INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Before fi rst use

- Place the juicer on a stable non-slip even surface.
- Connect the plug of the power cord to a suitable power socket (220-240 V).
Assembling the product
-
Insert the juice collector cup into the juicer as shown in the picture. Make sure that
the edge of the juice collector cup is level with the motor unit. -
Place the stainless steel strainer into the juice collector cup. Make sure that the strainer is fi rmly seated on the drive shaft. When seated correctly, the top edge of the strainer should be under the level of the top edge of the juice collector cup.
-
Cover everything with the lid and push it down into the correct position.
-
Use one hand to push the lid downwards and at the same time tilt the locking arm on to it so that the lid is secured in the correct position (you will hear a click).
-
Tilt the juicer slightly forward and place the pulp container into it – fi rst move the top end and then push down the bottom end towards the juicer.
-
Now insert the plunger into the hopper. Notice that to make movement easier, the hopper is equipped with a groove that fi ts together with the guide in the top part of the hopper.
Product operation
- Place a suffi ciently large juice jug under the outfl ow spout.
- Get ready to process ingredients. Thoroughly wash all the ingredients before using them. After washing them, cut excessively large pieces into smaller sizes. You will fi nd more processing tips in the section “RECIPES” (see further in the manual).
- Switch the control dial into position “1” or “2” depending on the type of fruit or vegetables being processed. For softer ingredients, use speed 1 (e.g. grapes, bilberries, melon, raspberries, tomatoes, etc.). For harder ingredients, use speed 2 (e.g. pineapple, celery, carrot, beet, apples, etc.).
- Place the prepared ingredients into the hopper and using the plunger, carefully start pushing down on to the rotating stainless steel strainer. Do not apply excessive pressure, juice the ingredients slowly; in this way you will achieve the maximum possible yield.
- During the juicing process the juice will go to the juice collector cup and the pulp is separated and collected in the pulp container. You can empty the pulp container while juicing – switch the dial to position “OFF” (off) and carefully take out the container. Before resuming the juicing process, return the empty pulp container back to its place.
- After processing the ingredients, turn the appliance off and wait until the rotating strainer comes to a complete stop.
ATTENTION:
This appliance is designed only for short term use. When juicing larger
batches, do not use this juicer continuously for more than 40 seconds and
always allow the juicer to cool down suffi ciently between the individual runs.
RECIPES
Before you start working, read the following tips which will help you achieve maximum yield and resulting taste when juicing and will also make work easier:
- Only use fresh fruit and vegetables as they contain more juice. Especially suitable are pineapples, beetroot, celery, apples, cucumbers, carrots, melons, tomatoes, oranges and grapes. Do not use overripe fruit and vegetables as the resulting taste of the juice would be ruined.
- The majority of fruit and vegetables (e.g. apples, carrots and cucumbers) do not need to be sliced up because they fi t into the hopper in one piece.
- With root vegetables (such as carrot or beetroot), always check before juicing that you have removed all soil, all tops and leaves, and that all the vegetables are thoroughly washed.
- All fruit with large, hard seeds or stones (e.g. nectarines, peaches, mangoes, apricots, plums and cherries) must have their seeds or stones removed prior to juicing. The stones would make the juice too bitter.
- There is no need to remove thin peels or rinds (e.g. apples, pears). It is only necessary to remove thick rinds (e.g. on oranges, pineapples and raw beetroot). Also, always remove the white pulp from citrus fruits – it has a bitter taste.
- When preparing apple juice, remember that its thickness depends on the type of apples that you use. The juicier the apple, the less thick the juice will be. Apple juice turns brown very quickly. You can slow down this process by adding a few drops of lemon juice.
- Fruit that contains starch (e.g. bananas, avocado and fi gs) is not suitable for processing in this juicer. Before adding this fruit into the juicer, process it using a mixer or a food processor.
- You can also process petals and leaves in this juicer, e.g. salad leaves.
- If you decide to store the juice in a refrigerator, do not leave it there for longer than a day. It may turn sour after this time.
- If you decide to freeze the juice, do not do this for a period longer than one month.
Tomato juice
Juice 1kg of fresh ripe tomatoes and serve immediately. To improve taste, add
celery tops and fresh pepper.
Apple juice
Juice 4 large apples with stems removed and serve immediately. You can combine
various types of apples to achieve various tastes. To achieve a sweeter taste
and an increased vitamin content, add carrot.
Island cocktail
Juice 1 medium-sized pineapple, 1 papaya, 1 large orange and 1 peeled guava.
Add 1 mango (process in a mixer). Serve immediately.
Carrot fruit juice
Juice 4 large carrots (wash with the top and bottom part removed) together
