KORONA 60000 Fan Heater Electric Outdoor Stand 
Read these instructions carefully before assembling and/or operating the appliance. Keep these instructions including warranty, receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. When passing on the appliance to a third party, make sure to include these instructions for use.
Intended Use
This appliance is intended for outdoor and household use only. It is not intended for commercial, industrial or indoor use. Other use not recommended may cause fire, electric shock or injury.

Important Safety Instructions
Warning! To avoid the possibility of injury/damage to the appliance, electric shock and risk of fire.
Danger of injury and damage to the appliance!
- Only use the appliance for its intended purpose, outdoor use only, and as described in this manual.
- Before connecting this appliance to the mains, make sure your local voltage matches the technical data of the appliance. Otherwise the appliance may overheat and get damaged.
- Make sure that the appliance is only connected to a rated IP external socket (earthed)
- The manufacturer takes no responsibility for any damage caused by incorrect use.
- Incorrect or improper use can damage the appliance and cause injuries to the user.
- Do not insert fingers or allow foreign objects to enter the grill/air outlet.
- Do not cover the air outlets of the appliance.
- Attention: The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high during operation. Therefore, do not touch the appliance during and/or immediately after operation. Only use the handle. The danger of serious burns! Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
- Do not use the appliance in areas where petrol, paint, explosive and/or flammable liquids are used or stored. Keep unit away from heated surfaces and open flames.
- Do not move the appliance during operation.
- Do not use the appliance inside the rooms.
- The appliance must not be left outdoors exposed to the elements for an extended period of time.
- Make sure the appliance is not placed near drapes, curtains, or any objects that may be drawn (including hair and clothes) into the appliance.
- Position the unit at least 1m away from highly combustible materials such as furniture, trees, leaves, dry grass and bushes.
- Never place or operate the unit where it could be subject to:
- Uneven surfaces, to avoid the tipping of the appliance during use.
- Mechanical vibration or shock.
- Directly above or below an electrical socket.
- Excessive dust.
- Always turn OFF and unplug the appliance when not in use and/or when moving it from one location to another.
Caution! The danger of electric shock!
- Never put the appliance, cord or plug into water or any other liquid.
- Do not use the appliance near a swimming pool, hot tub and other similar locations where it could fall into water or get wet.
- Do not use the appliance with wet hands.
- When using the appliance outside, make sure that it is protected from splash water and changing weather conditions.
An electric appliance is not a toy!
- Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- Always unplug your appliance when it is not in use, and before cleaning.
- Always pull the plug – not the cord.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Make sure the cord may not inadvertently be pulled or cause anyone to trip when in use.
- Do not allow the cord to hang over sharp edges.
- Do not bend the cord or wind it round the appliance.
Do not use the appliance,
- if the cord is damaged.
- in case of malfunction.
- if the appliance was dropped or is damaged otherwise. Have it checked and, if necessary, repaired by a qualified person/Customer Service. Never attempt to make any modifications to or repair the appliance yourself.
- Only use accessories evaluated for use with this appliance.
- Never attempt to drive any objects into the appliance.
- Never attempt to open the housing yourself!
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
Notes on Handling Batteries
Warning:
- Swallowing batteries can be extremely dangerous. Keep the batteries out of the reach of small children. Should a child swallow a battery, seek medical assistance, immediately.
- Batteries must not be recharged, taken apart, thrown into an open fire or short-circuited. Risk of fire/explosions!
- Always replace all batteries at the same time and always use the same battery type.
- Batteries can contain toxins that are harmful to your health and the environment.
- Always dispose of batteries in accordance with applicable legal regulations. Do not dispose of batteries with the normal household waste.

Remote Control Settings
- Operating button to switch between standby (P0) and heat mode
- P1 – Low heat (650 W)
- P2 – Medium heat (1350 W)
- P3 – High heat (2000 W)
- Timer setting (1 to 24 hours)
Each press – increment by 1 hour
Before First Use
- Remove all packaging material and check whether the appliance is complete and that all accessories are included.
- Fully unwind the power cord.
- Clean the appliance as described under Cleaning and Care.
note: If any items are damaged or missing, contact your dealer or customer service.
Transportation fixtures must be removed before first use!
Warning: Plastic bags are a danger to toddlers and babies, therefore keep them away to avoid suffocation.
Assembly Of The Appliance
Attach the base to the heater with the four screws supplied.
Operation
This appliance is only designed for outdoor use. Make sure that it is only connected to a rated IP external socket (earthed) and should not be operated by any means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
Make sure that the appliance is properly assembled before operation.
Always ensure that the appliance is unplugged from the power supply and
turned off before commencing with the assembly process.
****Adhere to a safety distance of at least 1m around the appliance.
Anti-tilt-switch
The heater is provided with an anti-tilt-switch which will switch off the
heater if it is overturned, and will be switched on again automatically when
it is restored to its upright position.
****Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
Replacing the battery of the remote control
Before first use of the remote control, remove the protective sheet from the button cell.
Only use 3V CR2025 button cell!

- To open the battery compartment, press onto the battery compartment lock and pull out the battery holder.
- Insert a new CR2025 battery with the + sign at the top.
- Re-insert the battery holder into the remote control. Make sure that the battery holder is properly inserted into the remote control.
Always remove the battery from the remote control if it will not be used
for a longer period of time.
Batteries and appliance must be disposed of separately!
Disposal Instructions
Waste electrical devices marked with this sign must not be disposed of with your household waste, but are to be collected separately. Therefore, please return this device at the end of its life cycle to special collection points for disposal or your local dealer.
Your Radiant Heater 60000 is packed in a retail box. Such boxes are recyclable waste, i.e. they are reusable or recyclable.
Disposal Instruction For Batteries
Standard and rechargeable batteries should not be thrown into regular household waste. As a consumer, you are legally obliged to return used batteries for proper disposal. You can hand in your used batteries at public collection points in your district or sales outlets where batteries of this type are sold.
Note : The codes below are printed on batteries containing harmful
substances: Pb = Battery contains lead

This product is guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a
period of 2 years.
This guarantee is not valid:
- if the appliance has not been used in accordance to the instructions
- for damages due to wear and tear (batteries, etc.)
- for damages known by the customer at the time of purchase
- for damages caused by owner
This guarantee does not affect your statutory right, nor any legal right you
may have as a customer under applicable national legislation governing the
purchase of goods.
In order to assert his/her right in a guaranteed case during the guaranteed
period, the customer must provide evidence of the date of purchase (receipt).
