INTRODUCTION
This Palmer AoC product was developed to transmit audio signals reliably over long distances without loss or hum via Cat cable. The compact and modular design is suitable for a wide range of applications in the studio, on stage and in permanent installations. Preferably use balanced cables, as these are significantly less susceptible to interference than unbalanced cables.
CONNECTIONS
Plug a shielded Cat cable (Cat5e or better) with etherCON connectors (or
compatible) into the etherCON socket and connect the other end of the cable to
another Palmer AoC Loom (e.g. PAOCLXLRM), a Palmer AoC Box or another suitable
Palmer device with an AoC interface (or other devices with AES72 type 5E pin
assignment).
There are four 6.35 mm TRS jack plugs (channel 1 – 4) at the end of the
breakout cable. Use the adapter as both an input and output unit. The adapter
can be used for different signal sources and to control various devices
simultaneously.
