Palmer AHPTAUBER Tauber Microphone Merge Box Passive 1
INTRODUCTION
Use the tauber microphone merge box to connect two microphones to a balanced input on a mixer or audio interface if, for example, the number of available channels is not sufficient. Because the decoupling takes place via a balanced resistance matrix, the merge box can be used with phantom power, which means that condenser microphones can also be used (two condenser microphones: phantom power P max 1/2). Avoid connecting a dynamic and a condenser microphone together on the summing mixer, as the microphone types have very different levels and sound characteristics. Tip: Use two identical microphones.
