WARRANTY
This appliance has a two-year warranty period. During this period the
manufacturer is responsible for any failures that are the direct result of
construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired
or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to
the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the
instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The guarantee is issued
with the original till receipt. All parts, which are subject to wear, are
excluded from the warranty.
If your device breaks down within the 2-year warranty period, you can return
the device together with your receipt to the shop where you purchased it.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance may be used by children from the age of 8 and up, and also by
persons with a physical or sensorly limitation, as well as mentally limited
persons or persons with a lack of experience and knowledge. But only on the
condition that these persons have received the necessary instructions on how
to use this appliance in a safe way and know the dangers that can occur by
using this appliance.
Children cannot be allowed to play with the appliance. Maintenance and
cleaning of the appliance may not be done by children, unless they are older
than 8 years old and are under supervision. Keep the appliance out of reach of
children younger than 8 years old. This appliance is suitable to be used in a
household environment and in similar surroundings such as:
- Kitchen for personnel of shops, offices or other similar professional surroundings
- Farms
- Hotel or motel rooms and other surroundings with a residential character
- Guest rooms or similar
Attention: This appliance cannot be used with an external timer or a separate remote control.
- Read all instructions before use.
- Before use, check if the voltage stated on the appliance corresponds with the voltage of the power net at your home.
- Do not let the cord hang on a hot surface or on the edge of a table or countertop.
- Never use the appliance when the cord or plug is damaged, after a malfunction or when the appliance itself is damaged. In that case, take the appliance to the nearest qualified service center for a check-up and repair.
- Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used near or by children.
- The use of accessories that are not recommended or sold by the manufacturer can cause fire, electrical shock or injuries.
- Unplug the appliance when it is not in use, before assembling or disassembling any parts and before cleaning the appliance. Put all buttons and knobs into the ‘off’ position and unplug the appliance by grasping the plug. Never unplug by pulling the cord.
- Do not leave a working appliance unattended.
- Never place this appliance near a gas stove or electrical stove or in a place where it may come into contact with a warm appliance.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors.
- Only use the appliance for its intended use.
- Always use the appliance on a steady, dry and level surface.
- Only use the appliance for domestic use. The manufacturer can not be held responsible for accidents that result from improper use of the appliance or not following the instructions described in this manual.
- All repairs should be carried out by the manufacturer or its aftersales service.
- Never immerse the appliance, the cord or the plug in water or any other liquid.
- Make sure that children do not touch the cord or appliance.
- Keep the cord away from sharp edges and hot parts or other heat sources.
- Before use, remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers.
- To prevent the risk of electrocution, do not use the vacuum cleaner outdoors or on wet surfaces.
- Only use the vacuum cleaner as described in this instruction booklet. Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
- Do not use the appliance when the plug or cord is damaged, when the vacuum cleaner malfunctions, when it has been dropped, has been damaged, has been left outside or has been dropped in water. In that case, take your vacuum cleaner to a service center for a check-up and/or repair.
- Do not pull the cord. Do not use the cord as a handle. Do not jam the cord between a door or do not pull it around corners or sharp edges. Do not run the vacuum cleaner over the cord. Keep the cord away from hot surfaces.
- Do not touch the plug or the vacuum cleaner when you have wet hands.
- Do not put any objects in the openings of the vacuum cleaner. Do not use the appliance when an opening is blocked.
- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and other body parts away from openings of the vacuum cleaner and from moving parts.
- Be extra careful when cleaning stairs.

PRECAUTIONS
- When the floor brush or tubes are blocked, turn off the vacuum cleaner immediately. Remove the blockage before turning on the unit again.
- Do not use the vacuum cleaner close to heating appliances or radiators.
- When putting the plug in the socket, make sure your hands are dry.
- Before vacuuming you need to remove all large and sharp objects from the floor, to prevent damage on the filter.
- When removing the plug from the socket, take hold of the plug and do not pull the cord.
ASSEMBLY
Always remove the plug from the socket before adding or removing accessories.
- Flexible hose: Attach the flexible hose to the air intake opening at the front of the vacuum cleaner. Push the hose until it clicks into position.
- Metal tubes: Attach the metal tubes to the handle. Attach the floor brush to the metal tubes.
- Accessories: Crevice/dust brush and small floor brush.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Before using the appliance unwind the power cord. Put the plug into the socket. A yellow marking on the cord indicates the ideal length for unwinding the cord. On the power cord is also a red marking, never unwind the power cord further than this marking.
- Press the on/off button to turn on the unit.
- To wind the cord, remove the plug from the socket en hold it while pressing the rewind button with the other hand. You need to hold the plug while rewinding to prevent damage during rewinding.
- On the handle that is attached to the tubes, there is a small slide button for extra suction control.
CLEANING DUST CONTAINERS AND FILTERS
Before cleaning your vacuum cleaner or accessories, always turn off the
appliance and remove the plug from the socket.
Dust container
- Take hold of the handle, press the silver-colored button on top of the dust container and gently pull the dust container upwards. The dust container slides out of the appliance.
- On the side of the dust container, there is a knob.
- Keep the container above the dust bin. Press the button on the side of the dust container. The bottom will open and the dust will fall out.
HEPA filter
You can now clean the HEPA filter inside the dust container. Round the HEPA filter is a protection screen, to prevent the dust from concentrating inside the HEPA filter. If you want to clean the HEPA filter, remove the top lid of the dust container, take out the HEPA filter and clean it under running water. Let the filter dry in open air before replacing it in the vacuum cleaner.
Air outlet filter
This filter will clean the air before leaving your vacuum cleaner. The air
outlet filter is situated at the back of the vacuum cleaner. Remove the grill
and take out the filter.
Clean under running water, let it dry thoroughly before replacing it into the
vacuum cleaner.
During a normal cleaning, it will do to just beat out the filters. You should
rinse the filters 3 to 4 times a year. Dry them completely or if necessary you
can also replace them. After cleaning and drying the filters, place them back
in the vacuum cleaner.
CAUTION:
- Always use the vacuum cleaner with the filters in place. If not, this can lead to loss of power or damage to the motor.
- Remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the filters.
- Do not place the filters in the dishwasher.
- Do not use a hair dryer to dry the filters.
