General safety instructions
Please read carefully these Operating Instructions. Familiarise with the control elements and appropriate appliance using. Keep the Operating Instructions for future reference.
Safe working
Keep the place of your work clean!
Mess in the place of your work may result in injuries.
Consider the environment influences
Do not expose the appliance to rain.
Do not use the appliance in a wet or moist environment.
Provide appropriate lighting.
Do not use the appliance near flammable liquids or gases.
Keep other persons in safe distance!
Do not let other persons, especially children, touch the appliance and the
cable. Keep them in a sufficient distance from the place of your work.
Store the appliance properly!
An appliance that is not used should be stored in a dry, locked place out of
reach of children.
Do not overload the appliance!
Work in the specified output limits.
Use the right appliance!
Do not use the appliance for purposes for which it has not been designed.
Look after your appliance!
Follow the maintenance regulations and instructions. Check regularly the
appliance cable and have it replaced by an authorised professional if damaged.
Check regularly the extension cable and replace it if damaged. Keep the
handles dry, with no oil and grease.
Be careful!
Pay attention to what you are doing. Use common sense when working. Do not use
the appliance when you are tired.

Appliance-specific safety instructions
**** Safety notice! Failing to follow these instructions can cause an injury to you or other persons.
- Read the following Operating Instructions for using the pneumatic appliance and follow the safety instructions for using the pneumatic appliance.
- ALWAYS wear approved protective glasses, earphones, a respirator and safety gloves!
- Disconnect the appliance from air supply if not used. NEVER replace any parts of the accessories or SERVICE them if the appliance is connected with the air supply.
- Ensure that your hands could freely move while working on the appliance to be able to execute the work safely.
- Use the appliance only at a speed for which it has been designed.
- Properly maintain the appliance and follow all instructions for appliance lubrication and maintenance.
- Do not damage the hoses and connecting pieces by carrying the appliance with its hose or by disconnecting the hose from the air supply by pulling. Prevent the hose from coming into contact with high temperatures, oil and sharp edges. The hose should be replaced if damaged or worn out.
- Use the appliance with allowable service pressure only. Higher pressure would shorten the service life of your appliance as a result of higher load.
- There can be sparks during the grinding process.
- Do not use any damaged grinding material.
- Do not needlessly use long pneumatic hoses to avoid tripping.
- Never leave the pneumatic appliance unattended.
- Never put the appliance near people or animals.
- Never aim at people or animals with the air current.
- Never put the pneumatic appliance near body holes – it can lead to injuries dangerous to life!
- Injury by stone.

**** Beware of the rotary tool!
Operation
**** Wear protective glasses! Wear earphones! Wear safety gloves!
Before everyday use, please empty the water from the compressor tank and blow
the condensation from the air hose.
If seal has not yet been applied on the pneumatic insertion wrap it with a Teflon tape (picture2 and 3)
- Start the compressor.
- Fix the required grinding shank to the pneumatic grinder.
- Connect the pneumatic grinder with the pneumatic hose. Caution! Do not exceed the maximum operating pressure!
- Start working by pressing the Start button.
Maintenance and treatment
Trained persons are allowed to execute the maintenance works only.
Following the mentioned instructions for maintenance is a guarantee for a long service life and trouble-free operation of this high-quality product. Disconnect the appliance from the compressed air source at maintenance and treatment. For permanent faultless operation of your appliance it is necessary to ensure everyday cleaning and regular lubricating. Use special pneumatic oil only.
You can choose from the following options:
Via mist lubricator
The complete maintenance unit contains a mist lubricator and is attached to the compressor.
Via lubricator on the piping
In the immediate vicinity of the appliance (in a distance of app. 50 cm) a lubricator is installed on the piping that supplies sufficient volume of oil to the appliance.
Manually
If your equipment has no maintenance unit or lubricator on the piping you need to add 3 – 5 oil drops to the compressed air connector before each putting the pneumatic appliance into operation. If the pneumatic appliance is not used for several days you must add 5 – 10 oil drops to the compressed air connector before starting the appliance. Store the pneumatic tools/appliance in dry rooms only.
You need to remove the air hose and pour in large volume of pneumatic oil to the air intake every three months or when the bar grinding machine is used only occasionally. Reconnect the air hose and let the bar grinding machine run for app. 30 seconds to enable compressor engine cleaning. Follow the lubricating instructions after cleaning.
Use as designated
The pneumatic straight grinder combined with suitable grinding material and following the technical specifications is ideal for grinding, bevelling, milling and engraving.
This appliance must not be used for any works other than for which the appliance has been designed and that are specified in the Operating Instructions.
Any other use will be considered a use in conflict with the designation. The manufacturer will not be liable for any consequential damage or injuries. Please be sure to know that the appliance has not been designed for industrial purposes.
Warranty
The warranty exclusively applies to material or manufacturing defects.
Original purchase voucher with the purchase date must be provided for lodging
a claim in the warranty period.
The warranty does not cover any unauthorized use such as appliance overload,
violent use, damage by another person or an undesirable item. Failure to
follow the Operating
Instructions or assembly instructions and ordinary wear and tear are also
excluded from the warranty.
Behavior in case of emergency
In case of accident, first aid kit must always be available in the place of
your work in accordance with DIN 13164.
Material taken out of the first aid kit needs to be supplemented right away.
If help is needed, please provide the following details:
- Place of accident
- Accident nature
- Number of injured persons
- Injury type
Provide necessary first aid treatment corresponding to the injury nature and seek qualified medical help as soon as possible. Protect the injured person against other injuries and calm him/her down.
Disposal
The disposal instructions are based on icons placed on the appliance or its package. The description of the meanings can be found in the “Marking“ section.
Transport package disposal
The package protects the appliance against damage during transport. Packing
materials are usually chosen depending on their environmental friendliness and
disposal method and can therefore be recycled. Returning the package to
material circulation saves raw materials and reduces waste disposal costs.
Parts of packages (e.g. foils, styropor®) can be dangerous to children. Risk
of suffocation! Keep parts of packages away from children and dispose them as
soon as possible.
Operator requirements
The operator must carefully read and understand the Operating Instructions before using the appliance.
Qualification
No special qualification is necessary for using the appliance apart from detailed instruction by an expert.
Minimum age
The appliance can only be operated by persons over 16 years of age. An exception includes youngsters operating the appliance within their professional education to achieve necessary skills under trainer’s supervision.
Training
Using the appliance only requires appropriate instructions by a professional or reading the Operating Instructions. No special training necessary.
