AUDIO VIVREM Wireless Remote Bass Level Control
Instruction Manual
Memphis Audio’s VIVREM is a wireless remote bass control for VIV series
amplifiers (mono and 900.5 only).
The VIVREM is auto-programed to pair with your amplifier directly out of the
box.
CHARGING/WIRING
Charging: Prior to paring the VIVREM needs to be charged or hardwired
into your electrical system. For 100% wire-free operation the VIVREM can be
charged using the enclosed USB to USB-MINI (5V-12V) cable. Charging takes 4
hours. You will know the charge is complete when the lead turns OFF. On a full
charge, the VIVREM will last approx 3000 hours.
Hardwiring: To hardwire the VIVREM to avoid having to charge the unit,
use the USB-MINI to hardwire the connection included in the box.
Tap the hardwire connection into your vehicle’s + / – electrical system and
plug USB-MINI into your VIV-REM. If you are uncomfortable with this process
please contact your local Memphis Audio retailer.
MOUNTING
Mounting: To mount the VIVREM fasten the included clip onto the mounting surface. The VIVREM is constructed with a unique design that allows it to be mounted horizontally or vertically. When mounting be sure not to drill into any existing electrical or sensitive equipment. Once the clip is mounted, slide the clip into the channel on the back of the VIVREM. Once in place, the VIVREM can easily be removed for charging by sliding it back off of the clip.
OPERATION
LED LIGHT: The LED light on the VIVREM Will FLASH BLUE when the volume is
turned up/down. It will maintain a SOLID BLUE color when the device is turned
to volume MIN/MAX. If the light is SOLID RED it indicates the amplifier is in
protect mode.
Short Press button: Mute/Short Press again to unmute.
EEPROM: The VIVREM Features EEPROM to remember the last volume setting the
amplifier was set to prior to powering down. When the system is turned on the
VIVREM will play the volume at the last setting used.
Long Press (5 seconds): Volume memory is cleared and volume is turned to MAX
