Impurities from water build up during normal use. These sediments can be removed perfectly from the kettle using preparations designed for removing limescale (observe the producer’s instructions) or using the following procedure:

  1. Pour 0.5 litre of vinegar into the kettle and top up with water. Leave the solution in the kettle overnight. Do not boil!
  2.  Pour out the contents, and clean the remaining sediment using a wet cloth. Fill the kettle with clean water, boil it and pour it out again. Repeat the procedure once more. The kettle is then ready for continuing operation.

Note: Remove the sediment inside the kettle regularly, about once a week, depending on the water hardness and frequency of use. Deposits reduce the heating effect and the service life of the kettle considerably
