Getting started with your Laptop

Charging your Laptop

• You can charge your Laptop using the dedicated Type C charging port which is present in the Laptop.
• Connect the Type C connector to the charging port of the Laptop and plug the charger into an AC power outlet.
• The Laptop has a constant Red LED indication when the Laptop is charging. The indicator turns Blue when the Laptop is completely charged.

Booting your Laptop for the First Time
Lift the laptop screen and press the power button to boot your laptop for the first time.

Using your Keyboard
The laptop offers a full-size keyboard with integrated multimedia keys. They are as follows.

Using your Trackpad
The Laptop offers a Spacious trackpad along with a fingerprint sensor. The trackpad supports Windows 11 trackpad gestures. There is a list of Windows gestures that are supported by the laptop.

Getting Started with Windows

Setting up your Windows

• Step 1: Turn on your Laptop and wait until the windows is completely booted into welcome screen.

• Step 2: Select your Country and Language.

• Step 3: Select your Keyboard layout.
  If you want to add a keyboard layout follow the below steps.

• Step 4: Setting up the Internet.

  • Select the Wi-Fi Connection and press the connect button.
    (Tick the connect automatically option to auto-connect to internet on next boot up).

  • Enter the password of the Wi-Fi connection.

• Step 5: Review End user license agreement.

• Step 6: Sign into your Microsoft account.

• Step 7: Restoring your backup files.

• Step8: Setting up the password/pin.

• Step 9: Setting up Fingerprint sensor.

• Step 10: Setting up the privacy settings for your laptop.
  Select the privacy settings according to your preference and turn off the settings that you don’t want to share with Microsoft.

• Step 11: Customize your Windows Experience.

• Step 12: Use your phone on the PC.

• Step 13: Updating your windows.

• Step 14: Finishing Up.

Customizing your windows

• Step 1: Right-click on the desktop, Select Personalize Option.
• Step 2: Select the Background option to change your Desktop background.
• Step 3: Select Colors option to change your Accent color.
• Step 4: Select the Background option to change your Desktop background.

Setting up your Internet Connection

• Step 1: Open the Settings option.
• Step 2: Under settings, Select network and internet.
• Step 3: Under network and internet, Select the Wi-Fi option.
• Step 4: Select the Show available networks option and select the network that you want to use.
• Step 5: Enter the password for the selected network and click on connect.

Now you are successfully connected to your laptop

BIOSMenu

BIOS stands for (basic input/output system). It is a Program which is used to start your Laptop after turning on your laptop.

Entering into BIOS menu

• Press the delete button to enter into the BIOS menu.
