NOTE:
Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and programming.
NOTE:
The keypad is universal for both wireless and wired application. You can try
the wired application if the interference affect the remote control range or
the wireless code is not matching your gate opener. You must use external
wired power source to power up the keypad if you choose the wired application.

- Power input: 9VDC carbon battery for wireless application or 9-24VAC/DC for wired application

Installation of the Battery
NOTE:
A 9VDC carbon battery is required to power the keypad unless an external power
supply such as the gate openers’ power source is used. A battery has been
installed in the keypad in factory. You need to change the battery if the
wireless signal becomes weak. Low voltage wire from the external power source
must be connected to the 9-30VAC/DC power in terminals on the keypad control
board if the battery is not installed.
Step 1:
Remove the screw from the bottom of the keypad and separate the installing
baseplate from the back cover.
Step 2:
Remove the screws to separate the back cover from the middle main functional
part.
Step 3:
Install 9VDC carbon battery.
Installation of the Keypad
Step 1:
Remove the screw from the bottom of the keypad and separate the installing
baseplate from the back cover.
Step 2:
Install the baseplate to the wall or the post with the screws included in the
kit. Step 3: Install the baseplate back to the back cover of the
keypad.
Universal Control Board Connection for Wired Application
You can connect the 1# and 2# terminals of the keypad to the terminals for push button of the gate opener. No matter the polarity. And then you can connect the 3# and 4# terminals of the keypad to the 9-30VAC/DC auxiliary output terminals of the gate opener. No matter the polarity.
Programming the Keypad
NOTE:
There are two kinds of codes while programming: Master code and Entry code.
The master code is used to program the keypad.The entry code is used to
activate the keypad to control the gate opener. You can program the temporary
codes and the permanent entry codes according to your needs. The use number of
times of the temporary entry codes can be programmed at the same time.
NOTE:
Max. 32 permanent entry codes and 32 temporary codes can be programmed to the
keypad. NOTE: All codes should be 4 digits in length. Factory default master
code is 9999.
Program New Master Code
Add New Permanent Entry Code
Change Permanent Entry Code
Add New Temporary Entry Code
Delete Single Entry Code (Permanent Entry Code or Temporary Entry Code)
Delete All Temporary Entry Codes
Delete All Entry Codes (Include Permanent Entry Codes and Temporary Entry Codes)
Program the Keypad to the Gate Opener (Wireless Application)
Step 1:
Input the entry code of the keypad when it’s in standby mode.
Step 2:
Press and release the remote control programming button (CODE SW button, LNSW
button, Learn button, etc.) on the gate opener control board, the CODE LED
(REM LED, LEARN LED, LCD, etc.) will be ON or indicate the programming
display.
Step 3:
Press the A or B key of the keypad two times in 2 seconds, the CODE LED (REM
LED, LEARN LED, LCD, etc.) will flash for 3 seconds and then to OFF or standby
display. Now the keypad has been programmed to the gate opener successfully.
Use the Keypad to Operate the Gate Opener
You can input the valid entry code and then press key A or key B which has been programmed to the control board to operate the gate opener. You don’t have to input the entry code again within 3 seconds after the key A or key B is activated.
Reset the Master Code of the Keypad
There is a reset button on the back of the control panel of the keypad. You
can hold and press the button for 4 seconds until the blue backlights flash
quickly and the buzzer beeps 2 long sound. The master code has been restored
to factory default value: 9999.

designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a
residential installation. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However,
there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular
installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and
on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more
of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
