TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE WARRANTY

  1. The manufacturer of the product, to which this document is enclosed, guarantees that this product is free from manufacturing defects. Products are considered to have a manufacturing defect if it is not possible to use them in accordance with their intended use and the reason for the faultiness results from the inherent properties of the materials.
  2. The manufacturer grants a guarantee for the products it manufactures for a period of 12 months, counted from the date of purchase confirmed by the Manufacturer or the Seller on the Warranty Card. The guarantee encompasses products stored and warehoused in closed and dry places and installed in rooms, where the relative humidity is less than 55%.
  3. Only the manufacturer or persons it authorizes are authorized to accept a complaint about a product or its element and to perform guaranteed repairs. It is necessary to present the original of Warranty Card, proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) and a detailed description of the product defect to use guarantee-related services.
  4. The manufacturer shall qualify the fault within 21 days counting from the day, on which the written complaint was submitted to the Manufacturer. Throughout the guarantee period, the Client is obliged to keep the packaging. If the complaint is recognized, the Manufacturer undertakes to repair the defective product free of charge (during the guarantee period) within the time limits agreed upon with the Client. If manufacturing defects, which are impossible to remove, occur in the products or three subsequent repairs prove to be ineffective, the Manufacturer undertakes to replace the product with a product, which is free from defects. The manufacturer shall not bear costs connected with transport, disassembly and installation if it is decided to replace the product with a new one.
  5. The Manufacturer’s guarantee responsibility is excluded in the following cases:
    • Interference of unauthorized persons (other than the Manufacturer or persons it authorizes) consisting in repairs and modifications of the product (whittling, drilling holes other than ones for handle fi ttings);
    • Changes in the structure of the product without the Manufacturer’s consent, such as a change of fittings, installing additional elements of joinery (excluding inserts and handles);
    • It is strictly forbidden to cut the door in their upper and lower parts.
    • Insignifi cant defects, i.e. ones which remain invisible after the installation or do not affect the usability value of the product.
    • Sale of cut-price goods;
    • If the Guarantee Card does not contain the Seller‘s stamp, the date of purchase and the Client‘s signature;
    • If corrections were made in the Warranty Card by unauthorized persons.
  6. Patent defects, which are visible at the time of purchase, should be reported within 7 days of the date of purchase, before the installation of the product. Complaints concerning the quantity, size and functions must be reported upon the acceptance of the goods or otherwise, the warranty will be void. The Manufacturer shall not be liable for the loss of, damage to or destruction of the product resulting from reasons other than its defects.
  7. In particular, the warranty does not cover:
    • mechanical damage to the product, which occurred during transport, while loading or a result of improper storage or installation;
    • mechanical damage to the product, which occurred through the user‘s fault or defects it has caused (e.g. damage to the veneer, scratches, cracks, dents);
    • discolorations, deformations and damage to elements that occurred as a result of swelling of the material caused by excessive humidity in the rooms or contact with water;
    • damage to the veneer outside the Manufacturer‘s control (e.g. resulting from the use of inappropriate cleaning agents, masking tape, etc.);
    • defective function of the product resulting from damage occurred as a result of fortuitous events, outside the Manufacturer‘s control, which do not depend on the conditions of use (e.g. fire, flood, etc.);
    • glass parts of the product for interior door leaves;
    • improper installation and use.
  8. The joinery must be installed in rooms after completing works, such as pouring the subfloor, plastering, tiling, and wallpapering. Before installation, the room must be dry to avoid swelling of the wood, MDF and HDF boards. Doors and door frames may not be exposed to direct contact with water. The joinery must be wiped using dry and soft materials. Acetone-containing agents may not be used to clean the glass panes.
  9. Installation conditions:
    • The humidity must be 40-55%;
    • The minimum ambient temperature should be higher than 10° C;
    • The difference in temperatures between two rooms separated by the door may not be higher than 10° C;
    • The moisture content in the walls, plaster and floors should amount to 12-14% with proper room ventilation;
  10. The manufacturer, as the guarantor, reserves the right to charge depreciation costs to the user, if a defective product has been qualified for replacement, but it also has defects that occurred during use, e.g. scratches, soiled areas or other mechanical defects.
  11. The Manufacturer’s liability for defects may not exceed the value of the purchased product.
  12. The Client is obliged to make the product, which is the subject of the complaint within the time limits defined by the Manufacturer for visual inspection and removal of the defects.
  13. To all matters not covered by the guarantee conditions, the regulations of the Civil Code shall apply.
  14. The guarantee for the goods sold does not exclude or limit the Client’s rights resulting from the product’s non-compliance with the agreement.
  15. All comments and complaints should be submitted at the place of purchase.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE INSTALLATION

  1. Compare the dimensions of the opening in the wall with the dimensions recommended by the Manufacturer.
  2. Clean and level out the edges and the surfaces of the opening in the wall.
  3. Place the assembled door frame in the installation opening, correct the errors of the initial setting, and immobilize it using installation wedges and expanding strips in the lower and middle parts of the door frame.
  4. Check and, if necessary, adjust the perpendicular and horizontal position of the door frame using wedges. After checking the correctness, depending on the type of the door frame and the selected method of installation, finally immobilize it in the wall.
  5. Check the way the door leaf opens and closes – depending on the situation, adjust it appropriately relative to the door frame, if it is not necessary, finally immobilize the door frame in the wall.
  6. Fill in the free spaces between the door frame and the wall using polyurethane-fitting foam.
  7. After installing the door leaf and checking its operation; the fittings should be adjusted, if necessary.
  8. Remove the expanding strips after the foam is completely dry in accordance with the time required, as specified by the foam manufacturer.
