Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Portronics Breeze Plus. This product is designed to provide high-quality music for your iPad, iPhone, iPod, computer, PDA, android and other smartphones. This instruction booklet explains the basic operation and care of the unit. Please read them carefully and keep for future reference.

Maintenance

Place the unit on a level surface away from sources of direct sunlight or excessive heat.
Clean your unit with a soft cloth moistened only with mild soap and water. Stronger cleaning agents, such as benzene, thinner or similar materials can damage the surface of the unit.

Using Bluetooth: Pairing Your Device

The button will twinkle when you power on, Now please turn on the Bluetooth function of your mobile/other devices. And start to search for Bluetooth devices, the “Breeze Plus” will be found, please connect it. When connected, the speaker will prompt “Device Paired” and the button will be white.

Bluetooth Music Playing
Please turn on the mobile or other devices music player, and the speaker will play the selected music.

Mobile Hands-free
Answer the call : Short Press the button to answer the call End the call: Short press the button again to end the call Long press * button to reject the call. Long press “+”button or “-“button to switch the call between the speaker and cellphone.

Disconnect the Current Bluetooth Connection
Long press to disconnect the current Bluetooth connection, the speaker will voice “device disconnected.Then other Bluetooth devices can find and pair ith the speaker.

TWS(True Wireless Stereo) function
Power on two “Breeze Plus” Speakers and keep them disconnected from any device, short press the 8 buttons of left side speaker, it will search right “Breeze Plus”‘speaker and After connected, the left speaker working state LED will flash,the right speaker TWS state LED will be on steady Bluetooth or using AUX IN cable to connect left “Breeze Plus” speaker. Once TWS connected, it will re-connect automatically when next power on, otherwise you can clear TWS by long pressing the 8 buttons.PORTRONICS POR-545 Breeze Plus 20W

Use the 3.5mm audio cable included to connect the speaker to an audio source (PC, MP3/MP4, mobile phone). Speaker will enter “AUX IN mode (the speaker will prompt “Aux in mode). Ihe speaker can play the music from the audio source.

Please Note

  1. When the speaker connect to the PC via the Aux In cable to play music. We suggest use the branded adaptor (5V 1A) instead of the PC USB Port to charge the speaker, as the computer’s power supply is week.
  2. Make sure the speaker is under Aux In mode when using this function.
  3. Short press the C button, the music will be mute on the speaker. But the audio source is playing the music.

Intelligent power-saving function
When the speaker paused, muted or without Bluetooth connection more than 20minutes, it will be automatically powered off.
Note : Please long press O button again to power on the speaker.

Charging the Unit
When the speaker with low battery capacity, the speaker will prompt “DUDU” ,Please charge the battery via micro USB cable included immediately.

Please note:
A.Charge the speaker via USB cable when the speaker enter into power saving mode, the power indicator will turn on white during charging and turn off when fully charged.
B.Using good quality power adaptor with 5V 1A, a full charge will take around 4-5 hours, if power adaptor is only 5V 0.5A, the charging time could be about 8-9hours.

Note : Low battery will affect the music sound quality, Please use the Portronics or any other branded good quality 5V 1A adaptor to charge the battery. You can use the Smartphone’s adaptor for charging.

WARNING/DISPOSAL OF UNIT

Please do not attempt to change the battery yourself. If the battery has permanently died and you do not want to replace your battery, you should follow the disposal instructions below:

  • Never dispose of used batteries/electronics with ordinary solid wastes, since they contain tOxic substances.
  • Always dispose of used batteries/electronics in accordance with the prevailing
  • regulations that apply to the disposal of batteries/electronics. If there are no local
  • regulations concerning battery/electronics disposal,
  • please dispose of the device in a waste bin for electronic devices.

CAUTION

  • The battery used in this device may present a risk of fire, explosion or chemical burn if mistreated
  • Never use or charge the battery if it appears to be leaking, discolored, deformed, or in any way abnormal.
  • Never disassemble the unit or attempt to remove battery as that could cause leakage of alkaline solution or other electrolytic substance.
  • Always confirm that the temperature is 5°C – 50° C before you charge the battery.
  • Leakage or deterioration of the battery may occur if this warning is not heeded.
  • Never expose the battery to any liquid.
  • Never expose the battery to excessive heat such as direct sunlight or fire.
  • Never use the battery pack in an unventilated vehicle where excessive internal temperatures may be encountered.
  • Always keep the battery out of the reach of infants and small children.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When used in the directed manner, this unit has been designed and manufactured to ensure your personal safety. However, improper use can result in potential electrical shock or fire hazards. Please read all safety and operating instructions carefully before installation and use, and keep these instructions handy for future reference. Take special note of all warnings listed in these instructions and on the unit.

  1. Water and Moisture- The unit should not be used near water. For example: near a bathtub, washboWI, kitchen sink, laundry tub, SWimmin9 pool or in a wet basement.
  2. Ventilation – The unit should be situated so that its location or position does not interfere with its proper ventilation. For example, it should not be situated on a bed, sofa, rug or similar surface that may block ventilation openings. Also, it should not be placed in a built-in installation, such as a bookcase or cabinet, which may impede the flow of air through the ventilation openings.
  3. Heat-The unit should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other appliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
  4. Power Sources- The unit should be connected to a power supply only of the type described in the operating instructions or as marked on the appliance.
  5. Power-Cable Protection- Power supply cables should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them. It is always best to have a clear area from where the cable exits the unit to where it is plugged into an AC socket.
  6. Cleaning – The unit should be cleaned only using a warm damp cloth. Do not use solvents, etC.
  7. Objects and Liquid Entry – Care should be taken so that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into any openings or vents located on the product.
  8. Attachments – Do not use attachments not recommended by the product manutacturer.
  9. Overloading – Do not overload wall sockets, extension cords, or integral convenience receptacles as this can result in a risk of fire or electric shock.
  10. Damage Requiring Service – The unit should be serviced by qualified service personnel when:
  11. the power supply cable or plug has been damaged.
  12. objects have fallen into or liquid has been spilled into the enclosure.
  13. the unit has been exposed to rain.
  14. the unit has been dropped or the enclosure damaged.
  15. the unit exhibits a marked change in performance or does not operate normally.
  16. Periods of Nonuse – If the unit is to be left unused for an extended period of time, such as a month or longer, the power cable should be unplugged from the unit to prevent damage or corrosion.
