Make sure other people using the product are familiar with these instructions.

IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  • Make sure the mains voltage corresponds to the values on the rating plate.
  • The iron is designed for domestic use in accordance with intended purpose.
  • Never put the iron in water or other liquids to avoid electric shock hazard and resulting injuries.
  • The filling hole shall not be open during operation.
  • Make sure the iron is disconnected from the mains before you start filling the water tank.
  • Use distilled or boiled water only for filling the tank. Do not pour any other liquid to the tank than water. Do not put any admixtures into the water. The internal parts of the product can be damaged.
  • Always set the iron at the minimum level when connecting and disconnecting from the wall outlet.
  • Use and store the iron on a stable surface.
  • When disconnecting the power cord from the wall outlet, never pull the cable. Grasp the plug and disconnect it by pulling.
  • The power cord must not come into contact with hot surfaces.
  • High temperatures occur during operation, which may cause burning.
  • Always use the handle. Notify others (especially children) of the possible risk of scalding by steam, hot water or the working surface of the iron, particularly when ironing in the vertical position.
  • Disconnect the iron from the wall outlet after use.
  • Check the power cord for possible damage regularly.
  • If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a competent person. This is necessary to avoid possible injury.
  • Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table within reach of children.
  • Store the iron in the vertical position standing on the rear surface of the iron. Let the iron cool down properly before storing. Do not touch hot surfaces.
  • Keep the product out of the reach of children.
  • When putting the iron on a stand, make sure that surface supporting the stand is stable.
  • Do not continue using the iron if it has dropped, it shows any traces of damage, or it is not tight..

FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

The product offers a number of functions, such as temperature control, misting, dry ironing, adjustable steaming, steam burst, and so on.
NOTE:

  1.  Make sure the iron is disconnected from the mains before you start filling the water tank.
  2.  Use distilled or boiled water only for filling the tank. Do not pour any other liquid to the tank than water.
  3. Do not put any admixtures into the water. The iron could be damaged.
  4.  Do not leave the iron unattended when it is connected to the wall outlet.

Water filling

  1.  Disconnect the iron from the wall outlet prior to filling with water!
  2.  Set the steam controller to the minimum position.
  3. Open the filling hole cover and fill the iron with water.

Ironing with steam

  1. To iron using the steam function, set the steam controller to the minimum position and the temperature controller to “.”or the “Max” position.
  2. As soon as the indicator goes off, set the steam controller to the required position. Steam starts to be released and you may start ironing.

Steam burst
Set the temperature controller to”.”or the “Max” position and press the steam burst button. The ironing surface releases a burst of steam.

Dry ironing
To iron without steam, set the steam controller to the minimum position and move the temperature controller to the required position.

Self-cleaning
Set the temperature controller to the maximum position. Press and hold the self-cleaning button for about one minute. A strong flow of steam is released, which cleans the steam chamber. Activate this function every two weeks.

Anti-drip function
This iron is equipped with an anti-drip function. The iron stops the steam function if temperature is set too low and water could drip from the ironing surface.

Anti-calc function
The anti-calc function is based on filtering minerals from the water used, thus preventing their deposit in the steam chamber.

Misting
Press the misting button to release water from the misting nozzle. A Sufhicient amount of water is required in the tank to activate this function.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Please read these instructions carefully before you start using the product.

  • Remove all stickers from the ironing surface and packaging material before you start to use the product.
  • Test the iron on a piece of old cloth before the first ironing to make sure that the ironing surface and water tank are perfectly clean.
  • Some steam may be released during the initial use. This will disappear in a few moments.

Setting the temperature
First identify the material you are going to iron (according to the international code of textiles). Textiles requiring lower temperatures should be ironed irst. continue with textiles requiring higher temperatures. Most textiles are marked according to this code.concept-ZN8012-Steam-

Storing the iron
After use disconnect the iron from the mains, empty the remaining water, set the steam controller to the minimum position, set the temperature controller to the Min” position, and let the iron cool. Keep the cold iron in a vertical and stable position in a safe, dry place.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Disconnect the iron from the wall outlet.
  2. Fabric fibers may remain on the ironing surface of the iron. Remove them with a coarse cloth dipped in a solution of vinegar and water. Wipe the ironing surface dry with a piece of cloth.
  3. Do not use abrasives or steel wool for cleaning the ironing surface. Keep the ironing surface smooth. Avoid contact with hard metal objects. Take care not to scratch or damage the ironing surface of the iron.
  4. Clean the external surface of the iron with a wet cloth and wipe it dry with a dry cloth.
  5.  Do not use abrasives or any strong cleaning agents that could damage the surface of the iron. Never dip the iron or any of its components into water or other liquids.
  6.  Do not pour vinegar or any other limescale remover into the water tank. When cleaning the steam ports use a soft cloth and remove lumps and dust from internal parts of the ports

REPAIRS & MAINTENANCE

Any extensive maintenance or repair requiring access to the internal parts of the product shall be performed by an authorized service center.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Packaging materials and obsolete appliances should be recycled. The transport box may be disposed of as sorted waste. Polyethylene bags shall be handed over for recycling.
