Dear customer, thank you for buying our product. Before putting the appliance into operation, read carefully these instructions for use and store this manual properly together with the certificate of warranty, a cash voucher and possibly with the package and the internal contents of the package.

SAFETY WARNINGS

  • Before the first use, read the instructions for use carefully, look at the picture and keep the instructions for future use. Consider the instructions for use as a part of the appliance and pass them on to any other user of the appliance.

  • Check whether the data on the type label correspond with the voltage in your socket.

  • The power cord plug has to be connected to a properly connected and grounded socket according to the EU standards!

  • Never use the appliance if its power cord or plug is damaged, if it does not work properly, if it fell down and was damaged or if it fell into water. In this case, take the appliance to a special service to check its safety and proper function.

  • This product can be used by children at the age of 8 years and older and people with reduced physical or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or if they were instructed regarding use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand possible risks. Children must not play with
    the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance by the user cannot be carried out by unsupervised children.

  • Keep the appliance and its power cord out of reach of children.

  • If the power cord of the appliance is damaged, disconnect it immediately from the power supply. The power cord must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service technician or a similarly qualified person to avoid an injury caused by the electric power or fire.

  • Always unplug the appliance from power supply if you leave it unattended and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.

  • Do not insert or take the plug out of a socket with wet hands and do not pull the power cord!

  • The appliance is intended for use in households only and for similar use
    (preparation of meals)! It is not designed for commercial use!

  • This appliance is not intended for outdoor use.

  • Do not use the appliance for heating a room!

  • Do not use the appliance with a program, time switch or any other part that turns the appliance on automatically as there is a risk of fire if the appliance is not covered or placed properly.

  • Never immerse the appliance into water or wash it in running water, except for the parts mentioned in the Maintenance chapter.

  • Let the appliance cool down before maintenance or storing it.

  • It is not allowed to modify the surface of the appliance in any way (e.g. using a self-adhesive wallpaper, foils, etc.)!

  • After finishing work, always switch off the appliance and disconnect it from power supply by taking the power cord connector out of the electric socket.

  • Do not switch on the pot without the inserted container

  • Never cook legumes (such as dry beans and lentils), always let them soak in water for ten hours before cooking (see instructions on the package).

  • Water or any other liquid cannot get into the inner part of the appliance, i.e. between the base and the internal container.

  • If the internal container is hot, do not immerse it into cold water or do not wash it under stream of running cold water! Sudden change in temperature could cause damage to the container.

  • Use plastic or wooden kitchen utensils for mixing and ladling meals as metal utensils may damage the surface of the internal container.

  • The appliance is equipped with the heat safety lock which disconnects power supply if the steam sensor fails or if an empty container is turned on. If it happens, unplug the appliance from power supply and let it cool down. Do not fill the pot with cold water in order to cool it down quickly. This could reduce life of the heating element.

  • Do not insert the appliance into any body holes.

  • Never put the appliance close to objects or under objects that can be damaged by steam,
    e. g. walls, kitchen cabinets, cupboards, paintings or curtains. Leaking steam could damage them.

  • Do not use the appliance in the environment that is saturated with explosive or flammable steams.

  • Do not place the appliance on unstable, fragile and flammable surfaces (e.g. glass, paper and plastic, varnished wooden plates and various fabrics/table cloths).

  • Use the appliance in the working position only at places with no risk of its turning over and in sufficient distance from heat sources (e.g. heater, electric/gas stove, cooker, etc.) and wet surfaces (sinks, wash basins, etc.).

  • When cooking, do not touch places where hot steam is coming out; there is a risk of burning and scalding.

  • When handling the container and the lid, use the protective kitchen gloves or a towel,

  • The lid is made of tempered safety glass. The glass is firmer and more resistant against breaking than ordinary glass. Tempered glass can be broken, but its splinters do not have sharp edges. Make sure that scratching of the glass surface is prevented.

  • Be careful when lifting the lid and always remove the lid away from your body.

  • Do not let any objects on the lid of the pot during operation (e.g. protective gloves, towels) that could cause covering the holes for steam outlet.

  • Do not carry the appliance when it is hot; there is a risk of getting burned and scalded in the case of possible tilting.

  • Use handles for carrying the appliance!

  • For maintenance or repairs, disassemble only those parts of the electric pot that are mentioned in these instructions for use. Never disassemble the appliance or its parts and do not replace them with other ones.

  • Use the appliance only with the power cord that makes up its part! If the power cord is damaged, never replace it with a power cord that is not of the same type.

  • The power cord must not be damaged with sharp or hot objects, open fire and it must not be sunk into water.

  • Never put the power cord on hot surfaces or do not let it hang over the edge of a table or a work top. Plugging or pulling the power cord e.g. by children can result in tilting over or drawing the appliance down and serious injury!

  • Check the condition of the power cord of the appliance regularly.

  • If you need to use an extension cord, it has to be uncorrupted and it has to comply with the valid standards.

  • Use the appliance only with original accessories from the producer.

  • Use the appliance only for the purpose it is intended for as specified in this manual. Never use the appliance for any other purpose.

  • The manufacturer is not responsible for damage caused by improper use of the appliance and the accessories (e.g. food deterioration, injury, burning, scalding, fire) and its guarantee for the appliance does not apply in situations when the safety warnings above are not complied with.

  • When the appliance is in operation, prevent pets, plants or insects to get in contact with

PREPARATION AND USE

Remove all the packing material, take out the pot and all the accessories. Place the pot on flat and dry surface (e.g. kitchen table) in the height of at least 85 cm, out of reach of children. (see par. I. SAFETY WARNINGS). Before the first use, wash the parts that will be in contact with food in hot water with a detergent, rinse thoroughly with clean water, wipe till dry or let it dry. Now the appliance is ready for use.

Assembly and useing
Assemble the appliance placing the container into the base. If the container is not installed properly, it will not switch the machine on. Connect the plug of power cord to power supply. Then follow the instructions below.

Model MFC 03

  1. Start/Stop
    Connect the power, you will hear the “beep” sound when the LCD is on, select the function you need, then press the “Start/stop “ button, it starts working. Double press this button, it stops working and returns to standby mode.

  2. Time/Temperature

    • Press this button once to adjust the time, and the time display on the LCD screen starts flashing. Then, press the”+”, “-” button to adjust the time. For each press, the time shall be changed for 1 minute. When pressing this button without release, the time shall be changed for 10 minutes. The maximum working hour is 9 hours 59 minutes.
    • Double press this button to adjust the temperature, the temperature display on the LCD screen starts flashing, then press “+”, “-” buttons to adjust. For each press or nonstop press, the time shall be changed for 10 degrees. The highest temperature can be up to 240 ° C, and the lowest temperature is 50 ° C.
  3. Keep warm
    Press this button, the keep warm lamp is on, enter into keep-warm status, the temperature on LCD display is 80 degrees, and the time is two hours. Press Start / Stop button, the keep warm lamp goes off, it stops warming and returns to standby mode. During keep warm process, you can adjust the temperature as your desire. After completed, it returns to standby mode automatically.

  4. Function
    It has eight functions on the menu, press the “function” button, it shall move in circle “slow cook” – “Hot Pot” – “Stir-fry” – “Boil” – “Deep-fry” – “Grill” – ”Fry” – “Steam” to select a function, Each press, you can select one function, the corresponding pattern lamp shall be on and starts flashing. Then press “Start / stop” button, it starts heating. The selected function lamp keeps on. During heating process, the time and temperature can be adjusted as your desire at any time. After the setting is completed, it returns to keep warming status. (When the specific function is selected, it can not be shifted to other functions, you can press the “Start/Stop” button to cancel the function and returns to standby mode).

Slow cook:
First, put the soup material or food directly in non-stick heating pot, and then close the lid, press the “function” button once, the indicator at “slow cook” flashes, press the “Start / Stop” button to enter into heating status ( the default temperature for this function is 100 degrees, default time is 6 hours). During the cooking, press “Time / temperature” button for adjustment as your desire. As soon as the working is finishes, it comes into keep warm status automatically. In order to retain heat and moisture, do not remove the lid,
Hot pot:
At first, fill the soup into non-stick heating pot. Press the “function” key twice, the indicator at “hot pot” flashes, press the “Start / Stop” button to enter into heating status. (the default temperature for this function is 220 degrees, time is 1 hour) During the cooking, press “Time / temperature” button to adjust as your desire. As soon as the working is finishes, it comes into keep warm status automatically.
Stir-fry:
Press “function” button three times, the indicator at ”Stir-fry” flashes, press the “start / stop” button to enter into working status (the default temperature for this function is 240 degrees, default time is 15 minutes) Pour proper amount of oil into non-stick pot, then put food in it, then stir fry the food to heat. During the cooking process, press “Time / temperature” button to adjust the setting as your desire. As soon as the working is finishes, it comes into keep warm status automatically.
Boil:
Put the food or rice directly on the non-stick heating pot, add the appropriate water, and then close the lid,
Press “function” key four times, the indicator at ”Boil” flashes, press the “Start / Stop function key Into operation, (the default temperature of 150 degrees, 25 minutes)
During the cooking, press Time / temperature key to adjust what you need.
When it finishes and automatically transfers to keep warm.
Deep Fry:
First heat the oil in the non-stick pan, pour the oil can not be too much to avoid oil spills into the frying basket. Press the “function” key five times, the indicator at “Deep fry” flashes, press “Start /Stop”function keys to enter the working state. Fill the food into the fry basket .(the default temperature Degrees to 210 degrees, 30 minutes of time) During the cooking, press Time / temperature key to adjust what you need. When it finishes and automatically transfers to keep warm.
Grill:
Put the marinated chicken or other food on the non-stick heating pot, close the lid and press the “function” key six times . The indicator at ”Grill” flashes, press the“ Start /
Stop”function key to enter the working state, (the default temperature of the function is 240 degrees, 30 minutes time). During the cooking, press Time / temperature key to adjust what you need. When it finishes and automatically transfers to keep warm
Fry:
Press”function” key seven times, the indicator at “Fry” flashes, press the “Start /Stop function keys to enter the work state. Then put the oil, add the food (the default temperature of the function is 200 degrees, 30 minutes) During the cooking, press Time / temperature key to adjust what you need. When it finishes and automatically transfers to keep warm
Steam:
Firstly, put the rack on the non-stick heating pot. Then add 2 cups of water ,make sure keep water below the rack, put the food and close the lid, press the “function” key eight times, the indicator at ”Steam” flashes, press the “start / Stop function keys to enter the work state, (the default temperature of 220 degrees, 15 minutes of time) During the cooking, press Time / temperature key to adjust what you need. When it finishes and automatically transfers to keep warm.

Model MFC 04

This model is equipped with a manual thermostat for setting the temperature. Temperatures for different cooking methods can be set according to model MFC03.
Turn on:
Turn the thermostat to the desired temperature, the appliance turn ON, heating indicator starts light. After reaching the desired temperature the thermostat switches off and the indicator goes out. During operation, this indicator turns on and off repeatedly, which is normal.
Turn off:
To turn off the appliance, turn the thermostat to the OFF position.

MAINTENANCE

Unplug the appliance from power supply by taking the connector of the power cord out of the socket before any maintenance! Clean the appliance only after it has cooled down!Clean the appliance regularly after every use. Do not use rough and aggressive detergents (e.g. sharp objects, peelers, chemical solvents, thinning agents, caustic agents for cleaning ovens or other solvents)! Clean the outer surfaces of base with a soft and wet cloth. Container never immerse into the water, just pour water into it and clean its interior. Wash all the other parts in hot water with a detergent, then wash them in clean water and let them dry completely (you can use a dishwasher). Never dry plastic mouldings over a heat source (e.g. heater, electric/gas stove). If the power cord is soiled, wipe it with a wet cloth. Some food can colour the accessories in some way. But this does not affect the function of the appliance and it is not a reason for a claim. This colouring usually disappears after some time.

ATTENTION
Take care that the binding surfaces and the sealing elements are functional.

Storage
Before storage, make sure that the pot and all its parts have cooled down. Store the pot at a safe and dry place, out of reach of children and incapacitated people.

ENVIRONMENT

If the size of the appliance allows, all the parts contain marking of the materials used for production packaging, components and accessories as well as for recycling. The symbols on the product or in the accompanying documentation mean that the electrical or electronic product used must not be liquidated together with communal waste. To ensure the appropriate liquidation take the used appliance to a collection point where it will be accepted free of charge. Correct liquidation of the product helps to protect valuable natural resources and helps to prevent a potential negative impact on the environment and human health which can be the outcome of inappropriate liquidation of waste. More details can be obtained from your local authorities or the closest collection point. Inappropriate manipulation of such waste can result in a fine according to the national legislation.
Maintenance of a serious nature or maintenance which requires interference with the internal parts of the appliance must be carried out by a professional service centre! By failing to follow the instructions issued by the manufacturer, the right to the warranty service will be invalidated!
