Auto channel switch through the trigger function (if you have more
cameras installed)
The monitor cable has 3 coloured “TRIG” wires (1-2-3), and each one
corresponds to one of the three channels.
Connecting the corresponding TRIG wire to the positive pole (+) the monitor
will automatically switch to that channel. When the wire is disconnected, the
monitor will return to the previous channel.
In SYSTEM →DELAY TIME menu you can set the delay time before returning to
the previous channel when the TRIG cable is disconnected.
This function is useful if you use a positive coming from a direction
indicator that lights up intermittently.
Example of typical 2 channel setup
- Front camera which shows you everything that happens on the road (set on channel 1)
- Rear camera to help you while reversing (connected to channel 2)
- Connecting TRIG[2] to the reverse, the monitor will automatically switch to view rear camera when reverse gear is inserted.
- When reverse gear is switched off, monitor will return to show the front camera (this function is active on all 3 channels)
Note: Install the display in such a way not to obstruct the view.
