The new AVN (Audio Video Network) products are designed to operate over a standard CAT5 infrastructure, offering Dante®, AES67 AoIP compatibility and simple web server configuration.

AVN-CU2 Configurable Dante Commentary Unit for 2 Commentators

The AVN-CU2 takes a new approach to provide a multi-purpose configurable tool for commentary teams. Its power lies in the impressive mix engine which overlays the usual Dante® Controller settings. Once Dante® flows have been made, inputs and outputs can be mixed freely to AoIP or physical inputs and outputs, controlled using the programmable buttons and rotary encoders, which control the gain and pan of inputs, outputs or cross-points, allowing total flexibility for different situations. It can be used in any number of different commentary situations, controlled manually or remotely and controls can be ‘locked down’ so that they can’t be tampered with or altered, to guarantee reliable operation.

AVN-AH8 8 Stereo Headphone Outputs Dante Interface

The AVN-AH8 multi-channel headphone amplifier is a 1U rack-mount which distributes 2 sets of stereo audio to up to 8 different sets of headphones, fed from the Dante AoIP network.

AVN-GPIO GPIO to LAN Transceiver

The AVN-GPIO converts GPIO (General Purpose Inputs & Outputs) to network commands to control, and be controlled by, other equipment or software across a standard network.

PTP Grandmaster Clock with GPS Receiver

The AVN-GMCS is a GPS receiver and PTPv2 grandmaster clock for usewith AoIP applications. IEEE1588-2008 PTPv2 (precision time protocol) is used to synchronise all the nodes within a network. The AVN-GMCS supports the Default (RAVENNA) & Media (AES67) Profiles and has PTPv2 time stamping resolution to 8nsec. Options for precision onboard crystals provides accurate holdover sync if the GPS signal is lost. The unit also has physical wordclock, AES and PPS outputs for studio use.

12 x 2 Channel AES67 Mix Monitor

The AVN-PXH12 is a world first – it can simply and effectively simultaneously monitor and mix up to 24 x AES67 AoIP sources in a compact 1U rack to a speaker/headphone combination in a quick and intuitive way.

These are a range of 3 audio interface portals which mix and route analogue, AES3, microphone & AES67 stream inputs to analogue, AES3 & AES67 outputs.

Each of the portals can be ordered either with the input/output metering displays (D version) or without. All units have input/ output/crosspoint level trim and output limiters.

IP Streamers

The Pro Audio Streamers are a range of three IP to audio and audio to IP streamers. They each have professional analogue and digital inputs/outputs and allow audio to be streamed around a building, wan or lan using IP audio and CAT5 cabling infrastructure.

• The PS-SEND-SD which converts an audio input to an IP stream.

Analogue Telephone Hybrids
The analogue HY-03 telephone hybrid sets the standard as an excellent value, high quality telephone hybrid. It is fully automatic, with automatic signal limiting, automatic call answering and both local and remote line hold switching.

Digital Telephone Hybrids
The digital DHY-04 telephone hybrid is probably the best performing digital hybrid in the world, with simply stunning line balance rejection figures – 76dB typically. It is fully automatic together with echo cancellation, conferencing, front panel input and output gain controls and front panel LED metering of receive and send signals. Additionally it has auto-sensing AES/EBU or analogue XLR I/O, an Ethernet port for remote configuration and remote control, SNMP and DTMF dial up recognition.

GSM Hybrid
The DHY-04G is a digital GSM hybrid which has all features of the DHY-04 but uses a 2G cellular connection instead of an analogue POTS line. Ideal for studios in remote locations and with the outstanding performance of the DHY-04.

HD Voice Hybrid
The DHY-04HD HD Voice Hybrid is used on a 3G or GSM cellular phone network instead of a telephone (POTS) line. The DHY- 04HD can accept a SIM card and by connecting a GSM antenna, it can receive and make high quality broadcast calls over the cellular network, converting the 3G/GSM call to the 4 wire audio signal to/from a mixer. The cellular module is quad-band GSM and 5 band UMTS/ HSPA+, to take/make calls on any 2G/GSM, or 3G network.

Portable Telephone Hybrids
The CM-TBU line-powered telephone balance unit is a basic hybrid for 2-way talkback purposes and the CM-TLL provides a low-loss interface to receive audio from a telephone line.

Audio Logging
The Net-Log has been specifically designed for long-term recording and archival.

It uses a dedicated hardware recording platform with a simple network connection for audio playback.

Flashlog 8 is configurable, ultra powerful multi-channel logging software. Using the Sonifex sound & radio capture cards, IP based line inputs and internet radio streams, Flashlog can be used to continuously log up to 2 years of radio broadcasts or audio. New features include archiving & logging of HLS streams.

Professional Sound Cards : The PC-AD2 2 Stereo Analogue I/O & 2 Stereo AES-3 I/O PCIe Half Height Sound Card is a dual stereo analogue input/output and dual stereo AES-3 digital input/output sound card in the PCIe half height format. One of the analogue inputs can be used as a mic input, there is a dedicated AES-11 sync input and also 2 GPIOs.
