Technical Q&A.

Ql. What kind of computer is suitable for this product?
Al. Used for 2 PC which support Display port outputs. As shown in Figure Q.
Q2: How to make it work with the computer with DP interface or MINI DP interface?
A2: For DP interface, directly connected to the KVM switch with DP cables. For MINI DP interface you will need a” MINI DP to DP Cable” connect to the KVM switch and computer.
As shown in Figure C): DP(MINI DP) to DP Cable

Q3: The Laptop has USB-C output, can I use it ?
A3: Yes, will need one separate USB-C to DP cable for USB-C port.
As shown in Figure C):   NOTE：This DP KVM Switch using the MST HUB technology

1. The MST KVM is not suitable for computers with only HDMI ports, because HDMI does not support MST Hub, and HDMI to DP cannot be used as signal input.
2. Apple M1/M2 only supports one external screen, no multi-screen output.

Warm tips.

1. If your device work with 4K and above resolution, please use a 4K or above DP or HDMI port monitor.
2. The computer needs to support output (DP) sources by connecting the KVM switch to PC INPUT respectively.
3. Conneting two USB3.0 cables to two computer hosts respectively to supply enough power for the KVM switch, support USB HUB function for USB device connected.
4. If you use a 2.4G wireless keyboard and mouse, please plug the 2.4G receiver into the USB port on the front of the KVM.
5. In order to get a good using experience, it is recommended to use two monitors with the same resolution.
