PREPARATION AND USE

HYUNDAI TB 578 W Electric Blender 01Remove all packaging material, remove the accessory. Remove all adhesive foils, stickers or paper from the appliance. Wash all parts which will come in touch with food in hot water with soap, rinse them thoroughly with clean water and wipe dry or let dry before first use. Put the hand mixer with the selected accessories on a flat, stable, smooth and clean work surface at the height, out of reach of children and incapacitated people (see par. I. SAFETY WARNING). Make sure that the power cord is not damaged and that it does not lead through any sharp or hot surfaces. Plug power supply fork A4 to the electric power and control light A5 will come on. Choose the amount of the processed food so that the maximum volume of the containers marked with the gauge line is not exceeded. Possible short-time mild smoke when the appliance is operated for the first time is not a defect and the appliance is not subject to a complaint for this reason.
On/Off switch (A1)

  • 0 – off
  • 1 – minimum speed
  • 5 – maximum speed
  • pulse (P) – pulse button (the motor is running at max. power the whole time the button is pressed).

Safety lock (A3)

  • It prevents starting the appliance if blending bowl B is not properly mounted on drive unit A.
  •  It switches off the appliance if the blending bowl becomes unsecured.

Assembling and disassembling the dish (B)
Insert the knife B2 into the matrix B3 and put the seal B1 on the bearing area of the knife. Put the dish B on the matrix and tighten thoroughly. Disassemble the dish reversely.
Attaching and removing the dish (B)
The dish B is fitted with arrest protrusions in its bottom part. Put the dish on the propulsion shaft A2 so that these protrusions fit into the three protrusions in the propulsion unit A housing. If the dish is not fitted correctly on the propulsion unit, the safety switch will not allow to put the motor in operation. Proceed reversely when removing the dish. Attaching and removing the lid (C) Push the lid C slightly into the dish B. Proceed reversely when removing the lid.
Attaching and removing the plug (C1)
Remove the plug C2 from the lid C by turning and pulling out. Insert the plug reversely.
USE Of THE BLENDER
Consider these following tips for processing examples and inspiration whose purpose is not
to provide a manual but to show ways of different food processing. From time to time, we recommend pausing the operation, turning the appliance off and removing parts of ingredients which have stuck on the knife or the dish, lid (see par. I. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS). The blender is intended for mixing juices, milk shakes, soups, baby and diet food, airy doughs, puree, etc. Pour or put the ingredients into the dish B and close the mixer with the lid C. Set the switch A1 to position 1 – 5 or use the (P) pulse button. When you have finished, switch off the appliance by turning the regulator to the 0 position (the appliance is OFF), then unplug power cord A4 from the electric socket.
Recommendation

  •  If you process more food, divide it into individual portions to prevent overloading of the drive unit.
  •  It is recommended to cut tough ingredients into small pieces. The (P) function is intended for crushing ice (max 500 g).
  •  Do not process very hard materials (e.g. coffee beans, nuts, etc.). The knife would be blunt soon.
  • Hard ingredients (e.g. legumes, soya beans, etc.) should be soaked in water before processing.
  • Never remove lid C when the drive unit is in operation.
  • Liquid ingredients (e.g. oil, milk) or other ingredients can be added to the bowl only after removing plug C1 through the small hole in the lid (when the motor is in operation). We recommend leaving the plug inserted in the lid during operation so that liquid ingredients do not splash out through the filling hole.
  • The longer you process food in the blender, the smoother the result will be.
  • You can also process hot liquids up to the temperature of 65 °C, e.g. sauces, soups.
  • In the case of liquids that create foam (e.g. milk) never fill the container up to the „1500 ml“ gauge mark to prevent overflowing. In this case we recommend the amount of about 1.0 l.
  •  If you are not satisfied with the result, switch off the appliance, mix the ingredients with a spatula, take some part of the ingredients or add a little liquid.
  • The preparation (processing) times depend on the amount, the kind and the quality of used ingredients, but as a standard they are in tens of seconds (about 15 to 120 seconds).

Note:
Maximum time of operation is 3 min., then leave the appliance rest and cool down for approx. 5 min. If you process big amounts of food, divide them in separate portions so that you keep recommended times of operation and rest of the propulsion unit.

STORAGE
After cleaning, store the appliance in a dry, dustless, safe place, out of reach of children and persons sui juris.

MAINTENANCE

HYUNDAI TB 578 W Electric Blender 01Before any handling, unplug the power cord from the electric socket. Do not use coarse and aggressive cleaning agents (e.g. sharp objects, scrapers, diluting agents
or other solvents). Clean drive unit with a soft and wet cloth with a little detergent. Clean all accessories in hot water with a detergent right after use (do not use a dishwasher). For easier cleaning of the mixer you can disassemble the assembled bowl. Be very careful when cleaning knive! Some ingredients can colour the accessories in some way. But the change does not affect the function of the appliance and it is not a reason for a claim. This colouring usually disappears after some time. Never dry plastic moldings over a heat source (e. g. heater, electric/gas stove). Store the appliance after cleaning at a dry, dust free and safe place, out of reach of children and incapacitated people.

  • Take care that the binding surfaces and the sealing elements are functional.
