator at the front of the device 10 & in the water tank itself
- Slide the water tank back in the device and secure it by turning the lock 9 clockwise, so it cannot be opened.
- Do not move the device while operating, to avoid water spilling.
Note!
- DO NOT OPERATE THE COOLING MODE WITHOUT WATER IN THE WATER TANK
- ONLY USE CLEAN FRESH WATER, AND DO NOT ADD ANY ADDITIVES!
- Do not use water above 40°C
Empty the water tank:
- Switch off the device and disconnect it from the mains electricity supply.
- Turn the lock 9 counterclockwise, making it possible to slide the water tank 8 out of the device.
- Remove the water pump in the water tank, by pressing the 2 tabs.
- Drain the water from the tank.
- Fully dry the water tank before placing it back in the device.
- Place the pump back in the water tank and make sure it is well secured in the clips.
- Slide the water tank back in the device and secure it by turning the lock 9 clockwise, so it cannot be opened.
Timer setting
The timer can be set from 0.5 to 7.5 hours.
Press the Timer button on device 2 or remote control E to select the desired
timer setting.
Each press will add 0.5 hours to the timer setting and the corresponding LEDs
light up on the control panel.
The timer sequence: 0.5 – 1 – 1.5 – 2 – 2.5 – 3 – 3.5 – 4 – 4.5 – 5 – 5.5 – 6
– 6.5 – 7 – 7.5 – OFF
Canceling the set timer
Press the TIMER button on device 2 or remote control E until all the timer
LEDs are switched off.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning
Before cleaning the device, always switch it OFF, and disconnect it from the
mains electricity supply.
Cleaning the air filters
It is recommended to clean the air filter monthly when using the device.
Dust collects on the filters restricts the airflow and reduces the efficiency
and could even cause damage to the device. The device has 1 air filter at the
rear.
The air filter requires regular cleaning and is removable for easy cleaning.
Warning! Do not operate the device without air filters in place!
It might contaminate the evaporator.
It is recommended to clean the filter by wiping it with a damp cloth.
In case the filter needs more extensive cleaning, remove it from the device.

Switch off the device

Remove the plug from the power socket.

Remove the 2 screws at the top of the filter.
-
Remove the filter from the device.
-
Use a clean rag to absorb the surface dust on the filter mash.
If the filter is extremely dirty, use tap water to rinse the filter. -
Fully dry the filter mesh before placing it back in the device.
-
Lock the filter by placing the 2 screws back in the device.
Cleaning the device
- Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning materials, cleaning alcohol, or sharp objects like hard brushes or knives.
- Clean the exterior of the casing with a damp cloth.
- Then dry the exterior with a dry cloth.

- The device CANNOT be immersed in water.

STORAGE & TRANSPORTATION
- When storing the device, it should first be cleaned in accordance with this user manual.
- Drain the remaining water.
- The evaporation in the device needs to be well-dried out.
- The device should be stored in its original packaging in an upright position.
- Always store the device in a dry and well-ventilated room and beyond the reach of children.
- Protect the device against vibrations and shocks during transport.
