Introduction
Every academic, professional, and personal objective is catered to by the Rocketbook Fusion. With seven alternative page templates and a connection to your preferred online services, The Fusion is a reusable pen and paper notepad. There are calendars, to-do lists, and notetaking layouts on 42 futuristic pages. Of course, patented reusable Core technology is used in the Fusion’s construction. With a Pilot FriXion pen and the synthetic paper, you can write smoothly and then magically wipe clean to reuse again and time again! For perfect organizing, use the Rocketbook app to upload all of your plans, lists, and big ideas. After that, delete it and then utilize it again for your subsequent journey!
REUSE

EARSING Dampen part of the included microfiber towel with water and wipe the page. Then wipe it down with the dry portion of the towel. Make sure the page is dry before writing on it again. For easier erasing, use a fine mist spray bottle.

KEEP YOUR FUSION CLEAN It’s best to keep your Fusion pages wiped clean when you don’t plan to use it for a month or longer. This ensures that the pen ink doesn’t leave a residue.

DO NOT MICROWAVE YOUR FUSION Rocketbook also makes the Wave, a microwave-to-erase notebook. Please don’t confuse the Fusion with the Rocketbook Wave!

WRITE The Rocketbook Fusion has three sets of page types for all your plans and notes. These pages are waterproof, tear-resistant, and reusable!

WRITING WITH THE PILOT FRIXION PEN (INCLUDED) Only use Pilot FriXion pens and markers with the Fusion. To prevent smudging, allow 15 seconds for ink to bond to the page. If the pen skips, try moistening the tip.

PILOT FRIXION PEN INFORMATION FriXion ink disappears at 140°F (60°C), so be careful about leaving your notebook and pen in a hot car, as the ink may fade.
SCAN
- DOWNLOAD THE APP Use the free Rocketbook app to scan and send your page into the cloud! Available for iOS and Android.
- SETTING UP DESTINATIONS Go to Destinations and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the shortcut symbols to email and cloud services.
- SCAN AND SEND Mark a symbol at the bottom of the Rocketbook page. On the Scan screen in the app, take a scan, and follow the on- screen instructions to Send to email or cloud services. To get the best scan, make sure you scan in a well-lit environment and watch out for shadows.
TIPS
HANDWRITING RECOGNITION (OCR)
Do some magic with your handwritten text! Go to Settings > Handwriting Recognition (OCR) to enable the following features. Smart Titles – Auto-name scans with text between double hashtags (ex: ## Filename ##)
Smart Search – Search your handwritten text
Email Transcription – Send a full text transcription via email

- In the app, go to one of your Destinations and make sure Bundle Scans is on
- On Rocketbook pages you’d like to group together mark the symbol with Bundle Scans on
- Scan the pages in the order you’d like them to be grouped

Do the calendar pages link to a calendar app?
this function is still not available. it would be a very helpful!
Does the app feature OCR?
Yes. You download the rocketbook app to your phone or device. You write in your rocketbook (with special paper) with a Frixion pen (came with mine). You designate the icons at the bottom of the page for wherever you want your document to go.
Does this have each page style then lined pages or do the 7 styles repeat? I would like the calendar, to-do list, etc., but I need mostly lined pages.
You should check out the video they posted on the last slide of the pictures above! It shows every page. I believe it said 18 dotted and 18 lined as well as 7 pre-planned worth like the calendar and such.
Are there blank pages? The photo shows a blank page and the description says sketching pages, but the template does show a blank and it’s not listed.
I just received mine earlier this week. Beyond the first six pages, all of which are templated for tasks, ideas, schedule, etc., the rest are all blank pages. I am not certain whether that is a good thing at this point.
Can you keep ink on the month calendar pages for > 30 days? Love the Rocketbook products! Thx
Yes, I have left the pages with the marker and regular writing on them for more than 2 months. It depends on if you are bearing down on the pages when writing. That will be harder to clean. I have had no problem leaving stuff on the pages for months.
Does this require charging
No, it doesn’t require batteries or charging. It’s basically fancy paper that wipes clean with water if and only if you write with a Pilot FriXion pen or marker.
Are there different versions of the Rocketbook? I’m looking for a sketch paid format.
Yes, I have “fusion” which has a planner, to do list, and note paper in dot grid and lines format. If you’re looking to just sketch, get the “core” in dot grid style. I just like having the option to brainstorm ideas and take notes, hence the fusion version. The core comes only in all dot grid or all lined page style.
Does this product translate poor handwriting?
The app now has transcription to email or a .txt file. It does have to be pretty neat handwriting though. We tested it with poor handwriting and it came back jumbled.
Will it keep my notes in my own handwriting if I prefer it that way? I’m considering buying this as an electronic journal but want my own handwriting
Yes, it just takes a picture and then you upload it. The benefits of the book is its reusable. I love mine and I know I’m not wasting paper or my notes will be lost in a one subject notebook somewhere on a shelf.
What colored pens are available to buy that wipe off like the pen that comes included? (seller)
There are various types of pens, markers and highlighters. Search for frixion pen, marker, or highlighter to see options.
will saliva ruin the coating of the paper?

When I write notes with different color pens are the scans also color?
Yes but it doesn’t scan. You literally take a picture with your phone and save it in an app.
We need to return the 1st rocket book we ordered because it didn’t include the pen. Where is the return label to send?
Did you try asking them to send just a pen? Not sure about the return label.

Yes, it just uploads your notes like a photo and then you can erase what you wrote and start again. It will also do several pages as 1 upload.
What kind of app is it when it is blasted off? Can I open it in Microsoft word and add to it?
Not Microsoft Word that I know of. You can blast them off to OneDrive, Google Docs, your e-mail accounts, Evernote, and some others I had never heard of. I would check the Rocketbook website or the app to see where they send it to.
