Orbic Tab 10R 5G Tablet
About the Tablet
Note: The screen images and icons are seen here are for reference only
since the devices and software are constantly evolving.
Initial Tablet Setup The Tab 10R comes with a pre-installed SIM card.
Note: For the optimal functionality of your new device, please use the pre-installed SIM card.
Inserting a microSD
If you have a microSD card, use the pin tool and insert it in the hole to
release the tray. Insert the microSD card with the gold contacts facing down
and close the tray.
Note: The microSD card is sold separately.
Charging the Battery
Before using your Tablet, you must charge it completely.
- Insert the small end of the USB cable into the Tablet and the larger end into the charger.
- Plug the charger into an electrical outlet.
Warning! Use only approved chargers with your device. Incompatible chargers that are tampered with may damage the device and void the warranty.
Powering ON/OFF
To Power ON Your Tablet
- Press and hold the Power/Lock button located on the right edge of your Tablet.
To Power OFF Your Tablet
- Press and hold the Power/Lock button and follow the prompts.
Using On-screen Gestures
Use the on-screen gestures to move around the screen; open menus, select items, zoom in or out on web pages, and more.
- Swipe – Swipe by quickly sliding your finger in any direction.
- Drag – Touch and hold an item to move it to a new position.
- Double Tap – Tap twice rapidly to zoom in or out on a picture.
- Zoom – Spread two fingers apart on a web page, map, or image to zoom in. Pinch the screen to zoom out.
Lock and Unlock the Tablet
To Lock the Screen
- Press the Power/Lock button. This action prevents the accidental key press.
To Unlock the Screen
- Press the Power/Lock button and swipe up on the screen.
Calling
Calling is supported by the Message+ app when paired with an active Verizon
device.
Texting
Texting is supported by the Message+ app when paired with an active Verizon
device.
Take Photos
Take pictures with the Camera app.
- From the Home screen tap
- Aim the camera at the subject using the Tablet’s main display screen as a viewfinder.
- Pinch the screen to zoom in or pinch open to zoom out.
- Before taking a picture, you can tap on the screen icons to access various camera options and settings.
- Tap to click a photo. You can also use the volume keys to click a photo.
Google™ Play Store
Find and download your favorite apps, movies and TV shows, music, books, magazines, and games.
Install Apps
Your Tablet comes preloaded with several applications, and you can download many more from the Play store.
Play Store
Play Store is a preinstalled application store on Android™ tablets.
- Search or browse for applications.
- Select the desired app, download, and install.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. You can also uninstall, update, and manage your downloaded apps.
Open an App
- Tap the app that you want to open.
Uninstalling Apps
You can uninstall the downloaded apps.
Note: Preloaded apps cannot be uninstalled.
- Touch and hold the app icon that you want to uninstall.
- Tap Uninstall and follow the prompts to uninstall the app.
- Touch OK to confirm or Cancel to stop the uninstallation.
Improving Accessibility
Accessibility services are special features that allow those with specific physical disabilities (impaired vision, hearing, or reduced dexterity) to use the device more easily.
- Touch Home key > swipe up for apps > Settings > Accessibility.
- Tap a category and set the desired options.
Connect to Wi-Fi
- Touch the Home key > swipe up for the apps Settings Network & Internet > Wi-Fi. Make sure Wi-Fi is ON.
- Select Network or Add Network.
- Enter the network SSID and other required information.
- Touch Connect.

Verizon Cloud offers secure online storage to back up and access your data and sync them with your other Cloud-Connected devices. To learn more, go to “vzw.com/Cloud”.
