Soldering iron

Application:
Soldering iron is intended for indoor use; for soldering and desoldering small components and electronic parts.

Safety instructions:

Please read this operation instruction carefully before use, and keep it for future reference.

  • Before connecting the device to the power supply socket, make sure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the voltage in the power supply socket.
  • Handle the soldering iron with care. The tip of the soldering iron reaches a high temperature and may cause a risk of fire and burns.
  • The soldering iron tip may emit smoke during the first use, as the heating element dries out. This is normal and should last for a few minutes.
  • Never file the specially-plated tip.
  • When using non-resin-based solder, be sure to apply a solder paste to the part before applying the solder.
  • Always disconnect from the power supply when not in use.
  • This appliance may be used by children who are above 8 years old and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised and guided by a person who is responsible for their safety in a cautious manner, and all the safety precautions are understood and followed. Children should not play with this device. Children should not perform cleaning and servicing of the device unsupervised.
  • Fixed power cable may only be replaced at an authorized service point.
  • Do not attempt to repair this appliance yourself. Any repair can be carried out by an authorized service point exclusively.
  • Always disconnect the product from the power mains before cleaning.
  • Keep the device and its cable away from heat, water, moisture, sharp edges, and any other factor that may damage the appliance or its cord.
  • Producer of this product is not responsible for damages caused by inappropriate handling and using the device.

How to solder:

  1. File off any dirt, rust, or paint on the part you wish to solder.

  2. Heat the part with the soldering iron. (fig.1)

  3. Apply resin-based solder to the part and melt it with the soldering iron. (fig.2)

  4. Wait for the solder to cool and harden before moving the soldered part. (fig.3)
