every product sold.

use of this product and its operating options, this manual is offered. Please
read it carefully; it will help you to get familiar with the operation,
capabilities, and limitations of your product.

To ensure your safety and to prolong the lifetime of your product, please
take good care of it and have it checked and serviced on a regular basis.

Before use
3.1 Upon delivery
Unpack your product and verify if the delivery is complete. The following
items should be included:
- The lower frame (including 4 castors, of which 2 with brake);
- Upper frame (incl. angle adjustable table tray;
- Manual.
Verify your product for transport damage. If
you find any damages after delivery, contact
the transporter.
3.2 Intended use
- This table is used as a tray for holding various objects when lying in bed. The lower frame can be pushed beneath the bed.
- The maximum load of each tray is 15 kg.
- The table is meant for indoor use on level surfaces. When in use, check that all 4 castors touch the floor.
- It is not intended to support or transport goods or persons.
- The warranty on this product is based on normal use and maintenance as described in this manual. Damage to your product caused by improper use or lack of maintenance will cause the warranty to lapse.
3.3 Safety instructions
CAUTION: Risk of injury and/or damage
- Do not stand on the tubes of the lower frame, the table could tip over.
- Do not lean against or on the tray.
- Do not lift the table by the tray.
- Do not place any objects on the trays that are larger than them.
- Do not exceed the bearing capacity of the trays.
- Do not transport persons or objects using the table.
- Repair work may only be undertaken by an authorized dealer.
- Take note of the instructions for care and service. The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by improper servicing/care.
3.4 Shipping and storage
The shipping and storage of the table should happen according to the
technical specifications in §7. Make sure that the table is stored dry.
Provide sufficient covering or packaging to protect the table from rust and
foreign bodies (e.g. salt water, sea air, sand, dust).
Make sure no objects are stored on or against the table to prevent damage.
Assembly and adjustments
4.1 Assembly
- Position the lower frame on the 4 castors.
- Insert the tubes of the upper frame into the appropriate receptacles of the lower frame and secure it at the desired height by means of the wing nuts (minimum depth of insertion: 80 mm).
4.2 Adjustments
****CAUTION: Risk of injury
- The stability of the product is affected when the tray is adjusted (danger of tipping over).
- The tray should only be tilted so far that nothing will fall off.
4.2.1 Height adjustment
- Loosen the wing nuts on the lower frame.
- Adjust the height by pulling the upper frame up/down.
- Retighten the wing nuts.
4.2.2 Angle and length adjustment
- Loosen the lever beneath the tray.
- Pull the tray out horizontally, or adjust the angle.
- Retighten the lever.
Using your table
5.1 Operating the brakes
CAUTION: Risk of injuries and/or damage The brakes can wear. Check the
working of the brakes before each use.
5.1.1 Engaging the brakes [B]
- With your foot, press the brake plate downwards until it locks in place.
- Repeat for the other wheels. The wheels can now neither roll nor turn.
5.1.2 Disengaging the brakes [A]
- With your foot, press the brake plate upwards.
- Repeat for the other wheels. The wheels have now been released and can both roll and swivel.
Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
Use a soft, damp cloth and lukewarm water with mild soap to clean the table.
Avoid soaking. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents to clean.
6.2 Disinfection
CAUTION: Risk of damage Disinfections may only be undertaken by trained
persons. Consult your specialist dealer.
Use a soft, damp cloth and lukewarm water with a mild household disinfectant
to clean the table.
6.3 Inspection / Service / Repairs
The expected service life of your table is 5 years. The lifespan is influenced
by use, storage, maintenance, service, and cleaning.
Before you resume use of the table, it should be serviced according to the
following criteria:
- Completeness
- Adjustment functions
- Castors (stability, tracking, fixing screws)
- Fastenings and adjusting buttons: well secured (Condition, thread, holding security)
- The frame (deformation, stability)
- Tray (closed surfaces, splinters, tears)
- Damaged varnish (remove possible rust and repaint)
Repairs and replacements may only be undertaken by trained persons, and only
genuine replacement parts of Vermeiren should be used. Do not hesitate to use
the services offered by your specialist dealer. He/she will be glad to assist
you regarding any service and repairs.
6.4 Reuse
Before each reuse, have the table disinfected, inspected and serviced
according to the instructions in §6.
6.5 Disposal at end of life
At end of life, you need to dispose of your table according to the local
environmental legislation. The best way to do so, is to disassemble the table
to facilitate the transport of recyclable parts.
