DANGER

To reduce the risk of death or injury by electric shock:

  3. Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
  4. Except when charging, always unplug this appliance from the electrical outlet immediately after using.
  5. Always unplug this appliance before cleaning.
  6. Unplug the charger or USB cable before using appliance.
  7. Do not use massager without attachments.

WARNING

  1. Do not operate this appliance under a blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occur and cause fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
  2. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on, or near children or disabled persons.
  3. To avoid risk of injury, this massager must not be used within six inches of an implantable cardiac device.
  4. Use this appliance only for its intended use, as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
  5. Never operate this appliance if it has been damaged, if it is not working properly, or dropped into water. Return to Wahl for examination and repair.
  6. Do not carry this appliance by supply cord or use cord as a handle.
  7. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
  8. Never operate the appliance with the air openings blocked or while on a soft combustible surface, such as a bed or couch, where air openings may be blocked. Keep the air openings (if any) free from lint, hair or the like.
  9. Never drop or insert any object into any opening on this appliance.
  10. Do not use outdoors.
  11. Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
  12. During use, do not place or leave the appliance where it is expected to be subject to damage by an animal, or exposed to weather.
  13. Keep this appliance dry.
  14. Consult your physician before using this massager in case of pregnancy, varicose veins, recent surgery, unexplained pain, or illnesses including but not limited to heart condition, diabetes, or osteoporosis.
  15. Do not use massager on:
    • Sensitive skin, swollen or inflamed areas, or skin eruptions;
    • Areas of poor circulation, or insensitive skin;
    • The front of the neck;
    • Genital areas;
    • Sleeping or unconscious persons.
  16. When using a massage attachment, make sure it is properly seated on the unit stem, and keep it on while massaging.
  17. Do not use damaged attachments. Discontinue use of attachments if cracked or broken. May cause injury to skin.
  18. Do not use this massager for more than 20 minutes in any one area.
  19. Do not crush, disassemble, heat above 100°C (212°F), or incinerate the appliance, due to risk of fire, explosion, or burns.
  20. This appliance contains batteries that are only replaceable by skilled persons.
  21. Do not expose or store the appliance at temperatures below 0°C (32°F) or above 45°C (113°F). Avoid direct exposure to sunlight.
  22. Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the appliance outside of the temperature range of 0-45°C (32-113°F). Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of this specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.
  23. For an appliance that includes a power supply unit (charger) only use the one provided with the appliance to recharge the battery.
  24. For an appliance that includes a power supply unit (charger) correctly orient it in a vertical or floor mount position.
  25. For an appliance that includes a USB cable only use the one provided with the appliance.
  26. For an appliance that includes USB charging capabilities only use with a USB Power Source on a certified product, such as on a computer, receptacle lamp, class 2 power supply, or automotive adaptor. Never use an unapproved USB source.
  27. Always attach plug to appliance first, then to outlet.
  28. To disconnect, turn all controls to the OFF position, then remove plug from outlet.
  29. Do not use massager in close proximity to loose clothing or jewelry.
  30. Keep long hair away from massager while in use.
  31. If batteries are damaged or leaking, avoid contact with the skin or eyes. If this occurs, immediately rinse well with water and seek medical care.
  32. To prevent batteries from heating up or releasing toxic substances, do not modify, pierce, damage, disassemble, short-circuit, overcharge or reverse charge the appliance or its batteries.
  33. If the unit stops running or charging, please allow it to cool before attempting to use or charge. If the problem persists, contact your nearest Wahl repair location.

LITHIUM-ION BATTERY REPLACEMENT

LITHIUM-ION BATTERY REPLACEMENT, MASSAGER DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING:

  • For battery replacement send the entire, intact massager unit to: Wahl Annex 3001 North Locust, P.O. Box 578, Sterling, IL 61081.
  • This appliance contains a rechargeable battery that is non-replaceable. Do not attempt to remove the battery. Lithium-ion batteries can explode, catch fire, and/or cause burns if disassembled, damaged, or exposed to water or high temperatures.
  • If you choose not to replace the battery, the entire, intact massager unit must be disposed. Do not attempt to remove the battery for disposal. Lithium-ion batteries may be subject to local disposal regulations. Many locations prohibit disposal in standard waste receptacles. Check your local laws and regulations.
  • For recycling contact a government recycling agency, waste disposal service, retailer, or visit online recycling sources, such as www.batteryrecycling.com or www.rbrc.org.

CLEANING AND SERVICE

CLEANING/STORAGE

  • Always unplug massager before cleaning.
  • To clean, simply wipe unit with a dry, soft cloth. Do not immerse in water or use any harsh cleaners or solvents.
  • When storing unit, make sure cord is not twisted or kinked. Store unit in a cool, dry place.

SERVICE AND REPAIR

This unit has no user-serviceable parts. If you have problems with your massager, do not return it to store where purchased. Send it prepaid with a note explaining the problem to: Wahl Clipper Corporation, Attention: Repair Department, 3001 Locust Street, Sterling, Illinois 61081, Telephone: 800-767-9245. For products purchased outside the United States, contact your Wahl distributor.

LIMITED WARRANTY

2-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

VALID IN U.S.A. ONLY

If your Wahl product fails to operate satisfactorily within two (2) years from the date of original purchase or receipt as a gift, Wahl will, at our option, repair or replace the product and return it to you FREE OF CHARGE. Do not return this product to store where purchased. Products needing repair under this warranty should be returned with postage prepaid to the following address or call 1-800-767-9245 for assistance: Wahl Clipper Corporation, Attn: Repair Department, 3001 Locust Street, Sterling, Illinois 61081.
When mailing, please include a note describing the defect and the date of original purchase or receipt as a gift. Products out of warranty will be repaired at our standard repair charges.

This warranty does not cover products damaged by:

  1. Modification or repair by anyone other than Wahl Clipper Corporation or a Wahl authorized service center;
  2. Commercial (non-consumer) use or unreasonable use.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. No other written express warranty is given. No responsibility is assumed for incidental or consequential damages of any type or for the use of unauthorized attachments. Some states may not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the limitation may not apply to you. Warranty valid in U.S.A. only. Outside U.S.A., check with store for Wahl authorized distributor’s warranty.

REIMBURSEMENT

  • This unit may qualify for reimbursement through your work FSA (flexible spending account), Medicare, Medicaid, and some insurance companies.
