SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance can be used by children, starting from the age of 8 and up. And
by persons with a physical or sensorly limitation as well as, mentally limited
persons or persons with a lack of experience and knowledge. On the condition
that these persons have received the necessary instruction on how to use this
appliance in a safe way and they must also know the dangers that can occur in
using this appliance.
Children cannot be allowed to play with the appliance.
Maintenance and cleaning of the appliance, cannot be done by children younger
than 8 year old.
This appliance is suitable to be in an household environment and in similar
surroundings such as :
- Kitchen for personnel of shops, offices or other similar professional surrounding.
- Farms
- Hotel or motel rooms and other surroundings with a residential character
- Guest rooms or similar
Attention: This appliance can not be used with external timer or separate remote control.

- Switch on/off (press for 3 seconds to switch off)
- unit : Convert between weight unit and temperature
WEIGHING

Strap the webbing belt through the luggage handle, and secure the hook of the belt onto the triangle ring.

Press on/off switch to switch on the scale before lifting (ensure no stress)

When display shows zero, you can start to weigh. If you press “unit”, you can choose between KG, LG, °C and °F.

Lift the scale gently. Make sure the scale is horizontal and balanced. LCD shows the weight of luggage.
Wait for weight reading to stop and stabilise, flash for 3 times and locked, you will hear a signal. -
To re-weigh: press to reset LCD display to zero.

The scale will automatically turn off, after 1 min. showing the weight
ROOM TEMPERATURE
Press to switch on the device, wait until LCD shows zero. Press two times on “unit” to see temperature in Celsius and three times to see it in Fahrenheit. Press again to revert the normal weighing mode.
TO REPLACE BATTERY
LCD will display “Lo” when battery power is low. Replace battery as follows:
- Hold the scale in one hand. The thumb and index finger of the other hand hold and press on the screw threads of the battery case and pull out the battery case (1) from the slot.
- Push corner A outswards to release the used battery.
- To insert new battery, slide one side of new battery beneath the retainer notch B & C. Press the other side of battery till it clips underneath the corner A. Ensure to observe the polarity as illustrated in the drawing.
- Insert the battery case back to the slot on the scale.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by manufacturer of its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
WARRANTY
This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures which are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The warranty will only be valid if the warranty application has been completed by the dealer at the time of purchase. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty.
