MEMPHIS AUDIO OEM DIRECT FIT HD SPEAKER UPGRADE
Memphis Audio direct fit OEM audio systems include everything you need to make your motorcycle the loudest on the road. These kits are designed to fit directly into your vehicle with zero custom fabrication required. The speakers are sized to fit directly into the factory fairing of 2014 and newer Street Glide® motorcycles and 2015 and newer Road Glide® motorcycles as well as Tour Pak® locations. These speakers are designed to upgrade your sound with louder, higher-performance audio designed to be heard over the engine noise and at highway speeds. The optional amplifier mounting kit creates a mounting location in your vehicle’s fairing to add an amplifier for those who like it LOUD. No customization or fabrication is required. The Plug and play wire harness does not require any flashing to level out the factory head unit making installation simple.

authorized Memphis Audio dealer.
Warranty Information
This product has a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase for defects in
material or workmanship. This warranty will be extended to 3 years when
installed by a Memphis authorized dealer using Memphis Connection products.
The warranty is void if the product has been physically damaged by improper
usage or abuse. If repairs are attempted outside of a Memphis Audio facility,
the warranty is void.
This warranty is limited to the original retail purchaser and does not cover
any expenses incurred in the removal or re-installation of the product. This
warranty does NOT apply to product exterior and cosmetics. Memphis Audio
disclaims any liability for incidental or consequential damages caused by
product defects. Memphis Audio’s liability will not exceed the purchase price
of the product and the warranty period specified.
What is NOT covered under the warranty
- Damage due to improper installation
- Damage caused by exposure to moisture, excessive heat, chemical cleaners, and/or UV radiation
- Damage through negligence, misuse, accident, or abuse. (Repeated returns for the same damage may be abuse)
- Product damaged in an accident and/or due to criminal activity
- Service performed by anyone other than Memphis Audio
- Subsequent damage to other components
- Any cost or expense related to the removal or re-installation of product
- Products with tampered, missing, altered, or defaced serial numbers/labels
- Freight damage
- The cost of shipping products to Memphis Audio
- Return shipping on non-defective items
- Any product not purchased from an authorized Memphis Audio dealer
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. The above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights, you may have other rights which vary from state to state. If warranty service is required, a return authorization number is required to return the product to Memphis Audio. Warranty shipments to Memphis Audio are the responsibility of the purchaser. Pack the product carefully in the original carton if possible Memphis Audio will not be responsible for damages incurred in shipment or due to improper packaging materials used by the purchaser. If determined to be within warranty your product will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Memphis Audio.

These instructions are designed to be used on 2014 and newer Street Glide®
Motorcycles, 2015 and newer Road Glide® motorcycles, and Tour Pak® locations.
These pods are designed specifically to work with these types of motorcycles
only. If you have a different year or model machine, check with your
authorized Memphis Audio dealer or contact Memphis Audio customer service at
800-489-2300 prior to attempting
installation. These kits are not designed to be used with any other model or
year vehicle. Attempting to install these speakers on any other vehicle may
result in permanent damage to your vehicle.
2014+ STREET GLIDE® MOTORCYCLE INSTALLATION
NOTE: THIS IS ONLY FOR 2014+ MODELS, THIS KIT IS NOT DESIGNED FOR OLDER
MODELS

First, remove the outer fairing from the motorcycle. Once the fairing is
removed you will see the 4 bolts as shown in the photo above. hese bolts will
need to be removed.| Once the 4 bolts are removed, use the 4 supplied nylon
spacers around each hole.
This will provide level mounting points for the amplifier bracket.
| 
The amplifier mounting plate will mount on top of the supplied nylon spacers.
Mount the mounting plate using the supplied #10-24 screws. Be sure the
mounting bracket is securely mounted. Do not mount the amplifier until step
6.| Remove the left and right speaker enclosures. Then remove the OEM grille
and replace it with the supplied corresponding Memphis Street Glide Grille.

Remove the OEM speaker from the enclosure and replace it with the Memphis
Audio speaker. Please be sure to observe polarity. Once you have the new
speakers installed into the enclosures, you can put the speaker enclosures
back to their original location.| Be sure to wire the supplied harness to the
corresponding connectors on the bike,
and connect the clutch side and break side accordingly. You may now mount the
amplifier to the amplifier bracket using the supplied screws.

Run the power and ground wires under the gas tank to the battery and make the
positive and negative battery connections| Inside the fairing, on the brake
side, you will find a connector that will directly plug into the blue wire on
the Memphis harness. This is the wire that will tell your mplifier to turn on
so make sure it is connected!
2015+ ROAD GLIDE® MOTORCYCLE INSTALLATION
NOTE: THIS IS ONLY FOR 2015+ MODELS, THIS KIT IS NOT DESIGNED FOR OLDER
MODELS

Road Glide ® motorcycles use the stamped bracket and the aluminum extruded
bracket to create a secure mounting surface. Attached are the two brackets
together as shown using the supplied hardware.| Once the bracket is fastened
together, attach the amplifier as shown. Note the position of the harness
relative to the stamped bracket. Be sure the amplifier is mounted the correct
direction.

Remove the fairing prior to installation. Remove the OEM speaker grilles then
remove the speakers from the fairing. Replace the OEM speakers and grilles
with the Memphis Audio speakers and grilles provided. Please be sure to
observe polarity.| Take the amplifier/bracket assembly and install it as
shown.
| 
Once installed, use the supplied zip ties to tie all the loose wires shown
above.| Run the power and ground wires under the gas tank to the battery and
make the
positive and negative battery connections
|
Inside the fairing, on the break side, you will find a connector that will
directly plug into the blue wire on the Memphis arness. This is the wire that
will tell your amplifier to turn on so make sure it is connected!| Once
complete, installation should look as shown above.
