Intended Use
Before use, please read these instructions carefully and keep them in a safe
place for future reference. When passing on the appliance to a third party,
make sure to include these
instructions for use.
This appliance is only intended for boiling eggs. Never attempt to heat any
other liquids or foods in it. This appliance is only intended for private
household use!

General Safety Instructions
- The manufacturer takes no responsibility for any damage caused by incorrect use.
- Incorrect or improper use can damage the appliance and cause injuries to the user.
- Before connecting this appliance to the mains, make sure your local voltage matches the technical data of the appliance. Otherwise, the appliance may overheat and get damaged.
Caution! The danger of electric shock!
- Never put the appliance, cord or plug into water or any other liquid.
- Do not use the appliance near a sink or wash basin.
- Do not use the appliance with wet hands.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors.
An electric appliance is not a toy!
- Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- Always unplug your appliance when it is not in use, and before cleaning.
- Always pull the plug – not the cord.
- Keep the appliance and the cord well away from any hot surfaces to avoid any damage to the appliance.
- Make sure the cord may not inadvertently be pulled or cause anyone to trip when in use. Do not allow the cord to hang over sharp edges.
- Do not bend the cord or wind it round the appliance.

The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
Special Safety Instructions
Warning! To avoid the possibility of injury/damage to the appliance, electric shock, and risk of burns.
- Your egg boiler is only intended for boiling eggs. Never attempt to heat any other liquids or foods in it.
- Place the appliance on an even and heat-resistant surface.
- Never operate the appliance without water.
- Do not cover the water tray with any aluminum foil or any other material, this could lead to overheating of the appliance and may cause serious damage or may lead to injuries of the user.
- Do not place the egg boiler near any inflammable objects.
- Never exceed the max. water level indication inside the appliance (60 ml) to avoid any boiling water from spilling from the water tray. The danger of serious burns!
- Do not use the appliance without egg tray or lid.
- Never open the lid during operation.
- During use, hot team escapes through the steam vent on top of the lid. Do not touch or cover it when in use.
- Attention: The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high during operation. Therefore, do not touch the appliance during and/or immediately after operation. Only use the handle.
- Do not move the appliance during operation.
- Let the appliance completely cool down before cleaning.

Before First Use
- Remove all packaging material and check whether the appliance is complete.
- Fully unwind the power cord (7).
- Place the appliance on an even and heat-resistant surface. Do not place it on top of a metal surface.
- Clean the appliance as described under Cleaning and Care.
Warning: Plastic bags are a danger to toddlers and babies, therefore keep them away to avoid suffocation.
Operation
You may boil up to three eggs to your liking (soft, medium and hard) with this egg boiler.

Place the appliance on an even and heat-resistant surface.

Fill the provided measuring cup (8) up to marking indicating the resp hardness degree of the egg(s).
Adjust the quantity of water according to the desired degree of hardness and the number of eggs to be cooked. -
Pour the water into the water tray (4).

Remove the protective cover from the egg piercer and carefully, pierce the blunt end of the eggs with the egg piercer (8). Place the egg(s) blunt size down on the egg tray (3). This should reduce the risk of the eggs cracking during the boiling process.
Warning: Risk of injury!
Handle the measuring cup (8) carefully, as the integrated egg piercer (8) is extremely sharp. -
Place the egg tray (3) with the eggs properly onto the water tray (4) and close the lid (2).

Connect the power plug (7) to a properly installed wall socket.

Switch on the appliance by pressing the on/off switch (5). The integrated indicator light (5) lights up.

The water starts to heat up. As soon as the set time of the resp hardness degree has ended, a buzzer sound indicates that the water has completely evaporated. The indicator light goes off and the appliances shut down.
**Note:** The cooking process can be stopped any time by pressing the on/ off button. -
Press the On/Off button to switch off (5) the buzzer sound and disconnect the appliance from the mains (7).

Carefully, lift off the appliance lid (2) by its handle, hot steam might evaporate.

Lift off the egg tray (3) by its handle and briefly rinse the eggs under cold tap water. They are now ready to be served.

The times are only recommendations and might vary slightly.
Note: We recommend using medium size eggs.
Depending on the size, number, and freshness of the eggs, the results may vary
slightly. In addition, if the eggs are not removed immediately after the
boiling process has stopped, they will continue to harden.
Caution: Risk of burns!
During use, hot team escapes through the steam vent (1) on top of the lid (2).
Do not touch or cover it when in use. The egg tray (3) gets very hot during
use, therefore, only lift it off by its handles or if necessary use pot
handlers.
Dry-boil cut-out
Your egg boiler is equipped with a boil-dry cut-out, which will switch off the
appliance automatically, should it accidentally be operated without water or
by not observing the minimum water level. In the event of such a safety cut-
out, switch off the appliance immediately, unplug it and let it cool down for
approx. 15 minutes. Afterwards, the appliance is ready for use again.
Thermal safety cut-out
This egg boiler has a thermal safety device. In case of thermostat failure,
the electrical circuit has an automatic cut-out, thus preventing overheating.
If this should happen,
disconnect the appliance from the mains.
Cleaning and Care
Due to hygienic reasons clean the appliance best after each use, and remove
any remaining water or food residues. Not doing so could possibly result in a
hazardous situation.
Before cleaning, always switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the
mains and let it completely cool down.
Never immerse the appliance in water. Danger! Electric Shock!
Clean the body of the appliance and the water tray (4) with a moistened soft
cloth.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents and/or other hard objects to clean
the appliance.
Remove calcium deposits in the water tray (4) by mixing a solution of water
and vinegar. Wipe again with a moistened soft cloth.
Clean the lid (2), egg tray (3) under running tap water or if necessary in
warm water using some dishwashing detergent Dry all parts including the water
tray (4) with a soft cloth.
The accessories are not dishwasher safe.
DESCALING
Descale your appliance in regular intervals (approx. every 3 – 6 months),
depending on the frequency of use and the local water quality.
Never use any sharp, pointed or metal objects to remove limescale built up in
the appliance.
To remove limescale, use a common gentle descaler, which is suitable for your
appliance.
Put some of the descaler liquid onto a soft moistened cloth and apply it to
the water tray. Leave it on for a while and then remove it thoroughly with a
wet cleaning sponge. Make sure to dry it properly afterward.
Storage
After use, wind the power cable around the cable storage (6) and store the appliance in a clean and dry place and keep it out of the reach of children.
Disposal Instructions
Waste electrical devices marked with this sign must not be disposed of with
your household waste, but are to be collected separately. Therefore, please
return this device at the end of its life cycle to special collection points
for disposal or your local dealer.
** Your Egg Boiler 25304 is packed in a retail box.
Such boxes are recyclable waste, i.e. they are reusable or recyclable.

period of 2 years.
This guarantee is not valid:
- if the appliance has not been used in accordance to the instructions
- for damages due to wear and tear (batteries, etc.)
- for damages known by the customer at time of purchase
- for damages caused by the owner
This guarantee does not affect your statutory right, nor any legal right you may have as a customer under applicable national legislation governing the purchase of goods.
