1. Introducing The Tempo 2 HR Fitness Tracker

The Actxa Tempo 2 is an all-day fitness tracker with continuous heart rate monitoring and heart rate zone indication markers.

2. Install The App

Health Promotion Board’s ‘Healthy 365’ app can be installed from the App Store or Google Play.

3. Getting Started

To save the battery, the Actxa HR fitness tracker is set into hibernation mode during manufacturing. For first use, long press the screen for 8 seconds. The device will start up and be ready for use.

If the battery indicator displays low battery level, you should fully charge the activity tracker before using it. Refer to the section on ‘Charging The Battery’.

4.1 – Join Challenge On Healthy 365

Sign up for a challenge on Challenge page. To participate, fill in your personal particulars. The number of steps taken is captured by your Tempo 2 HR activity tracker. Pair and sync your steps data from the activity tracker to Healthy 365 app by turning on the Bluetooth® on your mobile phone. Keep within 30cm to pair and sync your steps data.

4.2 – Join Challenge On Healthy 365

For first time pairing, place the activity tracker next to your mobile phone and keep away from other activity trackers located within a radius of 1.5m. Upon completion of challenge sign up, select ‘Tempo 2 (HR)’ as your wearable tracking mode.

A pop-up display containing the nearby tracker Bluetooth® Friendly Names (BFNs) will be shown, select the BFN that matches your device to initiate pairing. Your device’s BFN can be found by tapping to the last screen of your device. Check your device’s Time/Date display for your 4-digit code. Key the code into the Healthy 365 app and submit.

4.3 – Join Challenge On Healthy 365

The Tempo 2 HR fitness tracker can store steps data up to a maximum of 7 days. Record and sync your steps to the Healthy 365 app at least once every 7 days to update your step count.

5.1 – Pairing A Replacement Activity Tracker With Healthy 365 App

To replace your Tempo 2 HR activity tracker with a new one, do the following to pair the new activity tracker with your Healthy 365 app:
Select ‘Apps’ on the menu bar and tap on the ‘Change Tracker’ button located under ‘Tempo 2 (HR)’

5.2 – Pairing A Replacement Activity Tracker With Healthy 365 App

A pop-up display containing the nearby tracker BFNs will be shown. Ensure that the Bluetooth® connection on your smartphone is on and the new device is placed next to your smartphone. Tap on the BFN that matches your device to initiate pairing. Your device’s BFN can be found on the second last screen of your device.

5.3 – Pairing A Replacement Activity Tracker With Healthy 365 App

Check your device’s Time/Date display for your 4-digit code. Key the code into the Healthy 365 app and submit.

Note: Please sync your steps before changing your tracking mode. Steps taken after successfully changing your new tracking mode will be added to your previously synced steps.

Operation

For optimal accuracy, wear the device on your non-dominant hand. For example, if you are a right-hander, wear the device on your left hand. To activate the display, simply tap on the screen. Tap continuously to view different activity information and the device’s Bluetooth® Friendly Name (BFN).

Workout With HR Monitoring

To turn on workout session with heart rate monitoring, long touch the screen for 3 seconds to enter into Workout Mode at the workout screen. The timer for your workout will start and record your session with your heart rate.
At the end of your workout, long touch the screen again for 3 seconds to stop and to see your workout summary.

Note: The Tempo HR 2 is able to monitor your MVPA activity automatically throughout the day. This function is to allow exercise session of any duration to be tracked and monitored until it has been deactivated.

Heart Rate Zones

Please wear the tracker tightly for accurate heart rate monitor. Based on different HR range, the display will show 3 different HR training zones so that you could control your exercise intensity effectively.

To find out your estimated maximum heart rate, use the common formula of deducting your current age from 220. Eg. A 30 year-old will have an estimated maximum heart rate of 190 (220 – 30).

Note: If you have a medical or heart condition, consult your doctor before using this product.

Charging The Battery

The battery indicator is displayed on the home screen of the device. Charge the device when there is 1 bar left on the battery indicator. The whole charging process takes about 2 hours.

Important Note: Heart rate monitoring will automatically be turned off once the battery indicator falls below 2 bars.

Water Resistant

The device is water, sweat, and splash proof. It is not suitable for prolonged underwater activities. Please remove the device when swimming, engaging in watersports or entering a steam/sauna room.

General

I am unable to sync my Tempo (J1810) series tracker to the Actxa App

The Tempo series (Tempo 2/Tempo3C) is launched in conjunction with HPB’s National Steps Challenge, and as such it is only compatible to be synced with HPB’s Healthy365 App, but not the Actxa App. If you would like to sync your steps with your phone, please install the Healthy 365 App.

Do note that the Healthy 365 App can only be used in Singapore.

How do I set the time?

To set the time, please download the Healthy 365 App and sync the tracker. The time will be set automatically.

I need help setting up my tracker.
