PREPARATION AND USE
Remove all packaging material and remove the pan with accessories. Remove all
adhesive foils, stickers or paper from the appliance. Wash all parts which
will come in touch with food in hot water with soap, rinse them thoroughly
with clean water and wipe dry or let dry before first use.
When using for the first time, grease the inner surface slightly with oil or
fat, set the turning regulator to 5, open a window and turn on the pan
(without any ingredients) approx. for 5 minutes, then let cool down. Short,
moderate smoking is not a fault.
Place the pan on an adequate flat and dry surface (e.g. kitchen desk) at least
at 85 cm from the ground and out of reach of children. Place the pan so that
its surrounding is without obstacles, insert the temperature regulator B all
the way into the socket A1 on the pan A while the regulation knob B1 is in
position Min. Plug the fork of the supply cord B3 into the el. outlet.
Put a sufficient amount of oil or fat into the pan. We recommend using a layer
of oil or fat up to 1 cm thick for optimal use.
Set the desired regulation level by turning the regulation knob B1 toward the
marking. Turn the regulation knob only in a range Min. – 7. degrees.
Overturning the knob by force could damage the regulation system. The heating
is indicated by an indicator light B2. The indicator light will turn off when
the set temperature is reached. The indicator light will turn on and off
during the food preparation which means that the thermostat maintains the set
temperature.
Set the regulation knob to Min. position after finishing the food preparation,
unplug the fork of the supply cord and only then disconnect the temperature
regulator from the socket on the pan with a lever B4.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR INDIVIDUAL KINDS OF FOOD PREPARATION
Temperature regulator (B)
- level 1-2 – maintaining the food in hot state (heating)
- level 2-3 – stewing
- level 4-5 – baking in
- level 6-7 – frying
Stewing
Fill the ingredients into the pan, up to three quarters of the side wall at
most. Set the regulation knob to level 2 to 3 and after the ingredient begins
to boil intensively, set the regulation knob to a position closest to
immediate switch-off – turning off of the indicator light. It is suitable to
use the lid during this kind of preparation.
Baking in
Fill the ingredients into the pan, up to three quarters of the side wall at
most. In case the ingredients contain fat, set the regulation knob to level 4
to 5 and lower the temperature when finishing baking. In case the ingredients
contain more liquid, set the regulation knob to level 5 and lower the
temperature with the regulation knob the closest to switching-off – turning
off of the indicator light when the boiling is intensive.
Frying
Select level 6 or 7 according to fat quality. After the indicator light turns
off, put the ingredients on the pan. When cooking ingredients repeatedly, let
the pan heat up again until the indicator light turns off.
Notes
If you are baking sweet food on the bottom of the pan, grease it with fat and
flour it.
The used fat must be changed regularly, not refilled, to avoid its
overheating.
When cooking or stewing we do not recommend heat processing of food without
fat or without contents of water.
When preparing food in the pan, use only wooden or plastic kitchen utensils.
MAINTENANCE
Unplug the appliance from power supply by taking the plug of the power cord out of the socket! Clean the grill only after it has cooled down! Always unplug the temperature regulator from the pan! The pan and the lid may be fully immersed in water (you may also use a dish washer). Wash the cooled-down pan in hot water as soon as possible after using. Do not use sharp objects (e.g. knives, scrapers, steel wool) or rough and abrasive cleaning agents with contents of abrasive substances. Wipe the temperature regulator only with a dry cloth. Dry the inner space around the input connectors thoroughly before plugging the temperature regulator into the socket again (after washing the pan in water)
