**** ELECTRICAL APPLICATION
Apply for use only on proper electric power usage as indicated in the rating
plate on the laminator. Keep on easy plugging and unplugging situations.
OPERATION PROCEDURES
- It is normal that new laminator could smell irritated in beginning, please keep fluent air ventilation before using.
- Place laminator on table leaving enough space for the laminated object to access and come out from the laminator smoothly.
HOT LAMINATION
- HOT Lamination: Turn the switch to „HOT” and wait until the GREEN light is READY illuminates, which means warm-up is completed and the laminator is ready to use. To stabilize the thermal conditions and increase lamination quality, please wait a few minutes after the READY diode will light up before you start laminating the document. Normal papers or laminating pouches from 80 microns to 125 microns, can be proceeded on this stage.
- We suggest turning the switch to OFF for 30 minutes and cooling the laminator after HOT lamination for 30 minutes, then start the new HOT lamination.
- Press the switch to „OFF” and when not in use for safety precautions.
COLD LAMINATION
- Cold lamination is at its best performance for cabinet temperatures less than 35°C(95°F); this machine will not generate heat on the cold lamination stage, please keep the machine temp under 35°C(95°F).
- Use the cold lamination pouches only.
- Cold lamination is for fax paper, light-sensitive photos, and other papers/documents that will be affected by heat.
- Turn the switch to the „COLD” position then insert the papers into the cold lamination pouch then start the cold lamination.
- If the cold lamination is after the „HOT” lamination, please turn the switch to „COLDcool the machine; and wait for 30 minutes then cold lamination could proceed.
JAM RELEASE BUTTON
Due to the situation of necessary termination during lamination or paper jam,
keep pressing on the RELEASE / REVERSE button and pull out the laminated
pouches at the same time, then start the new lamination.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Select the rightful size of lamination pouch to use as inadequacy to fully cover the laminating material can cause laminator jam or damage.
- Not applicable for one-side lamination only.
- Sensitive paper as fax paper or its similar material can only proceed with „COLD” lamination mode.
- Do not laminate exceeding the maximum thickness of 0.5mm. Laminating pouch from 80-125 microns (3-6 mils.) can be used to laminate the standard DIN A4 70gsm paper but suggest using only the 80 microns pouch for laminating thicker papers or photos.
- Regular maintenance of laminator rollers by use of specialized cleaning paper can lessen laminator jam occurrence.
- When the laminated material happens to get stuck during the lamination process, and is unable to be pulled out by the RELEASE / REVERSE Button, avoid the dangerous attempt of trying to open or dismantle the machine by your own.
- The machine does not require any maintenance or adjustment. Please do not attempt to take out the machine casing by yourself. If an unusual problem occurs, please contact our after-sales service centers for the proper repair.
- The socket outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.
- If wearing a tie or long necklace, use caution to keep these items away from opening.
