Installation Manual
Eonon unit is easy to install.
You will enjoy installing it by yourself to save time, effort and the huge
amount of installation fee.
Are you ready?
Go!
- Confirm the size and shape of the center console panel.
- Plastic tool
- Pry the air conditioning vent panel from edge with the plastic tool, and put it on the center console.
(There is no need to disconnect the cable.)
- Phillips screwdriver
- Use Phillips screwdriver to remove the 2 screws on the factory CD player.
- Take out the factory CD player and unplug all cables.
- Take out the Eonon head unit from the packing box.
Use Phillips screwdriver to remove the 2 screws on the top of the head unit, which are used to fix the DVD-ROM inside.
- Install the 2 Eonon mounting brackets on the head unit.
- Eonon head unit power plug
- Factory radio plug
- Connect the head unit to the car radio plug via Eonon radio harness.
(If your Eonon head unit is equipped with CAN Bus, then please connect the CAN Bus to the Eonon power cable first.)
- Test all features of the head unit (FM, DVD, SD, USB, reversing, handbrake, headlight, steering wheel control) before going to next step.
- USB port
- Open the glove box, and pull the USB plug from the center console to the glove box through the gap between them.
- Release the weather strip on A pillar to install GPS antenna, microphone etc. (Note: The A pillar is near the driver seat.)
- Pry the A pillar trim with plastic tool.
- Place the microphone here.
- Stick the dashcam on the windshield. Clip the microphone wherever you want and get the best voice reception.
- Pull the microphone wire, GPS antenna, WiFi antenna, dashcam wire into the A pillar, and then reinstall A pillar trim.
- Place the GPS antenna and microphone as shown. The wires should be led to the head unit through A pillar and the trim behind the steering wheel.
- Pull the microphone wire, GPS antenna, WiFi antenna, dashcam USB wire, reversing rear view wire to the center console.
- Install the head unit into the center console after connecting all cables.
- Fix it with 2 screws.
- Install the air conditioning vent panel.
- Installation completed.
