Product Usage Instructions
Getting Started
Insert the connector into the octagonal button making sure it is completely
plugged-in: the circles must remain inside the octagon.
Installation on Motorcycle
Follow the provided instructions to install the device on your motorcycle.
Installing BTTalk on Your Phone
Make sure to have installed the BTTalk app on your smartphone and completed
the registration process.
Button Pairing Procedure
Follow the button pairing procedure as outlined in the manual.
Pairing with Your Phone
Follow the steps provided to pair the device with your phone.
Confirmation of Correct Pairing/Reconnection
Ensure the device is correctly paired and reconnected as needed.
Using with Intercom Device
Utilize the device with an intercom following the recommended guidelines.
Battery Information
The BTT Button uses a CR2032 button battery with an approximate lifetime of
2 years. When discharged, its icon will be displayed on BTTalk.
Replacing the Battery
To replace the battery, remove the screws from the bottom cover of the
octagonal button and replace as instructed.
Getting started
Insert the connector into the octagonal button making sure it is completely plugged-in: the circles must remain inside the octagon.
Installation
- Velcro A (female) must be positioned below the octagonal button on the side of the screws.
- Fix the wired button on the left-hand knob using the silicone strap.
- Apply velcro B (male part) to the handlebar of the motorbike, to an area where the octagonal button will remain fixed.
- Clean the surface before applying the adhesive.
Installing BTTalk on your phone
Make sure to have installed the BTTalk app on your smartphone and to have completed the registration process.
Button pairing
- Press button A (it is visible for the pairing)
- Then keep pressed buttons A and B at the same time for 15 seconds. Release them (this will make a reset of the pairings)
- Press again button A (the button is visible and ready to be paired)
- The button will remain visible for 30 seconds; to extend the time, press button A again.
Pairing the phone
- Open the BTTalk app and click on the button in the top right corner.
- Then click on “Bluetooth management”.
- “BTTButton/PTTDual” will be shown on the display; click on this indication and confirm the pairing.
Confirmation of the correct pairing
- Once the button has been correctly paired and connected to BTTalk, the icon will turn white.
- To connect the BTT BUTTON again after it has been switched off or in case it went out of range, make sure to have the app opened and click on the button
Using an intercom device
- The BTTalk APP has been mainly designed for Midland intercom devices , but it’s also compatible with units of other brands.
- After having paired and connected the intercom device to the phone, the icon will turn white.
- From now on, the microphone and speaker of the intercom device will be used instead of those of the phone
Battery type
BTT Button uses a button battery CR2032, which has a lifetime of 2 years approximately. When it is discharged, its icon will be displayed on BTTalk.
