WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SAFE USE

  • THE USER MANUAL CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON THE ASSEMBLY, CORRECT USE, AND MAINTENANCE OF THE PRODUCT. THE TRICYCLE COMPLIES WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF EUROPEAN STANDARD EN 71-1-2-3.

  1. This tricycle is intended for use by children from 12 to 60 months of age.
  2. The maximum loading capacity of the product – child + luggage in the toy basket – must be up to 25 kg.
  3. The overloading of the construction may lead to injury to the child.
  4. The tricycle is not intended for carrying more than one child at the same time.
  5. WARNING! To be used under the direct supervision of an adult!
  6. Never leave the child alone on the tricycle!
  7. WARNING! Protective equipment should be worn. Not to be used in traffic.
  8. The safety belt must be worn when the product is used by children under 3 years of age. Make sure that the safety belt is placed correctly!
  9. Adult assembly is required.
  10. Do not unpack and do not assemble the product close to small children.
  11. Warning! Content of small parts. Risk of choking and suffocation!
  12. The packing materials are not a toy and are not part of the tricycle. Remove them before use! Throw the packaging at the designated places.
  13. Children must not play with the packing of the product.
  14. WARNING! Do not place and do not tie to the toy any objects or other accessories and strings which are not included with the product! The danger of hanging, entanglement, and disturbance in the balance. Risk of injury!
  15. The correct assembly of the tricycle following carefully the manual is of great importance for the safety of your child!
  16. Use only as intended!
  17. Do not hang luggage on the paternal control handle. This may lead to a disturbance in the balance of the product, upturning and injury to your child!
  18. In order to ensure safe use and avoid damage, do not do any changes, additions, or modifications to the tricycle’s construction. If necessary, contact the seller or an authorized repair shop for consultation or repairs.
  19. WARNING! THE PARENTAL CONTROL HANDLE OF THE TRICYCLE MUST BE HANDLED BY AN ADULT ONLY. USE THE HANDLE FOR DIRECTING THE MOVEMENT, NOT FOR LIFTING OF THE TRICYCLE OR GOING DOWN OR UP THE STAIRS OR CURBS! THE WARRANTY WILL NOT BE VALID IF THE HANDLE IS BROKEN DUE TO THE FAULT OF THE USER!
  20. Do not allow children to pull or push the toy.
  21. The parental control handle must not be removed if you are not completely sure that the child can ride the tricycle independently and without the help of others!
  22. Keep away from direct heat sources – open fires, heaters, or cookers.
  23. Use the product on even ground and safe grounds!
  24. The use of the tricycle is not allowed in the following areas:
    -on inclined surfaces;
    -close to stairs or pools;
    -behind stopped cars, on or close to roads and streets with traffic, rivers, hills, protrusions, escalators, and other dangerous places.
    -in muddy and swampy terrains.
  25. To be used during the day only.
  26. WARNING! The hands, feet, or other parts of the child’s body must be away from the wheels or other moving parts. Otherwise, the child may get injured.
  27. In order to use the tricycle independently, the child must master special skills! Before it has started riding the tricycle independently, make sure that you have explained to it, how to step on the footboard, how to turn the pedals, and how to get on and off. If the child cannot do any of these actions on its own, use the parental control handle.
  28. Do not allow the child to stand up on the seat.
  29. Do not allow the child to ride the tricycle barefoot.
  30. WARNING! The child must not hang their feet at the sides.
  31. The parental control handle, canopy, belts, and safety board are suitable for use when the children cannot independently ride the tricycle. When the child is able to independently ride the tricycle, you can dismount these additions.
  32. The toy is not suitable for running or skating.
  33. Take care of the people and pets around you, while using the product.
  34. Be careful in order to avoid collisions with other objects!
  35. You must teach your child to always ride the tricycle only forwards, in the direction of movement, without turning back, while in motion.
  36. The child must not jump with the tricycle from curbs or other higher parts, as well as bumping into them.
  37. Do not use the tricycle on rainy days.
  38. The use of the tricycle in rainy/ wet weather may lead to damage or rust to the product. Keep the product away from water.

PARTS OF THE TRICYCLE

Before assembly of the tricycle, take all the parts out of the packing and check if all of the bellow listed are present. Keep the packages until you finish the assembly completely.
SEE FIGURE PD and the table with parts:

  1. C – canopy;
  2. H –handlebar;
  3. FB – front basket;
  4. FW – front wheel;
  5. FR – footrest;
  6. RB – rear brakes;
  7. RW – rear wheels;
  8. BB – rear basket;
  9. BS – buttons for adjusting the backrest;
  10. PB – parent control handle;
  11. F – frame of the tricycle;
  12. BF – rear footrests;
  13. HR – headrest.

ASSEMBLY STEPS

  1. Step 1 – See Figure 1: Unfold the rear foldable part of the frame according to the arrow in Figure 1. to fold the frame, press the button on the frame.
  2. Step 2 – See Figure 2: Attach the brakes in the rear part of the frame. Take care when attaching the brakes. You must distinguish correctly the right brake from the left one. Take one of the rear wheels with the attached to it rear axle. Slide the axle through the opening in the rear brake and press forward to fix the wheel. Attach the other rear wheel the same way.
  3. Step 3 – See Figure 3: Press down the button on the footrest. Unfold the right and left parts of the footrest. To fold the footrest slide the button down and fold it to the frame. Then close the right and left parts of the footrest.
  4. Step 4 – See Figure 4: Place the rear basket with the rear footrest on the frame. Press carefully down to fit them. Note that the basket must be placed first and then on the footrest.
  5. Step 5 – See Figure 5: Press the buttons on both sides of the backrest to up it in a straight position. Using these buttons you can adjust the backrest in several laying positions.
  6. Step 6 – See Figure 6: Slide the front fork with the front wheel in the opening of the frame. Be careful how the mudguard is pointed. The arrow in it must be pointed forwards. Put the front basket on top of the front fork, then put the steering wheel and push down. The button of the steering wheel must be facing the road. You will hear a clicking sound showing the successful fix of the handlebar to the front fork. Check if the assembly is successful. Rotate the steering wheel to the left and right. If it controls the front fork and the fork does not fall out of the frame, then you have assembled the parts correctly.
  7. Step 7 – See Figure 7: The safety board can be pre-assembled to the backrest of the seat. Press the buttons on each side of the safety board to remove it and put the child in the seat. Put the safety belts on the child and then put the safety board back on.
  8. Step 8 – see Figure 8: Fix the headrest to the backrest as shown in the figure.
  9. Step 9 – See Figures 9 and 10: The canopy is pre-assembled to the backrest. Unfold it before use.
  10. Step 10 – See Figure 11: Put the parent control handle in the rear part of the frame. Press down to fix it.

PRODUCT FUNCTIONS

  1. Foldable footrest – Figure 3: The footrest can be unfolded in order for your child to place their feet on it. Unfold it before the child sits in the tricycle. Fold it back when you will not use the tricycle.in Step 3 from ASSEMBLY, STEPS has described the way of unfolding and folding.
  2. Adjustable backrest – Figure 12: The backrest can be adjusted in several positions with the side buttons. Press them and simultaneously with that put the backrest in the needed position. Release the buttons to fix the backrest.
  3. Rotating seat – See Figure 13: In order to rate the seat in position with the child facing you or the road, loosen the screw in the base of the seat. Rotate the seat and put it in the needed position. Then tighten the screw again to fix it.
  4. Foldable frame – See Figure 1: Fold the frame by pressing the red button and simultaneously moving the rear frame to the front.
  5. Detachable canopy– See Figure 14: Remove the headrest first. And then lift the canopy holder and remove it.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF THE PRODUCT

  1. Cleaning:
    • Clean with a soft dry cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning detergents – alcohol or bleach–based ones, or such, containing abrasive particles.
    • Do not spray water or other liquids directly on the tricycle during play or cleaning. This way you will avoid the risk of damage to the tricycle due to rush on the metal parts and disturbance in the stability of the connections.
    • Clean the tires regularly from sand or dust.
    • Keep the tricycle clean.

  2. Maintenance and storage:
    • Before each use of the tricycle, check carefully the working order of all parts and connections:
    – The screws must be tightened well;
    – The wheels and handlebar must be strong and fixed stably;
    – The wheels must move freely.
    • You must not use the tricycle if you find that there are any loose, worn, or damaged parts.
    • The long use of the product may lead to the loosening of the screws and nuts. Please, make sure that all nuts and screws are tightened well, in order to protect the child from injury.
    Warning! DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN, in order to avoid breaking the parts.
    • Exposing the product to direct sunlight may lead to discoloration or fading of the color.
    • Store the tricycle at a cool and dry place, when you are not using it.
    • Store the product away from direct sunlight and sources of heat – open fire, heaters, or cookers.
    • Check the product regularly before and after each use for malfunctions, cracks, and broken or missing parts. Stop using it if you find any damage until it is removed. For this purpose, contact the person you bought the product from, or the importer!
