aqua LASER 49500 Air Cooler IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons. Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to operate or install the product.

• Do not carry the Air Cooler when filled with water. Some water may remain in unit even if tank is empty.
• Use only clean water. If needed, use distilled water.
• We recommend use only in dry locations.
• Before not using the Air Cooler for extended periods of time, empty the water tank, turn unit on, and set to highest fan speed for at least 4 hours. This will dry out the filter and inside of your unit.
• Only use the original power adapter and cord supplied in package.
• Do not touch the power supply or power cord with wet hands.
• This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and over and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and / or knowledge, provided that this is done under supervision and they have been instructed about the safe use of the device and they have understood the associated risks. The device is not a toy. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be allowed performed by children, unless they are 8 years or older and this under supervision is done. Children under 8 years of age should be away from it device and the power cord. Extreme caution is advised when an air conditioning unit in the proximity of children is used and when it is left unattended.
• The device can be switched off completely only when disconnected from the power supply.
• The manufacturer does not bear any responsibility for any damage from failure to comply with this product guide.
• Before using the machine, carefully read this entire instruction manual.
• Before using your new device, check it, including cord and plug, for any visible damage. Do not use a damaged unit, but send it back to your dealer for replacement.
• This device in not suitable for use in wet or damp spaces such as bathrooms and laundry rooms. Do not place the device in the vicinity of taps, bathtub, shower, pool, fountains or other sources of moisture. Make sure it cannot fall into water and prevent water from getting into the device itself. If, at any time, the device does fall into water, unplug it immediately! Do not use a device that has a damp interior but have it repaired. Never immerse the device, cord or plug in water and never touch it with wet hands.
• If possible, do not use an extension cord. If the use of an extension cord is unavoidable, then make sure it is an undamaged, approved extension cord. To prevent overheating, always fully extend the cord!
• Do not use the unit in areas where fuels, paint, flammable liquids and/or gasses etc. are stored.
• Do not place the device in direct sunlight. Do not use it outside.
• Always place the unit on a stable, horizontal and even surface.
• Ensure that the air outlet is not blocked. Do not place anything on or over the unit and do not position it too close to walls, curtains, furniture etc. The effectiveness and life-expectancy of the unit can be affected if the air outlet becomes blocked!
• Do not touch the unit, move/reposition it or hold it at an angle once you have filled it with water; this could lead to internal moisture penetration. If you accidentally end up with water in the unit, remove the plug from the socket immediately and remove as much of the water as you can. Leave the unit to dry out for at least 24 hours.
• Do not exceed the ‘MAX’ level when refilling the water reservoir; if the level drops to under the ‘MIN’ level, the unit will not work.
• Do not use the ‘humidify’ function in a small, enclosed space.
• Always remove the plug from the socket when the unit is not in use.
• Prevent foreign objects from entering the unit via the openings as this may lead to electric shock, fire or damage.
• Always switch the unit off and unplug it before:
  • refilling water
  • cleaning the unit
  • carrying out maintenance on the unit
  • touching or moving the unit. Use the handles for this!
• Do not use a timer or a similar product to automatically switch on the unit. Always perform safety checks before using the heater!
• The appliance (incl. cord and plug) may only be opened and/or repaired by properly authorized and qualified persons.

TIPS

• Place the Air Cooler on a raised surface such as a table, desk or counter top.
• Let filter absorb water for at least 3 minutes after filling tank and before use.
• You’ll feel the most benefit when sitting directly in front.

SET UP

1. Place the Air Cooler on a flat surface.
2. Use the filter drawer handle (D) to pull out the filter drawer and remove the filter.
3. Pre-soak the filter in water for the best results. For more cooling power, place the wet filter in the freezer until frozen.
4. Open the water tank door and fill with water. We recommend to use a measuring cup.
5. Plug USB power adapter into an outlet. Then, insert larger USB end of cable into the adapter and the smaller end into the power port on the back of the Air Cooler. NOTE: You can plug the larger USB end into a computer to power the Air Cooler as well.

USAGE

1. Set the fan speed by pressing button(B). You can choose from High, Medium, Low Mode. The indicator lights(A) next to the button shows you which speed the Air Cooler is currently running.
2. Choose your light color by pressing the button(G). You can choose between solid colors or a color-cycle mode.
3. When you’re done, press the power button again to turn off your Air Cooler.

NOTE: We recommend running the Air Cooler on HIGH mode for at least 5 minutes before powering off to allow for drying.

MAINTENANCE

We recommend cleaning the water tank and inside of the unit once weekly. Use only a non-abrasive cloth and mild dish soap when needed. Unplug the unit before cleaning.
