Instruction Manual
PREFACE
To make your experience with this remote control helicopter as easy and
convenient as possible, please read the instructions provided before using the
product. Enjoy and have fun with the product while keeping the manual for
future maintenance and reference.
- In order to protect the legitimate rights and interests of users, please be sure to carefully read the contents of this manual before using this product.
- When using this product, please be sure to strictly observe and perform the requirements which include but are not limited to the instructions and safety guidelines. For any personal injury, accident, property loss, legal dispute, or any other adverse event causing a conflict of interest resulting from the use of the product or any irresistible factors that are in violation of the safety instructions, the user shall bear the related responsibilities and losses. Syma will not take any responsibility.

Safety Guide
- Please store the smaller-sized helicopter accessories in places that are out of reach of children.
- This helicopter is very powerful. For all first-time flights, the left joystick must be slowly pushed up in order to prevent the helicopter from ascending too fast to avoid unnecessary collision and possible damage and injury.
- When the flight is ended, first turn off the power of the remote control. Then turn off the power of the helicopter.
- Avoid placing the batteries in places with high temperatures and exposure to heat.
- Take extra precautions to ensure that the helicopter is at a minimum distance of 15 feet from the pilot, other people, and animals in order to prevent bodily injury during flight operations. A minimum separation distance of 20 cm must be maintained between the user’s body and the device under normal use conditions.
- Children under the age of 8 must be instructed in the correct and safe operation of the aircraft by an adult.
- The children must be under adult supervision when using this aircraft.
- Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged; Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity; Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not be mixed.
- When the helicopter is not in use, please remove the batteries in the remote control.
- The supply terminals are not be short-circuited.
- Discharge the battery to 40%-50% (On a full charge, fly for half of the total flight time) if it will not be used for 10 days or more, this can greatly extend the battery life.
- Please keep a safe distance from the spinning propellers to avoid injury.
- To ensure the electromagnetic environment requirement of the aviation radio (station), using remote controls in the zone, which is in a radius of about 5000m zones from the circle center of the airport runway, is forbidden. AIII users also should abide by the regulation of the radio set forth by government and regulatory agencies including the duration and area.
- Only uses the recommended transformer for the model, and the transformer is not a toy. Check the cord, plug, enclosure and other parts of the transformer regularly.lf any damages have been discovered, please immediately stop using it, until it was completely repaired.
- Never look steadily at the laser beam since the laser radiation.
- Attention: Helicopter assembly under adult supervision.
- The pilot is responsible for the safe operation and safe distance from uninvolved persons and property on the ground and from other airspace users and shall never fly the helicopter above crowds (> 12 persons).
- Open the battery cover of the toy with a screwdriver.
- The packing has to be kept since it contains important information.
Repair and Maintenance
- Use dry and soft cloth to clean this product.
- Avoid exposing this product to heat.
- Do not immerse this product in water, otherwise, the electronic parts will be damaged.
- Check the cord, plug, enclosure, and other parts regularly. If any damages have been discovered, please immediately stop using it, until it was completely repaired.
Cautions
Please read the following contents before using to avoid irreparable damage to the battery, fire, smoke or explosion!!!
- Avoid short circuits by fitting the batteries incorrectly, and DO NOT crush or squeeze the batteries as this could carry the risk of an explosion.
- Insure you store or charge your batteries in an open and dry area away from anything flammable. (Recommended a fire-proof bag.)
- It is recommended to only use the USB charging cable that comes with the helicopter to charge the battery.
- DO NOT connect the battery directly to wall outlets or car cigarette lighter sockets.
- DO NOT charge the battery directly after use, allow it time to cool down in an open and dry area.
- DO NOT charge the batteries above 2 Amps. Make sure to remove the batteries from the charger after charging is complete, never overcharge the batteries.
- DO NOT attempt to disassemble or modify the battery in any way.
- DO NOT use the battery if it gives off an odor, generates heat, becomes discolored or deformed, or appears abnormal in any way.
- Keep the battery out of reach of children or pets.
- Do NOT attempt to disassemble or modify the battery in any way.
- Be cautious while removing a battery from the charger, it’s possible to strip the cords that could lead to a fire (And ruin the battery).
- DO NOT pierce the battery casing with a nail or other sharp object, break it open with a hammer, or step on it!
Battery Warning
- Failure to follow all the instructions may result in serious injury, and irreparable damage to the battery and may cause a fire, smoke or explosion.
- Always check the battery’s condition before charging or using it.
- Replace the battery if it has been dropped, or in case of odor, overheating, discoloration, deformation or leakage.
- Use only the supplied charging cable.
- The battery temperature must never exceed 60 C (140°F) otherwise the battery could be damaged or ignite.
- Never charge on a flammable surface, near flammable products or inside a vehicle preferably place the battery in a non-flammable and nonconductive container ).
- Never leave the battery unattended during the charging process. Never disassemble or modify the housing’s wiring, or puncture the cells. Always ensure that the charger output voltage corresponds to the voltage of the battery. Do not short circuit the batteries.
- Never expose the battery to moisture or direct sunlight, or store it in a place where temperatures could exceed60 C (helicopter in the sun, for example)
- Always keep it out of reach of children.
- Improper battery use may result in a fire, explosion or another hazard
- Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
- Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.
- Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
- The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. Regular examination of transformer or battery charger for any damage to their cord, plug, enclosure, and other parts and they must not be used until the damage has been repaired.
- The packaging has to be kept since it contains important information.

Operating Instructions:
- The product is made out of light and thin materials. Inappropriate operations may lead to unintended crashes. It may cause the helicopter to be easily damaged.
- After flying the helicopter avoid touching the motors. The motors may be very hot and can cause burns if touched. The screwdriver is not a toy, do not give it to the child.it’s only for use by adults to replace batteries and do other maintenance.
Flying Environment:
- Suitable for flying in calm indoor areas. Pay attention to air conditioner/electric fan air flows.
- Spacious areas. Recommended flying area size: 20 feet X 20 feet wide and 10 feet in height.
- Calm areas. It is strongly recommended to fly in areas without air flows. Do not fly in areas with air conditioner/electric fan or table lamp, or other electrical equipment which may be easily damaged.
Understanding the Transmitter

8.1 Operations
8.2 Trimming
If the helicopter begins to rotate quickly while hovering (left stick is not
moved left/right), please adjust the trim button on the transmitter until the
helicopter starts hovering as normal.

If the helicopter’s rear end motor spins clockwise making the helicopter unstable, please press the right trimming button on the transmitter until the helicopter regains stability. Notice: Make sure the rear end of the helicopter faces the pilot.

If the helicopter’s rear end motor spins counterclockwise making the helicopter unstable, please press the right trimming button on the transmitter until the helicopter regains stability. Notice: Make sure the rear end of the helicopter faces the pilot.
Charging the Helicopter
9.1 Charging instructions
Switch off the helicopter(Switch is at the left side of the helicopter);
insert the charging cable into a USB port on your computer (the charging cable
indicator light will turn on); connect the charging cable to the helicopter
(the charging cable light will go off); the charging time is about 60 minutes;
unplug the charger cable when the light turns on. The charging time is about
60 minutes; the flying time is about 5 minutes. The toy is only to be
connected to equipment bearing either of the following symbols:

9.2 Battery charging information
- Batteries are only to be charged by adults or by children at least 14 years old.
- Exhausted batteries should be removed from the aircraft.
- Caution: Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced with incorrect ones. Please dispose of the batteries according to the instructions.
- Don’t use or leave the battery near a heat source such as a fire or heater.
- After flying, don’t charge batteries at once to avoid batteries too heated to cause to fire, make sure it cools down before charging.
- Don’t hit or let batteries fall down when charging to avoid an inner short-circuit.
- Only use the included adaptor for charging. Please replace them with new batteries in time if batteries aging.
- After full charging, please take off the adaptor in time, otherwise batteries will discharge and charge again, this way will shorten the batteries’ service life.
- Remove and insert the battery correctly.
Installing Transmitter Batteries
Transmitter battery installation: open the battery cover at the back of the transmitter. Install 4pcs AA batteries according to the polarity indications (Note: batteries are not included).
- ****During the battery installation, it must be ensured that the polarities of the batteries are matched with that of the battery box. No battery shall be installed with the opposite polarity.
- Please do not use new and old batteries together.
- Please do not use different types of batteries together.
- Do not use rechargeable batteries.
Re-installing the Blades
- Remove the screws before re-installing the blades.
- Labeled blades fit on the A labeled motors, B labeled blades fit on the B labeled motors. Use the screws to tighten the blades. Refer to the image.
Preparation for Flight
12.1 Flight preparation

Turn on the transmitter.

To turn on the helicopter, move the on/off switch at the top of the helicopter to the ON status/position. The power light will turn on.

Place the helicopter on the ground. Make sure the rear end of the helicopter faces the pilot.

Move the throttle stick fully up and after fully down. The helicopter indicator lights will stop flashing and tum solid indicating successful pairing. The helicopter is ready to fly.
5. To press the button-Auto take-off/ landing button, which is located at the first button on the left front side of the remote control, and then the helicopter is ready to fly.
12.2 Height hold
Use the left stick (throttle) to achieve the desired height and after allow
the left stick to fall back to its default middle position.

- The charger used with the drone should be examined regularly, such as the cord, plug, enclosures, and other parts. In case of any damages is found, please stop using it unless it is repaired or replaced.
- Do not touch the rotating rotor, avoid loose clothing or hair that could be caught in the rotor, and do not fly near the face. 9. Advice to keep the instructions for use.

Symatoys.com.cn warrants to the original buyer only that its products will be
free from defects in material and workmanship for 2 years from the date upon

PROCEDURE: Any claims for breach of the foregoing limited warranty shall
